I wasn’t able to find much information about this secret satellite station online, but it looks like it’s not fully abandoned in the normal sense. It’s elusive, solitary and rarely visited, but may or may not be remotely controlled. Either way, it was a very cool spot to check out. For those who are wondering, the gates were wide open so no trespassing was involved ;).
