when you play the solo and riffs make sure you use the major dominant 7 scale along with the major/minor pentatonic scales. keep an eye out for the 3rd and 7th degrees of the scales if you wanna improvise.
yes! Super lesson. And yes, it's much more complicated on the actual recording. Not the point here. For a garage band cover or a singalong, this arrangment fits the bill. thanks
really enjoyed the lesson, thank you so much and rock on !! could you do more lesson just like this? if so let me know, i have pretty muched love it all the way to the end. really learned alot from a simple and concise lesson.
on the 2nd pass of the intro rhythm on the A7th add a C note 1st string with your pinky on the 3rd stroke of the A7th almost everyone misses that accent you did too. Try it.. You will hear the difference.. sorry I just edited this many years since I played
No, the shape I’m playing is a D7 chord. It looks like a C chord but your index finger is on the 3rd fret and not the first. It is a whole step higher than a C chord. Your pinky is also on the 5th fret of the 3rd string.
This is a very simplistic way of playing Peppers. Listen to the isolated guitar tracks. There is a whole lot more going on with the guitars than just vamping on barre chords. Check out Mike Pachelli’s channel to learn how to play it accurately.
D7. Another voicing rather than a barre chord. Take your regular open position C chord. Move up 2 frets so that your ring finger is on the 5th fret, 5th string. Then put your pinky finger on the 5th fret, 3rd string.
I can send you the TAB. Go to my website www.branchoutguitar.com and send me a message from the contact form so that we don't have to post our email addresses.
Him putting his hand on the guitar 14 times like he is gonna play the cord and then not...is driving me INSANE. Bro save story time till the end or something. Im an exp guitar player of 40 years and thought this might be faster to re learn. Stick to tabs kids
I must have serious ear damage as your rendition is not what I always heard. The basics (I do mean basics) are there but it so is unlike the song. Intonations and annunciations are totally missing and that is what makes the song.
It took me 20 minutes here today, Sgt. Pepper taught me how to play.
Lagomorphen I know it probably took a while, but it’s guaranteed to raise a smile
@@t_mac41603 i think he made a song reference from sgt peppers lyrics 😂
I guess I'm quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream new series online?
@@mylesmarlon1526 Disney+

Thank you. First man I ever saw show how to do that beautiful George Harrison grawing lead intro lick!
Suddenly I can play Sgt Pepper. Thank you.

Paul Goldstein Thanks!
Great job. But when you mention tab, also mention the note. E.i. 8 fret on E string, also say C note for those of us think in terms of notes.
Excellent!!
Thanks Ray!
Excellent job!
Excellent
Pretty much ..
Great lesson thank you
Great hair! :) Great lesson! Thx
Can you do Taxman?
I'll get on it ASAP! Another great tune!
Great video, what do you think about my version?
Great!
You should have way more subs man. Great style.
When you played that quick change from C7, D7, G7 to what it looks like is a c shape but played on the 3rd fret is that right? Doesn't sound the same.

@@Branchoutguitar this is exactly what I did except the 5th fret pinky (although I did try it) still sounded different. thanks!
thanks
Your welcome!
What would you do if I sang out of tune

Great lesson. Love the Beatles. Are you able to monetize guitar lessons on youtube if you are teaching how to play someone else's song?
Hey Michael, not so much yet. I have an online lesson website that I'm promoting for guitar students. Lessons for all levels and most styles.
cuz why not! Great lesson.
Thanks Dave!
Would have liked to hear the lyrics too
One And only Lonely Hearts Club
What's the chord at 5:47?
D7. Another voicing rather than a barre chord. Take your regular open position C chord. Move up 2 frets so that your ring finger is on the 5th fret, 5th string. Then put your pinky finger on the 5th fret, 3rd string.
Branch Out Guitar Ah okay, thank you very much!
Great stuff. Thanks for the info. Subscribed! sincerely, Dean O. :-I
Thanks Dean!
What were those tabs from the intro
I can send you the TAB. Go to my website www.branchoutguitar.com and send me a message from the contact form so that we don't have to post our email addresses.
If you're still interested in the TAB, let me know. I'm happy just to send it to you but I can't post TAB on my site due to copyright law.
+Branch Out Guitar no thank you, I figured it out
I believe you're leaving out the Dmag in the intro.
Hey man, what Is Dmag?
D major my mistake.
I don't think there is a D major in the intro. 2 bars of A7, 1 bar of C7, and stop on G7…
what tuning is this
Standard
poorly
From a still Beatlemaniac....
do u have a complete performane track?
Hey Rick, Sorry I don't.
cool lesson
yo sorry to disturb you but, is there is a chance you can see me play blues guitar? I need musical opinions and constructive criticism thanks.
Hey man, what do you want me to check out?
anything at all really :)
Fanatic
left out the other lead guitar/ There's 3
i did not hear a thing, both my ear drums burst, at the begning, why, mate.
Roy Gee Sorry man. I’ve not had any audio problems with anyone’s playback. I’m not really sure what could have happened.
Ya like you don't want chicks screaming at y'all….lol....
T.J. Miller plays guitar
Nah, though. Do like 545 and 323
Also, for some reason that lead guitar was tuned down a step. It kind of matters at the end noise
Wrong.
Play the song first and then break it down, the way You do it bores the shit out of every one in the first two minutes.
God, at’s boring. Hally Hell.
Wrong
that strat sounds like shit

Stop talking show it
I do not like the sound of the guitar.
I must have serious ear damage as your rendition is not what I always heard. The basics (I do mean basics) are there but it so is unlike the song. Intonations and annunciations are totally missing and that is what makes the song.
No, no, no. You make a video where you teach people the cords, and another one where you teach people the songs. You are wasting peoples time.
God, musicians are a pretentious bunch !
