I agree with your sentiment, and have had some exorbitant bills myself, but what is the answer? I personally don't think it's a government system. For one, government corrupts and bloats and messes up everything it touches. Secondly, it would require a substantial tax hike to pay for it. But yes, the insurance industry is just a giant grift, and a boondoggle for certain members of Congress who surely benefit from them benefitting. Paying someone else to maybe compensate you down the road, if they feel it's fit, is just a giant ponzi scheme. @@gpaull2 Missed opportunity for her, if she’d just had a single bark cell capable of understanding being humble and gracious, she could have made bank. Now, she’s turning literally everyone against her even more. The most deluded white woman we have ever seen in Australia. She is so out of touch with reality, surrounded by sycophants and enablers all latching onto her and giving her bad advice. Especially whomever her lawyers are. Look up Ray Gunn the musical. Her handling of that was atrocious.
@ She sued a small time comedian and a comedy club for trademark infringement (because her dance, the kangaroo, is hers I guess and her silhouette is copyrighted). In suing the comedy club she prevented the money raised from the tickets sold from going to a local women's shelter
Even the other clips of her “dancing” are terrible. She’s stiff, rhythmless, and has no flow. I think it’s her that doesn’t understand the culture, especially since she couldn’t be farther from being from NYC
Luigi hasn't been convicted for the crime yet. For someone who runs a true crime show and covers a lot of recent events and uses "allegedly" both as a joke and an overabundance of caution, kind of a huge oversight. Especially when the NYC mayor is under fire for doing the same thing
Side Projects just casually framing the story in a way that Luigi DID the murder, not suspected. Not as if he's currently on trial and innocent until proven guilty, they're just like "Here's what Luigi Mangione did..."
It's not as if people haven't done that with countless others accused of high profile crimes. Mason Greenwood is still hated by the "me too" crowd even through the actual "victim" (his own girlfriend) dropped the charges. Gylffi Sigurdsson was accused of child molestation and was acquitted, but it essentially ruined his career. People forget about the accusations against Kobe Bryant since he was killed in that helicopter crash, but he was also getting raked over the coals in the public forum before any legal decisions were adjudicated.
@Hakzer im not saying your wrong but the reason they cease assests is to unsure you don't run off with a off shore bank account living a good life in a country who won't cooperate ie russia
Sometimes being non offensive or judgemental middle of the road is worse than having a strong opinion. The entire world laughed at this sheila and Simon's Britishness sounds so condescending by pretending it wasn't the shit show it was.
It is crazy to me people denied Harris working at McDonald's. Like it was nearly 50 years ago, the records are not as complete as you may expect, especially going that far back. I worked at Wendy's nearly 20 years ago, and I couldn't provide any direct evidence of it. And getting it from them isn't easy.
I mean we're only a month into 2025 and we've had back-to-back plane crashes and a president trying to do as many insane executive orders as he can... Believe you me, I've been saying WTF all month.
The pagers also went off inside hospital, maiming hospital workers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's a war crime. It was a terrorism act in itself, and you should acknowledge that.

