In my opinion, the best part of this interview is the fact that the interviewer kept his mouth shut, and let these two guys have an actual conversation, so many interviewers want to be heard, it's not about the interviewer, it's about your subject, they should all remember that ..
Such a great interview and awesome memories of you two from back in the mid 80's when I lived in East Charlotte! Working out with y'all at American Fitness off Independence Blvd., spotting Ivan on the bench press, and then watching matches in Rock Hill at Winthrop Coliseum, and the Charlotte Coliseum. Nikita, we did a couple of Food Lion Commercials together at the Winthrop Coliseum. You were awesome, always stayed in character throughout the entire shoot with Tom Smith. Thanks for the memories!
What a great rivalry back in the mid-80s these 2 pro wrestling legends, Magnum TA & Nikita Koloff, had. It"s great to see them together again after all these years
Lol nobody cares about wrestling hall of fames. The only legitimate one is the Wrestling Observer one and maybe 10 people not named Meltzer could tell you whos even in it
The first time I ever saw Nikita give a Russian sickle, especially when he was a heel, I thought to myself I'm glad that wasn't me. Nobody gave clotheslines like Nikita Koloff and the Road Warriors when they all were heels. All 3 were my favorites. And of course we know where Magnum TA come from, Magnum PI. As I am writing this I'm sitting here watching WCW January 1986
Ecellent interview 8:48 Sugar Creek probably back to 77(since some of that did exist then) then down to something like Tyvola & Woodlawn as Crockets office was on Briabend Drive.. its now a medical type place, a converted convivence store to a wrestling promotors office then. 12:30 boo'd on day 1, awesome.

Glad I came across this interview
These guys are both incredibly intelligent what a good interview.
THESE 2 ARE NOT IN THE HOF IS CRIMINALLY INSANE!!!!

@@mikeplumer7687Hall of Fames in anything are bullshit, it always tends to be about politics
