I am in total agreement with you and the kuerig 2.0 videos. But the magnet works well with some two sides tape or hot glue. Be well my friend. I totally agree with you.
Sorry but the easiest and quickest way to do this without damaging your Keurig is to use a small piece of black electrical tape to hold the magnet in the engaged position. You can't even see the electrical tape unless you are looking for it. 20 seconds and you are done.
I noticed that a "doctored" K-cup was used to demonstrate the menu coming up when the top was closed.......... It was the cut out side of the label imprinted with the Keurig logo.......then glued or affixed. Is having to use a recycled label this still necessary?
gregerie67 Thanks...I sure appreciate your quick reply. I now understand that the machine's eye still has to read the "keurig brewed" logo imprinted along the edges of the new licensed K cups or be fooled (as in your demo) into using non Keurig licensed type K-Cups.
When you use this method ... Would it be possible to use a refillable k cup ... One that is sized appropriately to allow the maker to close all the way....? Thank you .....!
ROFLMAO!! Love your video!! I had watched all of the other "videos", including the "idiots"!! Yours is the best and easiest and foolproof!! Thanks so much!!
Thanks for posting! The problem with this is, when I put in a K 2.0 cup, it recognizes the cup not the carafe so I can't make a 14oz cup. I guess the fix would be to cover the 2.0 cup so the lazer doesn't see it. So funny, a couple days ago I removed the taped bit of legit K-cup over the sensor and now I need to hide legit ones.
Kyle Shelby "Ohh I thought you could use one cup as much as you want" Seriously??? [f a c e p a l m] Do you always ask questions first and then just save logic for special occasions only, or what?
Natasha Schmidt if you place the magnet exact same spot where it's supposed to be and exact same way and you using a licensed Keurig Kcups the menu will come up. if you're using a generic K Cup you need to get a licensed k cup lid and cut it out and place it over the generic a cup because the machine will not work with a generic k cup
Nice video and good hack. The world is full of idiots, so that's a no brainer there. One question, don't take this too serious but, did you by chance, get tetanus from the pliers you used?!?! Those look like some salt water fishing pliers!!! ;) Thanks for sharing.
I just would like to say thank you to those who liked my video.

This hack is ONLY to get a full menu... Its not a hack to use off brand k cups if it's not a lic. keurig k cup you will have to use a recycled label.

If i use a off brand k cup i cut a old lid my self its a easy quick fix.
Also they might have a new hack out not sure i dont keep up on it.

Thanks for the video. So using this hack with the freedom clip to use whatever K-cup makes the perfect brewer. :)
What about using the big K cup for the pot????
You can still use it.
does the coffee taste as good after you do this a couple of times?
Kyle Shelby All this hack is to give you a choice of different cup sizes and a few other functions.
Ohh I thought you could use one cup as much as you want
And also what if I do this but I don't like it and don't want to do that anymore

Jared Gonzales hahahaha i died!
will this work for the k300
yes
Even tho when I tape the magnet down to where I would glue it with out braking it and the menu still won't show up
try to rotate it to a different side

some actions I saw voids the warranty
Nice hack!!
It still looks like to much work lol