C’mon. Raygun was terrible. 17yrs of breakdancing and she is still crap. I’m an Aussie. It’s embarrassing. She also has become litigious and is a liar about it. Two thumbs down 👎🏻 👎🏻
Ray Gun's performance was awful and a waste of our time. If she is the best that her part of the world has to offer then they might as well stay home. Break dancing may not be an Olympic sport but world competitions exist such as B-Boy Championship and Battle the Year where no one would have had time for her trash routine.
Whoa simon! Luigi hasn't been convicted of anything. There wasn't a single allegedly in that whole story. Also, it is WAY more than a fringe few who support Luigi. At least in the US, he is considered a hero vigilante by MANY
he's considered that about close to 70% of the population. even republicans were cheering him on. the only people that werent were people who lick the boots of billionaires, and people in the health insurance industry.
Want to defend raygun? look her up and look at what she has done in a tone deaf response to her laughably pathetic "routine", she demanded all the money from a satirical play be given to her when it was supposed to be going to a womans refuge.
Raygun hasnt made us smile and laugh. If you have any sort of public spotlight.....any sort of large audience, and you want to imitate her moves then sorry for you. She copyrighted the moves and has lawyers sending out cease and desist letters. One charity event had a logo that LOOKED SIMILAR TO Rayguns kangeroo dance and they had to cancel it because they were hit with a threat of a $10,000 lawsuit for copyright infringement. She is quirky, but she is an evil quirky. You cant copyright dancing. I mean, you can, but its an exercise in futility. Especially when you want to say that acting like a kangaroo is a special sort of dance. She would probably sue someone with a disability if they were imitating a roo and she mistook it for her dumb dance.
Oh Simon, Simon.... Exploding pagers that injured and killed bystanders, IS an act of terrorism... Only an American (or German for that matter) would overlook the innocent victims of that incident. And you did again, calling United Health a health "provider", shows a truly peculiar way of looking at the world...they collect insurance premiums and provide as little healthcare as possible.
You know… When you put it all together like that… It's kinda surreal to think about living through these events, thinking that they matter at the time, and then immediately being distracted by the next crazy event. You never realize how "interesting" the times you are living in are until someone on the outside lists them for you, lol
Hold on Simon. Let's be clear. 9) Local Law enforcement had been asking for extra support from the Secret Service and had already pointed out areas they couldn't cover and coordination with the Secret Service was piss poor and it was most certainly from the government side and not local law enforcement. The investigation following this resulted in showing the short falls of a Secret Service that was woefully inadequate thanks to its leadership. 8) Collateral damage? You're joking right? This strike had the smallest amount of collateral damage possible especially given how this was implemented. Don't want your kid to die? Don't be a terrorist and kill another countries kids. Israel constantly goes out of it's way to warn civilians in areas they are about to strike to take cover. Hamas and Hezbollah indiscriminately fired 10s of thousands of rockets into civilian areas while launching those rockets from school yards and hospitals. They put their military assets in these places to make Israel look bad when they defend themselves. 1) That's your number 1? Over the assassination attempt? The successful assassination? People in the US weren't that scared. It was just Jersey.
Israel uses starvation as a warfare tactic. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Yes, Hammas is horrible, but Israel is losing their moral authority in this conflict. It’s not okay to kill children because their parents are monsters.
And about 8), do you also condemn the shelling of Hospitals and Refugee camps in Gaza? Or is it that some lives matter while others are, let's say, disposable?
@@elizondorj let's all forget October 7th ever happened, shall we and just consider how important it is that we protect the ter***ist sympathizing Palestinians?

While watching Raygun's death-defying breakdance performance with my loyal dog Ford, I could tell he was totally spellbound by her Kangaroo-inspired moves. You see Ford has always wanted to travel to Australia to chase Kangaroos, we cracked open another beer, looked at each other and I said to Ford "One day my dear friend one day."
All of the evidence collected in the Luigi case was way too convenient, and the photograph of the killer and Luigi doesn't quite match. I don't think he did it.

