Sometimes educated people struggle to put into words what they want to say.

    • @reellezahl

He's not a genius. His education is extremely laughable and pitiful-he only has an II-1 honours and in a pathetically useless field-history. @@reellezahl So everyone studying at Oxford who does not get a first has had a laughable, pitiful eduction? Or is it only pitiful if they studied a subject you do not personally approve of? That is such a self-evidently stupid comment that it does not need further analysis, it stands for itself. As for not having worked a day in his life, that is even more laughable. He worked for nearly 20 years in banking (1991-2010), which may be a field you despise, but that does not make it no work. Quite the opposite, you tend to work very long hours. Again, you may despise the field and despise the people working in it (and fair enough - your right, and certainly an opinion that is quite widely shared) but to say it is no work is, again, as self-evidently stupid as your barb at his education. In addition, if you look at parliamentary statistics you will see that he is one of the harder working members of parliament. He is often one of about 10 people in a session nobody else bothers to attend. He is a very committed parliamentarian, unlike many of his Labour and Tory peers, who turn up half the time he does. Again, you may despise his politics and fair enough, but to say he is not working is absurd. You seem to have a bizarre notion that any job you do not approve of does not fall under the definition of "work".

I am a great believer in paying credit to your opponent when they pull off a good move.
The dark and songwriter sinister forces behind Brexit pulled off three absolute blinders.
      1. They have managed to convince poor people that Brexit will be good for them.
      2. They have managed to convince a significant chunk of the population that a no deal Brexit is preferable.
      3. And this is the move I am in most awe of, they have managed to convince leave voters that they voted for a no deal Brexit all along when we know that a no deal Brexit was never even mentioned during the leave campaign.
      Actually, make it four things.
      4. Convincing poor people that the widespread economic, social and political devastation a no deal Brexit will cause is worth it because it "butthurts leftie remoaning snowflakes". That was the final killer move.
So to Trump, Putin and the disaster capitalists, I salute you on a job well done.
