VFX artist here. The large part of the argument for actors and writers is the use of AI. An extreme case is that a lot actors signed away their likenesses for digidoubles and marketing purposes. Technology is at a point now where we can recreate an actor and their performance without them. The studios want to scan background actors and use their likeness indefinitely without residual pay. So while it may seem crazy to be fighting the studios now, the ai battle has to happen now.
Actors have few good points (and only few, fuck them for attacking fans) but the writers can fuck off with the garbage they've been spitting out for the last decade. Bad writers don't deserve pay and job just because they're in the union.
I was going to say, I expect Linus does think the studios have failed the actors. Yet he talked about the actors being out of work, instead of the actors ditching the studios or making their own, etc.
He's also completely out of the loop on this issue - his argument that actors/writers don't have leverage because studios are making losses makes no sense, since the reason for that failure has nothing to do with actors/writers but studio heads/producers only focusing on garbage that few people want. If these studios focused on creating actual new exciting content, you'd have massive revenue growth - for example, the first "Knives Out" movie had a budget of 40 million; it made 320 million worldwide and Netflix ended up paying close to half a billion for the rights for two sequels. IMO, actors+writers have massive leverage - the studios were silly to release that 'let them starve' statement and then letting Disney CEO Bob Iger give an interview where he claims the workers are making unreasonable demands but couldn't back those claims: those were perfect soundbites for the unions. Not to mention - the studios are failing to read the room: all recent strikes worldwide have ended with workers achieving great results (other than the rail workers strike, thanks to government intervention) and society is very much in the 'two middle fingers up for corporations!' mode.
Its a battle they can never win. Aside form making sure that the production only uses their faces for things that are cleared beforehand. But they could just use generated faces for background people. The writers strike is really funny cause honestly most TV and cinema that has come out in recent times sucked really really badly. Usually had really bad writing. Now i don't know where the writing gets killed. Maybe they have someone higher up making stupid decisions or they have some inclusivity advisors or whatnot that get the last word on any script and just turn it into garbage. Point is, that the writing is horrible and AI could do nearly as good as what they produce.
Had the US government offer my family 3rd party ID monitoring for a few years after they lost a huge amount of personal info in the mail between offices while we were submiting paperwork to them. Did nothing and still have issues to this day regarding attempted ID theft
Let me guess " You must send your original ( birth certificate, bank statement, drivers licence... Pick one or more appropriate )". They will not send it back, but next time demand the same. Meanwhile you can not drive, buy food etc without that form being returned. The ID scammers only need a bad photocopy to get past the same department.

As an Australian I could never justify the shipping. So many times I'd made a cart and then seen shipping costs of 50% extra and I just couldn't justify it
💯 agreed the only reason I made a cart was to compare pricing from buying Amazon America and shipping to Amazon Australia and see how much extra we pay
It’s still not worth it in America lol $70 screw driver? Home Depot Husky ratcheting magnetic driver is just as good and only $10 and comes with 20 bits. I really wanted to buy his merch but EVERYTHING is just way too over priced. Clearly his market is people who make $120k+ and have no family or responsibilities
I was crying laughing during the "how much did we lose on international shipping?"!!!!! I love you guys and I really was waiting for a shipping promo to do a big order but I'm always busy Friday nights. Unfortunately for me, I will also be busy during Saturday night WAN Show but I am looking forward to possibly more shipping promos so I can throw a little whale your way. Keep up the great work!
I look forward to the new series _"Luke loves this!"_ and it's just him shamelessly using his platform to take tours of awesome places. We'll even get so much footage of him slack-jawed and speechless there can be a super cut at the end of the year 😂 💯
Dan is just casually accessing building blueprint archives like a humanoid chatbot to answer Luke's arbitrary question about what's generating a concerning liquid noise.
As a working class actor (who doesn't qualify for health insurance) and SAG-AFTRA member I really appreciate your statement about not promoting AMPTP works. There are lots of non-AMPTP indie productions on the way that are getting interim agreements from SAG-AFTRA which will help some members to continue working. 32:23
The lacking memory on nvidia cards is exactly why I miss EVGA. EVGA's double capacity GPUs have served me and friends very well over the years. At this point a 680 4gb has been passed around is still in service over 10 years later and the expanded memory capacity has many times come in handy.
@@redalp90 yeah EVGA stood out by being the best of the best(arguable but justifiable), higher binned chips, better power control, bios settings, unique cases of nonstandard memory as mentioned, but now nvidia specifically said to keep specs similar and under control so the only way to stand out is by cooler design and overall aesthetic, reason why EVGA left. sucks cause i totally wouldve bought that 4090 ftw4 that leaked into the wild if it ever went into mass production
I didn’t even know evga offered that back in the day. Imagine the utopia we would have if nvidia let there board partners actually do stuff like add more memory to this day. People would be getting great deals! Which is what nvidia doesn’t want!
@@bluewizard420 Worth watching Gamers Nexus's video with Kingpin "EVGA's Final GPU Secrets". Pretty well covers the cat and mouse game that board partners played with nvidia to get more out of the hardware.
A 60 class card with an MSRP of $500 actually sounds insane. They were always classed as the midrange, value cards. Even $400 for an 8GB card seems really steep
[27:38] The CW pulled out because the ownership changed hands. WB and Paramount no longer found it viable to create first run shows for it, because ultimately those shows were only designed to make money in syndication. Now with Max and Paramount+ as their primary place for launching shows that could earn more money in syndication, the CW was sold to the biggest owner of local US television stations, Nexstar, who notoriously underinvests in programming.
Love to hear that Luke sees the quality in titanfall 2. Its mind boggling to me how it never got super popular. Its sad to see how my favorite franchise of all time is being handled over the last few years
I upgraded _all_ of my 1/4 bit hand tools and more to very nice Swiss ones just before you released your original screwdriver, so I could never justify buying one… but you absolutely read my mind with that iFixit precision driver. That’s going to be a killer and a must buy when it launches. I vote for a weighted top! Also: love the dynamic with you guys, and Dan’s low-key jabs have become an integral part of the WAN show for me. Thanks for the show to everyone involved! 😊
It really is nice. It's really cool to hear about and see how all these different decisions interact. If you have some understanding of accounting or business finances there are a lot of cool details they said that are different than what you would normally see. What sucks tho is that a lot of people hearing it don't understand the difference between net and gross profit, or just, anything to do with finances. So while we can appreciate it, a lot of people misunderstand it and make weird conclusions. You have people in the chat saying "30% gross profit margin!? You should spend that to give me free shipping!" or, honestly a whole list of conclusions not understanding so many things including that gross is not net. Basically just leads to a bunch of entitlement which could be a problem, or not.

