This video begins with the first Business Questions of new Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg.

The smile on Jacob Rees Mogg’s face is a picture.
he is trying soooo hard not to succumb... it's all hilarious including the speaker..
@New King that would be sensational lol
OMG!! This Speaker makes me happy. The way he admonishes people is the best I've ever seen. This is WAY better than any State of the Union or Committee Hearing we have in the US. I am finally interested in British Politics. This is amazing.
Quite so but the late George Thomas, Lord Tonypandy as he became, was by far the most entertaining Speaker of the House in living memory.
Hahaha everything's better in britain
The then Speaker, John Bercow, was a vain, pompous, self-important and unforgivably rude man. His greatest fault, however, was his palpable political bias, something utterly inexcusable in a Speaker of the HoC. The day he departed the House was a joyous relief.
For the first time in my life I think this is the first time I have seen everyone in the chamber laugh and smile at the same time.
That was more entertaining than many so called entertainment programmes..
Thanks God I understand everything which Mr. Johnson says (fast but audible)... my british english accent has improved since I had been in Coventry last year, and I have good reasons to watch the broadcasting every day... I love UK.....
Rogerio Costa 🙌 good work
Andrea Ledsom was a great Leader of the Commosn however the role is made for Jacob Rees-Mogg.
absolutely, he's born for it, brings out the best in him
Exactly I'm putting from soccer to my kids and let me know with the government 688 680 quid £88 how can I go to manage make it
When I go to the benefit as a 888 lb and now £780 is an appointment for the card and I pay the tax and the end of the day you cut me and upon extra and I need buying my kids school clothes everything floors and the extra money for the food everything and cutting £100 how can I go to pay for that
Lol row meaning is everybody say that's the road but it can make you everybody killing that the lowest law no you are submitted to it that's right thing in the law
You must be spending the money for the 20 million-pound generation how can I make it and externally coming your not that's your thing but another day ukulele spending money is a vesting money now
As a German, look at the German Bundestag over 700 MPs ... and is boring! Britains "Order" is passion pure!!! Rees Moog Wow
The US House of Representatives is similarly boring.
Henry Discipline no never not with a CDU-SPD govererment
The Spanish Congress is... shut down. I think Vox MP would gave us great days of fun and controversial but the clock passes by and very likely new general elections will happen on November 10th.
you want politics or entertainment? lol
Don't be fooled by the "good manners" expressed in this house. Many of these elected dialectitions and grammarians are traitors to this very house, the UK and is people by refusing to accept the will of the people. Will these same traitors refuse to accept the results of the next general election? lock them up or at least vote them out while you can.. Use your democratic rights people of the UK, while you still have them.
59:48 Bercow losing it 😁
I watched this live on TV and can honestly say, I haven’t been so entertained in a long time. BJ spoke with energy and conviction, not to mention giving Corbyn a good slap. JRM is pure gold. Long may this dream team continue.
I came here specifically for JRM. More please.
Mike Bliss I’m a fan of JRM too 😁
Didn't last long 😂😂
JRM and Johnson, welcome back to freedom UK! Love from the US!!@
I don’t know about entertaining, but it’s very heartfelt! In the US, one person speaks (often for Hours) and everyone sleeps without a peep and often many or most of them don’t even show up
Great to see Mr. Rees-Mogg on the front benches.
That was entertaining. It is fun to watch the commons again.
The House of Commons definitely has its entertaining moments unlike the US House of Representatives which is boring as watching paint dry.
What is garden grabbing? Stealing vegetables people are growing in their gardens?
Why, when Rees-Mogg stands up, do certain other members on the back benches also pop up?
@@Anon54387 Why do you think? lol
Anon54387 To signal to the Speaker that they want to ask a question
Boris will not be the most professional PM but he defiantly has a stronger spine than Theresa May has.
Strength is not always a virtue in and of itself unless the thing you're lifting is worth the strain. Otherwise you run the risk of simply making a vulgar display of power.
Johnson, of he does not betray us, might well re define professionalism.
@@jackrainbow560 by representing a political presentation style, views and attitudes that've been active since the dawn of bi-partisan politics? Johnson will not redefine anything - the sociopolitical context he finds himself in may allow him to be viewed as professional for the first time in his career though.

JRM in full flow. Great answer to Mr Leslie! Most questions are on social issues. Is this deliberate?
I think it's because Rees-Mogg has very right wing social views/very socially conservative views which are outdated now e.g his views on abortion and gay rights are controversial. So I'm assuming because of his infamy for his social views

No they won't: words are cheap for Boris.
He didn't last long
@@adama-k2710oh shut up
Funny how so many people in the world when an election is held and they don't win, they want vote after vote to get their result. It happened in Ireland when the Irish didn't want that cumbersome EU Constitution, the powers that be in Brussels wanted them to vote again. Didn't that happen with Portugal? Then the Scots independence vote, lost, so we want to vote again. Then the Brexit vote, lost that and now we want to vote again. The reason is cited that the British people did not vote for either May's deal or "No Deal." If I remember correctly, no one discussed a deal until after the referendum and the government mentioned a withdrawal deal. Personally having studied British history for 40 years, I have great faith that the United Kingdom can prosper without EU protectionism. The EU Commissars seem to have been more interested in punishing the UK for daring to want to leave, than being good neighbors. Its nice to hear some optimism coming from the front bench, although it never seems to happen when labour are on the speaker's right.
Well said, Jay. There has been too much negativity that this country can't be successful without the EU. A country that pretty much invented the modern world.
Jay - difference between those countries and ours is we're not a banana republic and we can spot a shafting coming from 100 miles away which is why we won't stand for it.
What is wrong with people calling for another vote? Especially for the scotland and brexit vote, it can be conceivable that public opinion has changed. No one knew what brexit was like during the vote, it has become clearer now. For scotland, brexit might heightened the wish for their independence.
They can call for a second ref all they like they aint getting one - and we'll have left the EU long before one could be organised anyway. Which by the way is why a vote of no confidence can't stop it.
@@streaky81 what? You can't just say a thing isn't going to happen because you don't like it. Also, why don't you want a second referendum?
