This is by far my favourite Joan Armatrading song ever, been listening to this song over and over because it that very amazing. This song is so lit. 🔥🔥🔥😄😄😄😀😀😀👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
This Gal is magical she still leaves me in tears with some of her other songs. This song is great and reminds me of my sister Rosie. Cold Feet gets me everytime.
Something your mama always said, "Oh Rosie, don't you do that to the boys !" 😄 I Love it ... what a realistic song! Happy Sunday... thank you sharing! 💖
@@colingeddes2172 That is true. Colin... Realize that life isn't always fair, accept what you must, and change what can. Have a Beautiful Sunday Evening! Stay safe. 💖
It's more accurate to say Tracey Chapman puts you in the mind of Joan, who came first. What you said is like saying Bob Dylan puts you in the mind of Tom Petty.
You are entitled to your opinion, but personally, I have never understood why people liken Joan Armatrading to Tracy Chapman. Yes, they are both black, female singers, but Joan is enjoyable to listen to and her songs convey a range of moods. Neither of those applies to what I have heard of Tracy Chapman's music.
This song passed the test of time. In flying colors.
yes
Oh yeah. Before Chapman the was Joan!

That voice!

I first heard (a remake of) this song in a Benny Hill Sketch and I had to hunt down the original
Theme to the tv show of course called Rosie .
A lot of disco tunes were produced in Germany 👍🏽
I only know this song cause it was on the Benny hill show. I had to hum it to google to find out the original song. 😅

Perfect song. But Willow is a really “Joan song”. Perfect lyrics, perfectly sung. You believe this song
Wat singt dat lo?
She puts me in the mind of Tracey Chapman

I can see your point
In reverse world maybe.
Tracy has much to thank Joan for imo.

15de plaats in de Top 40, en 8 weken genoteerd. 18de plaats klopt niet.
15e ook niet. Had nr 1 moeten zijn 😉
@@svenjansen2134 Had... maar helaas. Stonden andere veelal bagger platen op 1.
This woman probably inspired Tracy Chapman
Great song. But Willow is beter.
So is this song about a cat or a gay guy🤔