for fentanyl, you can be prescribe patches for it. My mom had some in the late stage of her cancer before passing away. But we were strictly surveilled, had a nurse show up every week to not just do a checkup, but also count the patches remaining or see if there was foul play. The patch were safe, they contained the right dosage for pain, without risking overdose. But I wouldn't trust some random drug dealer with properly dosing it.

Nahh I have had plenty of problems on AWS it's just as patchy and shoddy as a regular "I made this" amateur network server. Currently using Square at 1/7th of the cost, SAME PROBLEMS :)
18:00 hardware unboxed mentioned in the 4060ti 16GB review that the "reasoning" according to nvidia was since its using a clam shell approach to double the vram (chips placed on otherside of pcb), the traces become more complex, hence the absurd $100 up charge.
They're shifting their stocks of old slow memory, along with their silicon from the last batch. Hence the 40 series, its terribly poor quality and in 4 years ALL these cards will be in bins or landfills.

Anesthesiologist and chronic pain doc here - Linus is wrong about Fentanyl not being prescribed and not being reasonable to prescribe. Transdermal patches can deliver a stable amount of drug continuously, as can subcutaneous pumps. An elderly person could be at risk trying to take pills every day (e.g. they forget they took one an hour ago, and the hour before that, and have now taken a triple dose), but a home care nurse could come once every 3 days to change their patch. Or in the case of the subcutaneous pumps, we prescribe those to palliative patients dying at home because the drug doesn't build up toxic metabolites in their system the way oral opioids do. The attitude this drug cannot be used safely is completely wrong. It's just that the ways we prescribe it safely (pumps, patches, etc) are completely different from how people use drugs recreationally. Similarly, the most important drug in all of anesthesia (propofol) is what killed Michael Jackson because you simply can't use it safely without the equipment and expert monitoring you only find in hospitals and specialized clinics.
Something you need to remember is that nvidea cards and 16gb vram makes this is objectively best GPU for ai related content, You get the highest vram possible on the 40's series card, making this way better then any used card for ai, such as stable diffusion.

