I honestly thing lack of socialization at an very early age has a lot to do with reactive and aggressive dogs. Taking pups from their mother at 7-8 weeks messes them up, the don’t get to fully go through the weening phase where the mother sets boundary’s and they don’t get to learn social cues, boundaries, even little things like how hard to bite when playing from their litter mates or pack(mom dad etc). Then people never socialize their puppies so they don’t really know how to talk to other dogs properly. Puppies separated at 8 weeks vs 12-14 weeks are so so different.
You are correct about that. It definitely does NOT help & that is what I have been teaching for the last 18yrs. . . And with the vibration of our society, their pet parents and life effects them as well. I've seen some dogs be socialized and then they are good for the rest of their lives. But then there are those who if they are NOT continually socialized, they revert. But this starts with that lower tolerance to life. Their beginning genetics because you could chain a dog to a tree most his life with only 1 person feeding him and the first time they see someone, they are eager to meet them. But most dogs now, would be fearful and aggressive or submissive. Thats genetics. But with Pup Tappin & K9 OMG we can now change those peptides & how their genes are expressed.

When I learned from this video was that socialization of the early age is very important and how you respond to the dogs fear is important as well.

Sadly my dog was taken away from her mother too young and I think you are spot on.
