- Timelapse build of a 2006 Yamaha YBR125 transformed into a bratstyle motorcycle!
The YBR 125 is a very popular and cheap bike, also known as the Factor 125 in some countries. This YBR was in a terrible shape!

Is that iron putty that you add to the hoop?

I have been watching build videos for 2 years now, but I want you to know that this one finally made me buy my own motorcycle and start a project, I have no idea how I'm going to complete it, but it will be fun. Your video is very informative and I will surely use it as a guideline for my build. I bought a '07 YBR 125 and will build an urban scrambler, also black with gold details. So, thanks again for posting this video, exactly what I needed. Cheers and all the best from Croatia. ^^
I am really glad I was able to inspire you and make you want to start your own project! Thanks a lot for sharing :)
There is a list of the parts I used on my website for YBR build if it can help you, I can also get you a 5% off coupon off those parts if you want ;)
Cheers :)

@SE8 ty, turned out great
@@mistern1656can i see your bike ?
simple yet so satisfying seeing a masterpiece brought back to life!
Nice build, even like the music, I live in the USA and most people here don't know how much fun a small bike can be. 🏍✌️
Never been a big fan of the style, but you have to love seeing an old bike get a second life. Especially when it’s this well done. Nice job.
me too
Awh man my first bike was a little YBR 125, I crashed it so many times
After 1 year of watching your videos , i started my first bike mod(cafe racer)
Thank you for your Informational videos 💕
i bought a YBR 125 like 5 years ago as my first bike.
it's still my current bike.
i just started to work in a motorcycle garage and i cant wait till i am comfortable enough to try this out. Your work with that yamaha is purely amazing and i love how the bike looks now, i am just flashed how beautiful you can make those with your own hands and 100%selfmade.
I love the video and your style which does not include expensive welding techniques well done...
cafezinha linda!!! Amazing work, perfect
It's a beautiful finish. The area around the handle feels particularly good. I was impressed!
Hey guys, thanks for the great feedback! this really means a lot :)

In any case, I am working hard on trying to bring new build videos to you guys, the COVID has stalled many of my project unfortunately, but things are getting better so stay tuned ;)
Great to see you again. Great build!
And power tools! 😁
Yah, awesome.

this is so perfect! So delicate and good-taste design job! congratulations.. cheers
Usually I hate this type of modification, but I thank you from all of my heart that you take bikes that are in a bad shape and you transform them. We know it's harder work, but some of us appreciate that you don't pick up good condition bikes for your project and ruin their originality.
Parabéns pelo belo trabalho. Greetings from Recife/Brazil!
Recognised the Mitas H-06 tyres on the wheels. I use one on the rear of my 305cc 2 stroke café racer.
The tyre tread pattern (as the Barum H-06) dates back to the 1960's and was the OEM fitment for the quite fast Jawa 50-23 Mustang sports 50cc (48 MPH top speed before tuning), Velorex sidecar wheels and Velorex 3 wheeled cars. They give excellent grip in both dry and wet weather without vices.
They tend to be the common choice for 1970's classic 2 stroke owners too and they closely resemble both the 1970's Avon Roadrunner and 1970's Pirelli Mandrake tyres in shape and appearance.
What a great build! There is so much beauty to be captured in simplicity. I applaud you.
Any chance that orange Porsche in the background is yours I'd love to see a video about that beauty.
Extremely beautiful, congrats!
Projeto top, a yamaha ybr ficou linda 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love it, I have the same bike for 2 years, now it's just out in the sun, abandoned, might start riding again next time..well done man! new subscriber here
Thanks for including the drive test, always satisfied watching the bike works perfectly :D
Heeeeeyyyyy, the song at the end is what Techmoan uses for the end of his videos. I can't not associate that music with him. You should check him out if you like anything techy.
Awesome build as always.
I'm guessing it's from an archive of public domain music.
@@abergethirty Yeah, it's from the YT audio library. It says so in the description. ;)

