In every video you demonstrate an increasing level of skill and judgment. It's amazing that you're willing to show your audience how you continue to grow in your craft. Thank you.
I truly love the looks of Tricker's, shoes and boots. I also know for a fact that they're of good quality... There are 3 models I've always loved to get (Monkeys are one of them), but I just can't wrap my head around the idea of paying $600+ for shoes, of any kind. Great job as always and it's nice to see you're working in new brands.
He visto muchos artistas del calzado y te puedo garantizar que no hay nadie que cosa la suela más rápido que tú. Muy guapos los dos trabajos que has hecho, Matador. Yo tengo algunos pares de Tricker’s y si valen la pena. 💯🐐👽👏🏻👏🏻🍾🥂👊🏻
Hey My Brother. As usual, Your work is Absolutely Amazing! Them Monkey Boots look Awesome. Wish they were mine 😀 ... I'll be waiting for your next video. God Bless 🙏🏽 ...
No pros or cons at all Hot cork, cork sheet or pre-cut cork they all work the same Hot cork crumbles faster than pressed cork. Leather makes a difference but it has an extra charge.
If you're building shoes in a factory, there are costs advantages. It cost less to buy bulk cork. Less labor compared to cutting cork to fit, then glue and hammer. When you cut cork there's waste with trimming. Adds up in a factory production schematic. A cobbler doesn't gain real costs savings, because of volume.
And they say Alden, Made In USA, is overpriced. Tricker's are out of my budget range. Nice. But I'm not paying that much for boots, shipped from England. I can buy Made in USA, of similar quality.

Question: what are the pros and cons of spreading hot cork instead of pressed cork?
No pros or cons at all
Hot cork, cork sheet or pre-cut cork they all work the same
Hot cork crumbles faster than pressed cork.
