A few years ago, I was diagnosed w/ trigeminal neuralgia.... terrible, sooo awful pain. I'm so grateful that I decided to go to a cervical chiropractor vs recommended surgical intervention for relief. My pain was reduced by 80% after the first adjustment. He said I'd need to come 2x weekly the first mo, 1x per week for a couple wks, 1x month for the last visit. This was to make sure everything stayed in alignment. So amazing, so grateful for this! Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone is suffering from this ❤
No surgery needed! 100% recovery. I went to see Dr Alex Bello , upper cervical chiropractor, w/los angeles, ca. A true blessing, miracle.. so grateful for this. Sorry for the late response
Did you try prolotherapy? From 2018 I had big migraines (from C1-C2), sometimes 3 times in one week, my tongue is little burning. After second session of prolotherapy I don't take ANY painkillers, I don't have ANY migraines. Level of my pain drop from 7,5 to maybe 3 in 5 weeks (for me is game changer, I couldn't believe for this day-its 6 week after first session ). Now I have pain on back of my head (I feel bad pressure and tongue burning), but I hope for better future now :). In Poland I payed 250$ for one session. I know is only beginning of my journey, but after some many years in pain, I finally have hope. God is good 🙏
I started seeing a chiro last week after watching your video and pondering it for a bit. I have to say it is really helping me so far. Thanks for the guidance!!
I went to an upper cervical chiropractor for about 6 months. I never felt any better and always felt worse after treatment, always nausea and dizziness. the chiropractor used a trigger gun kind of thing and would tell me that there is no way that it would make me sick but maybe my body was just healing. I stopped going in December. I didn't feel like it was helping me at all. I have since started with a new chiropractor who has said I have all the symptoms of central sensitization, and my body and nerves just couldn't handle the trigger gun that he was using. This new chiropractor is amazing and is so gentle with my body. I've only been a few times but am hopeful she can help me with all that is going on with my body. good luck to you and I really hope your treatments work!!!

It may help you to think of the pain as stagnated energy, and to try feeling it as you encourage the energy to flow out of the body, out of the toes and fingertips.
Can. You imagine people who've had something like this and have been falsely Diagnosed with m s I've heard a lot of good things about upper cervical treatments.
New subscriber. One of your recent cleaning with chronic pain videos was suggested to me . I have a lot of chronic pain conditions too . I have had therapy but too afraid to try a chiropractor for myself . I wish you good luck and am interested in seeing how much it will help you long term. Thank you for sharing with us .
Upper cervical chiro is the best! I started in 1992 and it allowed everything in my body to work correctly and I had a ton more energy. i unfortunately stopped because I wanted to go overseas in mission work and thought I wouldn't be able to maintain this while overseas. That was a big mistake (to quit) because everything moved back to a bad position, and I lost all my energy. I went back to the mainstream medical and that was a big mistake too. Finally after trying nutrition and some other therapies I got my atlas positioned back correctly and things started to improve. It was a lot longer process getting back now because i allowed the misalignment to come back (when I quit). I get checked every few months now to maintain and am committed to it. I wish I had stuck with regular checks from the beginning but that was my journey over thirty years. I wish everyone had the atlas and axis aligned but you can see from people's posture that almost everyone is misaligned (possibly even from birth if forceps were used in delivery), and it affects their health in a negative way through the years.
After my research and getting help from an upper cervical chiro. I believe everyone should at least get checked out one. And that mainstream medicine should look more at the atlas and axis as possible causes for a lot of the symptoms we have. Far too often, medicine just wants to teat symptoms and not causes. There is no money in fixing causes and having a healthy society.