Sweet Build Man!!! Awesome looking bike
I love his work, and I love that toolbox..
One of The best so far I'm loving it ...confused with the fuel tank it looks totally different...lots of love from India...
This is freaking crazy I wish I could do this type of stuff.
Loved the no welding option for the sub frame - nice job dude 👍
Beautiful build man!!! Your a really good craftsman with what you have! Ride well my friend!
With new fuel tank it remind me a good old Simson S50 and good old czechoslovakian Jawa. Nice build tho :)
Good job! This looks wonderful. I wish I had something like this but maan I can't even affordto get a drivers licence.
Man I wish I have the skill to make my bike like yours.
You made it look so easy.
Lindo proyecto, felicidades!!
No saben que tanque es?
Looks beautiful man, well done!
OH WOW COOL you’ve made a nondescript 125 into something really special! Glad you ditched the black quilted seat fabrics, the Brick/dark tan fabric looks far classy and your accenting withe the air filter / hand grips etc is bang on! You’ve earned yourself another subscriber!
love all your time-lapse builds!!! Do you have a methodology behind the steps you take or is each project different based on what work needs to be done?
Ficou insana !! Muito bom !! 🤘😍🇧🇷
Congratulations man it's absolutely fantastic 🤘🏾
Simply awesome… Couldn't say anything else.
Great stuff, great content! You and your channel among others has inspired me so much so I’ve just started my own UA-cam channel and hope I’ll get half as successful as you! Keep it up!!

Amazing work man, i am now motivated to work on my RX 135.
In Brazil we have this model the Yamaha Ybr 125cc, and I always thought it would be a perfect model for this type of customization. But our traffic laws and regulations do not allow our owners to have the right to change a screw, so we ride around with dull motorcycles and no personality.
Congratulations on your project, it was awesome.
Muito linda, gostei muito 🇧🇷
rafael fernadz Brasil!
Top ... vai Brasil
I'd love to see you take a Honda Grom and turn it into a mini cafe racer. That could turn out pretty cool.
That would be cool indeed ;)
Or a Benelli TNT, there are cheaper than the Grom here in Spain. But no idea that if they are cheaper too in France...
Beautiful plan and execution. Well done !!
Show !!!
It's a beautiful build....keep up the excellent work! One suggestion if I may, since its a cafe style bike you were aiming for, traditional spoke wheels instead of alloys would have been better suited for its retro/classic looks. Just my opinion... might be cheaper too😄
That bike looks too good to be true, amazing job!
Well done mate beautiful job , Australia is watching
WTF is a cafe racer, this channel keeps popping up in my reccomended....
Btw it's a really nice build
The term cafe racer originally comes from Britain. Look it up on google. It has great history to it. When you learn about it, you may find it very interesting.
This is not a café racer, a Brat is a Japanese style of bike and Café racer is British in origin, requirement number one to be a café racer is 100 mph capable hence the term ton up club from the café racer days, trust me this 125 will not get to that, lol
@@electricdeckhead3083 No need of "100 mph" to be a cafra 😂😂😂 and let people do what they want 😉
@@grymbathym635 your gonna be last to the café then, on your "racer" seriously you need a history lesson. I am only informing someone of what they asked, it would be wrong of me to do otherwise in my opinion, this bike has café racer styling but is more along the lines of a brat/ tracker, it's a nice bike for sure, I hit the like button, but the guy asked a question and I answered it, I am not stopping anyone from doing what they want, like you claim, so don't try and demonise me to make yourself look better.
@@electricdeckhead3083 Also there are many 125's that can get to 100mph+
got motivated to continue my project. I abandoned it. 😂

Well done, Dude! Such a beauty at the end!
Tahitian rider. I really love the design i would like to know how much is the total amount you spent??

O gajo do vídeo é francês
That is a sweet build. You do beautiful work.
Great job as always !
I just have a little question, what is the small air filter for ?
This is "Air Induction System" filter. Original pipe is going to air box, but there is no air box. You can see it at 1:39
Yup indeed, TY :)
Just wandering what a general cost for a project like this is if you have most of the tools needed??
Imo ~700 bucks
Just amazing... it's so simple yet stylish.!
I think it’s safe to say that after watching this video anyone would buy that, great job!
When you have everything at home
Linda moto like Brazil!👍
one of the best modifications! Amazing.
How much cost this?
This is wonderful oldschool beauty😍
Hi, amazing project. Do you have the list of what you have used and spent on this motorcycle? I want to do a similar project. Thanks
If you find any of the parts let me know haha Im wondering the same thing, mainly the tank

Best one I've seen, excellent job 👍
Where would one learn these skills and how would a person acquire the knowledge to be able to do this :)
