Tying A Bowline

This video is dedicated to Peter Lasch Sr., a husband, father, grandfather, canoeist, and World War II veteran, who taught us to tie a bowline on the shores of Opeongo, Algonquin Park. We miss you, Grandpa Lasch!
Filmed in the heart of cottage country in Muskoka, Ontario - this video shows how to tie a bowline knot using a one-handed wrist action (similar to the method of tying a bowline with one hand).