Yeah it’s odd also leading into 2025 I don’t really care about the Super Bowl, award shows, politics, news, movies, music, social media, technology, etc. Plus everything is so expensive and the wealth gap doesn’t help. While it feels like a new era there’s nothing new to look forward too - and not from a depressing angle because I have everything I want. There’s simply nothing new to fill the void of all the above but maybe that’s a good thing as it’s now all AI, remote, and corporate centric based on profit. So back to basics. At least there’s still UA-cam videos, the outdoors, and dogs 😂
Are you saying that you neither watched nor reviewed the very first Olympics, or that these were the very first Olympics Games that you neither watched, not reviewed?
2025 needs a CEO reaping and our first hunger games. Help can be insured prior to the game. But that help comes with steep copays, OOP minimums, and only slight discounts. Helpers have the option to withhold help. Also. Help will come at a steep markup with the goal of draining their funds and estates thereby mirroring artificial inflation. During the game help will increase in cost overtime further draining their resources so even their families will suffer financially. Then we can see whether CEO want to lower salaries, decrease wages, increase expected work, seek cheaper benefit options all while increasing the price of goods.
and yet any actual breakdancers would tell you, nothing she has done either at the Olympics nor in any of the home footage shown in this video is break dancing
Describing Raygun`s "dancing" as any form of breakdancing whatsoever is oxymoronic, there is no semblance of technique OR performing any recognized move in breakdancing, and if anyone found that artistic instead of plain old ridiculous needs professional help, or just, change their medication.. That was "how can I spasm and incorporate some Aussie wildlife poses", more suited for toddlers and very very young children than anything olympic. ALLEGEDLY. Just keep Raygun away from the pediatric oncology, those poor kids deserve better..
I'm almost always on the same page as Simon's writers, but I think it's ridiculous to think that there weren't many more qualified female break dancers in Australia who would have been willing to go to the Olympics. Also, the idea that she thought that she had anything near a world-class level of talent and would be anything other than an international laughingstock, dragging her country along with it is ridiculous.
Luigi was responding to all the people killed by the insurance companies. His own issues made him aware but it wasn't what radicalized him. It was the systemic injustice he saw.

While true I think it had little impact on the election, it was very ironic and out of the norm, but totally a thing Trump would do. We are just used to him now.
I don't recall her doing or saying anything inexcusable after the Olympics
@ She sued a small time comedian and a comedy club for trademark infringement (because her dance, the kangaroo, is hers I guess and her silhouette is copyrighted). In suing the comedy club she prevented the money raised from the tickets sold from going to a local women's shelter
Even the other clips of her “dancing” are terrible. She’s stiff, rhythmless, and has no flow. I think it’s her that doesn’t understand the culture, especially since she couldn’t be farther from being from NYC
It's hard to believe she's been breaking for 17 years, and that was her, and the nations best! 🤦♀️
She probably gets credit for being original though… no else does her moves 😂😂😂
Luigi hasn't been convicted for the crime yet. For someone who runs a true crime show and covers a lot of recent events and uses "allegedly" both as a joke and an overabundance of caution, kind of a huge oversight. Especially when the NYC mayor is under fire for doing the same thing
Raygun is a menace. You should have gotten your Aussie writer to write that entry.

Nahhhh. The biggest what the fuck of the Olympics was DEFINITELY that Turkish guy in the shooting contest😂
Nah. The rapist that was allowed to go and compete despite being convicted
@@100percentSNAFU 💯% Agree my friend.

C’mon. Raygun was terrible. 17yrs of breakdancing and she is still crap. I’m an Aussie. It’s embarrassing. She also has become litigious and is a liar about it. Two thumbs down 👎🏻 👎🏻
Big fat “Allegedly” on that Luigi story, sir.
Ima have to disagree about it being the local law enforcement falt.
It was absolutely secret services fault!
Ray Gun's performance was awful and a waste of our time. If she is the best that her part of the world has to offer then they might as well stay home. Break dancing may not be an Olympic sport but world competitions exist such as B-Boy Championship and Battle the Year where no one would have had time for her trash routine.

Raygun won all those medals by carefully not allowing any of the dancers who actually knows how to perform, not to participate by her connection
I think the indigenous people of Australia have a kangaroo dance. I think they should sue her.
The McDonalds scandal was mentally deficient. His basis for her not working there was she didn’t put it on her senators resume.

Yeah it’s odd also leading into 2025 I don’t really care about the Super Bowl, award shows, politics, news, movies, music, social media, technology, etc. Plus everything is so expensive and the wealth gap doesn’t help. While it feels like a new era there’s nothing new to look forward too - and not from a depressing angle because I have everything I want.
