you prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
I came across this more or less by chance years ago, via a stranger who shared with me that she had sung this while studying in Estonia. Since then, I often find myself humming or whistling it, and come back to the video frequently, because it's such a beautiful piece. I dearly hope it stays up on UA-cam so I can keep revisiting this old friend.
You are ao kind! I hope you'll see the biiiig 2025 one! I am a folk dancer, and I also sing.. Much love to you! A person who appreciates different cultures and traditions and history is great❤❤❤❤❤
Love and Light to Isamaa of lost souls !!! They have the biggest heart on earth, they take you under their caressing wings !!! Love and Light to Estonia !!! Las ma saan üheks Eestimaa maa ...
this video does no justice to what hearing 120k+ voices singing together at once, would love to travel to estonia and hear this live (im 95% sure this is from their national music festival, something to do with them gaining their independence from the soviets without firing a single shot)
See the film or at least the trailer for the film "The Singing Revolution" and "Glasnost Rock '88" (which I now have to explain is the year 1988, the first year of the Singing Revolution, and the year that a big concert took place in Tallinn, Estonian Republic of the USSR, because the f**king Nazis have to f**k up everything, and those f**kheads have now claimed possession of the number "88", because they're f**king Nazis and that what they do) ahem...sorry....You'll finds these films and another, made in Estonia and subtitled in English etc., "Disco and Atomic War" in all the usual places like UA-cam and Amazon. It's about how TV from the West via Finland gave Estonians a Window on the World that was unique within the USSR from the 1950s and all the way through the Cold War. No one else in the Soviet Union had access to any information from the West not sanctioned by the Kremlin until VCRs became available, then they were dubbed in Russian language translations in homemade videos of Estonian TV sets broadcasting "Dallas" and "Night Rider" with Finnish subtitles, and were copied and passed around the whole USSR on the underground market. "Who Shot JR?" was the shot heard round the world or at least round 12 Eurasian time zones. It's perfectly deadpan sarcasm, typical of Estonians, and it's hilarious! ua-cam.com/video/g0VO82FVlxs/v-deo.html
English translation: *Touch* Touch me with your hot cheeks so that it’s beautiful and painful. With the blue-black-white of your eyes touch more, I am begging. Do you still feel how the highest paths in heaven are open to us, when we come together, when we find the chance, lets leave the troubles and sing. Drink from my life with a thirsty gulp, the most beautiful times. I am touching you with my peace and joy as much as you need. 1x “Do you still feel…” Touch me with the power of your goodness, with the only thing that is worth something. With your smooth hand, bless my harsh destiny. 1x “Do you still feel…” Touch me with your hot cheeks so that it’s beautiful and painful. With the blue-black-white of your eyes touch more, I am begging, I am begging. Touch me. Touch me.
Võimas, et Eestis leidub jätkuvalt imelisi heliloojaid ja suurepäraseid dirigente. Kus mujal riigis oleks sellise traditsiooni nii tugevalt püsimine võimalik?

the festival started in 1869, way before Estonia's independence. But it had a huge part in Estonian people's national awakening.
English translation:
*Touch*
Touch me with your hot cheeks
so that it’s beautiful and painful.
With the blue-black-white of your eyes
touch more, I am begging.
Do you still feel how the highest
paths in heaven are open to us,
when we come together,
when we find the chance,
lets leave the troubles and sing.
Drink from my life with a thirsty gulp,
the most beautiful times.
I am touching you with my peace and joy
as much as you need.

Touch me with the power of your goodness,
with the only thing that is worth something.
With your smooth hand, bless
my harsh destiny.
1x “Do you still feel…”
Touch me with your hot cheeks
so that it’s beautiful and painful.
With the blue-black-white of your eyes
touch more, I am begging, I am begging.
Touch me. Touch me.
väga väga ilus laul ... kohal ollaes oli ikka eriti suurepärane... üli ilus
супер!!! 4-й час смотрю песни певческого праздника

ja häid lauljaid! :)
+1
❤❤❤
