Salli Dobinson. My favourite quote by Jacob Rees Mogg was “ it might take up to fifty years before the UK reaps any economic benefit from Brexit” . Can’t really argue with him about that.
I am a great believer in paying credit to your opponent when they pull off a good move.
The dark and songwriter sinister forces behind Brexit pulled off three absolute blinders.
1. They have managed to convince poor people that Brexit will be good for them.
2. They have managed to convince a significant chunk of the population that a no deal Brexit is preferable.
3. And this is the move I am in most awe of, they have managed to convince leave voters that they voted for a no deal Brexit all along when we know that a no deal Brexit was never even mentioned during the leave campaign.
Actually, make it four things.
4. Convincing poor people that the widespread economic, social and political devastation a no deal Brexit will cause is worth it because it "butthurts leftie remoaning snowflakes". That was the final killer move.
So to Trump, Putin and the disaster capitalists, I salute you on a job well done.

abdi abdi I strongly agree with that notion. Claire B, I honestly question your intelligence in regards to your comment on brexit i.e “bring on brexit. Let me ask you this, how can you support such a inscrutable idea, when brexit will further impose economic austerity?
abdi abdi I said that because of his love of the procedures and history of the House of Commons and our constitution.
Epz tana you obviously do not understand what Brexit was about, it was partly about the economy, but the main reason was for a radical reform of how politics is done in this Country, the people who live here having the power to hold their political parties to account, being able to change the direction of the government and bring powers back to this Country.
Claire B I’m fully aware, but I’ll give you just a little hint into why it hasn’t occurred yet; it’s because is a bad idea for the country, I fully believe in democracy but democracy fails when the majority of people do not have a clue about the consequences of brexit.
