My original calling in life I feel has been to work with children especially with special needs.. however for various reasons I chose a different path in life “health and Safety in manufacturing”. For awhile now it’s been on my heart to pray, and to seek out info to furthering my education. During this time I am doing allot of research and looking up vids just trying to learn and find a good content. And…. Just after just a few of your vids it’s very clear that you are an amazing teacher.. thank you for all that you do for your students and for your “UA-cam” students haha
Teacher trainee from the UK here! Just wanted to say I love your videos! I have 1 more year of my training less and I'm specialising in special educational needs so I love your channel - really helps me to picture what the job will be like when I graduate, very excited to see all your planning, work etc. Hope you have a lovely day!
I stumbled on to your vlog and now I'm glued to the screen. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I'm a new teacher and these keys are priceless!!
I would love to see how you schedule your day to divide your time between in class and online students. I’ve been in rooms where assistants do all work with in class kids and the teacher hardly ever interacts with in class kids. Have separate room for online students and never come out. That would be great, even if it’s short and sweet.
Love the reading lesson approach! I’m curious how you set up which topics to read each week? I’m currently idling ULS but am looking for supplemental reads!
hellooo. I always enjoy and find your videos very insightful as a student practicing for SpEd. Honestly, I get so envious of the SpEd there compared to ours here in the Philippines. Is it possible to ask what the transition programs are like there??? Thanks so much!
I do have some questions How would I join the special Ed class Do you have to have a diagnosis or do your teachers just tell how you have trouble Because the person who diagnosed me Asked somebody who didn't even grow up with me If I had symptoms as a kid So they said I couldn't be autistic But BEFORE THEY LIED. THATS WHAT THE PERSON WAS GONNA PUT ON THE PAPERS. But I don't live with my family And the person who told them I didn't have signs Doesn't believe in autism And I hate those people So I asked the diagnose person to email my legal guardian the diagnosis And obviously emails get lost REALLY EASY and yeh So I ended up getting fake diagnosed with ADHD and for a while I thought it was right and then I figured out what the person was asking Because when they asked If I had signs as a kid I was confused and didn't understand at all or why they asked So I got a wrong diagnosis but I live with really ableist people and they definitely won't take me to get another diagnosis But would I HAVE to go get a new one to join And my other question Would I be in my classes like normal and they would come get me a few times a day or something and then we do class And what would we do Would they help me with stuff and then if there's any time leftover then we could just talk and stuff?

Hi! Do you bins for every month of the school year?
this was good thanks for doing this :)
Riley HALLS Head COLLEGE Holly
I do have some questions
How would I join the special Ed class
Do you have to have a diagnosis or do your teachers just tell how you have trouble
Because the person who diagnosed me
Asked somebody who didn't even grow up with me
If I had symptoms as a kid
So they said I couldn't be autistic
But BEFORE THEY LIED. THATS WHAT THE PERSON WAS GONNA PUT ON THE PAPERS.
But I don't live with my family
And the person who told them I didn't have signs
Doesn't believe in autism
And I hate those people
So I asked the diagnose person to email my legal guardian the diagnosis
And obviously emails get lost REALLY EASY and yeh
So I ended up getting fake diagnosed with ADHD and for a while I thought it was right and then I figured out what the person was asking
Because when they asked If I had signs as a kid
I was confused and didn't understand at all or why they asked
So I got a wrong diagnosis but I live with really ableist people and they definitely won't take me to get another diagnosis
But would I HAVE to go get a new one to join
And my other question
Would I be in my classes like normal and they would come get me a few times a day or something and then we do class
And what would we do
Would they help me with stuff and then if there's any time leftover then we could just talk and stuff?
