Thanks for doing this one. It is likely the best version of this song. This one is emotional but yes, "Breathe" needs a disclaimer. It is highly emotional. Still, as it likely the only time Pau will ever perform it live, it is a MUST see.
Authentic is the word I use to describe Pau's passion when she sings something like this, and it's what distinguishes her performances from all the rest. And wrote it when she was 13? Dios mío. Tears. Without fail.

Fabulous reaction Red!!! This sweet and beautiful young lady just poured her heart and soul out to all of us...everything she has. This simply is why these 3 sisters are the greatest Band and greatest human beings in Rock music...they are unmatched!!! This absolutely stunning song Pau wrote at 13 years old about addiction is easily the best song ever written. Lost my Brother to addiction so tears in my eyes and so proud of this young lady for doing this. So much love for the Villarreal Sisters for giving me back my love of great music.

Paulina is an animal on those drums of hers, but she wears her heart on her sleeve and she can certainly excel at songs like these. I would recommend doing Breathe sometime and make sure you click on the closed captions to understand what she's saying to the audience, as always Red, great reaction. I agree with a comment below that this is probably the only time you'll get to watch this performance by her, I don't see her doing it again.
_Black Holes_ is one of Pau's most impressive ballads. Even more so when you consider she wrote it when she was just *thirteen* , and based simply on some articles she read.
She did co-direct the OMV for Que Mas Qieres (sp?) and she wrote the screenplay.
I've imagined this song in the setting of a movie about a famous rock diva who fell victim to addiction, living on the street, and she hears this song from outside a dive bar where it is being performed, and it starts her on her way back up.

So many personal things tied up in this song that most will never understand, but Pau expresses perfectly, even though it's not something she has lived through.

The version of Breathe made this 68 year old army vet roadie and dad cry. IT is that good and from the depth of her heart.

I've seen this video probably a thousand times give or take a couple, and EVERY time I do, I get the same reaction as if I'm watching it for the first time: tears. She is such a beautiful soul, and the world is better with her in it.
The Warning is one of those special rock bands, where everyone at their concerts is inspired to sing along with every song. This makes their fanbase a true community. The Warning has and will continue to warn the world of the problems they see in the world. I am motivated to help make positive change.
Pau strikes the feelings so damn hard, you’re so right about depth. Some singers are very good at acting it out, Paulina feels it from her core.

@@charleswharmbyiii8401 Didn't recognize it by name so I went and listened to *Jeremy (Live) - MTV Unplugged - Pearl Jam* and it sounded terrible. For a while there I thought that I recognized the song after about one minute, but no, they must have written another song that sounded exactly the same for a short while.