I had to do my research too because drs were just telling me I had pulled trap muscles and anxiety even tho my symptoms were so severe I had gone to the ER several times for what I thought was a heart attack and seizure or stroke or something. I finally found an Dr Hauser's website and could not go to Florida at the time so I first tried a UCC and she started saving my life. I could not hold the adjustments so did start prolotherapy last November and while I still have some sucky symptoms to deal with unfortunately, I am so so much better than before the prolotherapy and am able to work 45 hrs a week and do some very light exercise. There were times before that I could not even carry a purse with just my phone and a bottle of water it and sometimes couldn't even put on makeup or drive my car. They really saved my quality of life and hopefully I will still improve with my last few treatments 🙏🙏🙏
Ooh--that Chiropractor doesn't sound like he's familiar with: Ehlers Danlos (collagen disorder/hypermobile) Syndrome. EDS patients can be seriously injured from chiropractors: be careful. I have hEDS: my individual vertebrae twist all along my spine in various directions. I also tried chiropractors, before I was diagnosed w/ hEDS. I also get BAD migraines. After chiropractor corrections, my spine & neck vertebrae continued to twist different directions, & cause spine & neck pain & interfere w/ Spinal Fluid flow, & cause me migraines. Your Spinal Fluid moves with each heart beat, washing up & around your brain--it probably wasn't blood circulation that you believe was causing the headache-throbbing, since your Cervical Spine Manipulation, but rather: Cerebral-Spinal Fluid circulation interference. (Please do some research on it .) After I was diagnosed with hEDS, the ED Foundation, my Geneticist, & Rheumatologist advised against Chiropracty, but I see: a Non-Narcotic Pain Mgmnt. Specialist that does: site injection along my spine & cervical neck & extremely gently pushes (takes her about: 90 min s, each bi-monthly visit) my twisted vertebrae, correcting them back into alignment, every: 2 weeks. The site injections relax the muscles, along the spine, & help with pain--because those muscles work harder for hypermobile patients. Hypermobile vertebrae will continue to slip & twist, causing pain, interfering w/Cerebral Spinal Fluid & causing migraines, whether your muscles are: "trained" or not...because of the genetic collagen disorder. You have so many Co-Morbidities (co-diagnoses) to hEDS, that I strongly encourage you to visit the: Ehlers Danlos Foundation Society website, & look at the hypermobile EDS clinic cklist, under the drop down menu for: Providers. There are at least 14 different types of EDS, but only the hypermobile type (hEDS) doesn't have a known, identifiable DNA Marker (at this time: Feb., 2021). Many patients are referred to a Geneticists, & go through Genetic testing before their hospital group or physician will use the Ehlers Danlos Society hypermobile checklist, to assess, in clinic, if there are enough symptoms & medical history for a chronically ill patient struggling with similar diagnoses like yours & mine, Aimee. (A tough, looong road of suffering.) The checklist is the only defining thing for a hypermobile EDS patient (hEDS). There is no genetic test, currently for hEDS, the most common form of EDS. Make sure you read thru the list, before seeing your Dr , & try to remember, I suggest making a list, of your Co-Morbidities & earlier diagnoses, such as: Twisted vertebrae in your cervical spine, Migraines, Intestinal SIBO, (did you say you also have long intervals, in between bowel movements--Dismotility?), Dysautonomia (dizziness, nausea, sometimes falling or passing out), Lazy Eye, & anything else that correlates with collagen disorders (2/3rds of our body is collagen). Cerebro-Spinal Fluid interference really hurts--with every heartbeat. You may need to ask to be referred to: Neurology--if so: a Sitting UP MRI or CT can better show Cerebro-Spinal Fluid Interference, instead of lying down, so be sure to request an UPRIGHT MRI from your Neurologist, if they order imaging. God Bless You, & your sweet family, Aimee Esther.
Darlin Aimee, IMHO: You suffer from inflammation of the “Brain Stem”. I suffered from it too. I used to go to the Chiropractor every WEEK. Then I discovered if I didn’t sleep parallel to the ground the stiff neck every morning and the migraines were gone. Let gravity work in your favor. I haven’t been to a Chiropractor in 15 yrs because I’ve slept in a recliner for 15 yrs😊 Ironically I also had a car accident in high school and ended up with whiplash, migraines and a stiff and painful neck😮
too bad. what you don't know i that the level of nerve interference and the symptoms it produces in a given individual often increase when the person lies supine. on the other hand, if the person is not out of adjustment but has some temporary nerve interference with instability the level of nerve interference will decrease after lying supine. truth is, it takes some time to check someone properly to be as sure as possible wether or not they actually need to be adjusted, regardless how they feel at the present time.
You are not going to a good practitioner. It should feel good. You should feel better. Releasing the muscles of the shoulder will not put you out of alignment.
My chiro destroyed me. I simply did physio exercises and I feel much better now. Neck adjustments work for few and are short term relief. If any one wants a long term success in fighting pain I ld recommend seeing a physio who is an expert giving you a proper exercise plan to bring back your mobility and strengthen your muscles.
Be careful with even the ones specializing in upper cervical. I went through this treatment for 2 months until I got adjusted and it caused me a spinal fluid leak, enraged the triggers in my neck, and gave me a chronic condition called occipital neuralgia, which is severe, had to leave my job, now in physical therapy, have head severe neck pain and migraine and tension headaches for a month, I already deal with severe IBS, Fibro, PCOS, me/cfs, and Intersistial cystitis.
