Thank you for explaining. I’m thirty and started seeing my chiro mainly for right sided numbness hip pain here and there. My first time and I started in March, I’m towards the end of my adjustments (started at twice a week now down to once a week) and I feel “worse” my numbness has shifted to the left and I was told it was normal (xrays showed I had almost no neck curve, and my right side was lower, and my spine curved more to one side (my right I’m assuming idk) anyways it can take a mental toll but thank you for the cross reference!
chiropractor most of the time appear to be con men. Yeah it feels nice to be popped a bit but its all in their head if it feels better. Went to one with some back pain, afterwards had worse pain for weeks
I agree with you. I went to a chiro for the first time and was not impressed. Didn't find the root cause. Felt worse when I got home. It's so over rated. I reckon chiropractors are only suitable for the odd severe case but not for general issues. Rather do yoga and physio type workouts over chiro any day! Nature knows best lol
I think it’s unfair to judge all chiropractors after dealing with just one. After 3 years of pain management and 4 cortisone shots in my lumbar spine, PT, and all kinds of medications there was no improvement and pain was considerably worse. Finally the pain management Dr. recommended chiropractic care. I did my research and found one in my area who was recommended by neighbors and friends. I went. For the first time in 3 years I knew what was wrong with my back. I’ve had several adjustments with much success. I was finally able to take my dog for a short walk. I was sore after my adjustment too but once it subsided I was able to do things like put my socks and shoes on by myself. They may not be for everyone but just as there are bad doctors, there are bad chiropractors. You don’t judge all doctors by one bad one so I think your characterization is unfair.
You ate scaring me😳😳I have lived with intense pain for almost 6 days, 48hours post chiropractor and I feel so sore. More than I felt coming in. I'm scared il live with this pain forever 😢
@@realteawithsandy1366 what type of pain is it? I'm not a doctor but I've managed to figure out what my pain was caused by and i've fixed it mostly. A LOT of backpain is caused by muscles that are too weak to support the areas. Once I started doing certain exercises which my doctor nor the chiropractor mentioned would help , I started almost instantly feeling better. Now 6 months later, I feel fine. I work out regularly and do the exercises i found that help me. I feel great! So could the same thing work for you?
Good video. This happens to me sometimes and it’s usually after not getting adjusted for a long time. Or there was a recent minor injury or area that’s being worked on
I had this chiro do my 1st seated occipital lift on 1 side only. I never consented to it and he adjusted based on X Rays. Went home and the side he didn’t adjust got so tight. I was in chronic pain and couldn’t sleep well for 2 weeks!! 3-5hrs a night. I have to get another chiro to adjust both sides now and even me out. That’s a powerful adjustment. Doing 1 side only is not studied enough to prove it works 💯 and I believe in eliminating the interference. Atleast on my 1st 1 do both sides to start.

I’m almost 2 months into a treatment plan and I feel a lot worse than when I started I’ve spent so much money already and I don’t know what to do.
I feel the same way. I went in on Monday and I'm so sore no painkiller, stretches topical creams are helping. It's so debilitating