Cloudflare is a pretty solid solution for offloading the bulk of CDN style content. Implementing disk and memory caching solves a lot of problems too. Most people don't expect the whole Internet to visit their little website. It usually takes several pseudo-DDoS rounds for a website owner to figure out how to solve most of their issues. I've built systems that can handle hundreds of thousands of active users on a single server but it isn't easy and requires some very clever workarounds to pull off (plus the hardware and network bandwidth has to be up to snuff). Most websites fail at a few hundred visitors just trying to pull the homepage.
Hey, so, Linus From everything I've seen you're a pretty decent boss, and I've not seen anything to suggest your employees are in dire need of unionisation But as much as I'm happy to entertain your WAN Show hot takes and usually actually find myself on the same side as them, an SME owner's opinions on trade unions are taken about as seriously by me as a lion's opinion on gazelle grazing herds Tech companies are BY FAR some of the biggest abusers of labor rights and bad faith opponents of unionisation in the whole economy. As a tech journalist it is borderline *unethical* of you to trash talk unions and then just leave the point alone like it's too complicated to elaborate on Either formulate a point that you can explain and discuss or keep it to yourself. Seriously. Peak boss behaviour and you're not even CEO anymore.
It's even funnier about Linus's absolutely terrible union take when they discuss private v. public sector benefits IMMEDIATELY afterwards. What a slap in the face.
Yeah the union take is awful and the fact he isn't seeing the value being sucked out of the top of the industry and sapped from the hard work of writers and actors, is damn near idiotic. He needs to either give real support or shut his (in This instance) uneducated mouth
Yeah I don't know why he doesn't understand that unions are angelic entities that magically make everything better and never have agendas that don't align with their members.
As a Aussie i hope you consider doing shipping promos again, even if it has to be a higher base total. I was unfortunately not in the position to dump that much cash that WAN, but usually i would have ordered all of the things ive been wanting but couldnt justify doe to the shipping costs typically.
The one case of Linus' fans rushing a service I remember is parsec and it never recovered. I'd been using it for months to play smash bros with friends and it was great with very little input lag. But the second Linus mentioned it, it got so much worse with input lag getting unbearable for playing a game like smash. Still like that now as far as I know.
That company is lazy then, Linus gave them a huuuuge influx of people and they took the money rather than expand the service. Careless that is on them!
I think Linus has a bad take on the SAG-AFTRA strikes. They have ALL the leverage. You can't starve out actors/writers that have strike funds and will be actively shutting down all of your productions until such time as they agree to a fair deal.
These people have no concept of cost versus income. None at all they will die poor after they murder all the employers dead by begging for more money than they could ever MAKE. But I see the dwarves being cut off and I think Hollywood DESERVES to die off now.
Way to completely ignore the A.I. facet of the SAG strike issue. (Scanning actors once for one day’s pay and then using their model in perpetuity without pay) Also, it wasn’t the actors who decided to produce and release expensive, unprofitable movies. 🙄
As an aussie I did my tax yesterday it took me like 20min. We use PAYG which basically takes your tax out of your paycheck automatically based on how much money the paycheck indicates tou will make by the end of the year. When the end of the year comes you log into the tax website. Add in any changes to your circumstances over the year. Add in anything that is tax deductible. Hit save. Done. Any money over paid by PAYG after your deductions and final wage has been calculated will be refunded to you. Sometimes you get a bill if for some reason you under paid buts that's pretty rare. As i said because i haven't changed jobs or anything over the year i put work expenses in and ill recieve my $500 odd of tax return in 2 weeks.
Yeah we invented that system in the 80s it was called PAYE lol back when humans could do a days work without crying about their gender confusion issues after :D
@@DailyCorvid what I love is that out of curiosity I checked you channel. And it turns out instead of spending your days doing a hard day's work and being productive. You make videos on the internet complaining about other people's genders. Turns out much like your channel, no-one cares about your opinion 🤣🤣🤣
have you thought about giving smaller websites a little heads up? something like "we'll mention you in a video in a few days, get ready for a potential 10x of your usually users"
A few points on Linus's discussion on Canadian tax: 1) Installments are required for personal taxes similar to corporated taxes if you have more than $3,000 due on filing. However for the vast majority of the people will have sufficient withholdings not to need to do so. 2) The government does pay you interest if your installment payments are more than your taxes. 3) There is absolutley not an option to not have taxes withheld from your pay because you dont want them. When setting up your payroll on Form TD1 (for Americans, it is the equivalent of the W-4) a person can check a box to tell their employer that they will have sufficient deductions and credits (or withholdings from other sources) that they will not have to pay any taxes for the year. Some people do use that to avoid withholdings, but if you aren't reasonably expecting to owe no taxes for the year checking that box and submitting it to your employer is illegal.
Let's be real, while Lindor is not the "lowest quality" - it is actually awful. It is so disgustingly sweet to the point where it creates a weird, tingly sensation in the mouth. Whenever I get some chocolate, I pick anything that's *not* made by Lindt. Ugh. If you say that Canadian chocolate is often worse, then I can't even imagine how bad it must be. 😅
I'm a franco-american and might actually prefer Hershey chocolate to Lindor. It's a close call, though. I'm the only one in my family with such a strong dislike of Lindor. I'd always take some Côté d'or, Milka (which I have childhood nostalgia for), or Ritter Sport over Lindor and it's not even remotely close.
He's not wrong that it has a really nice texture, but yeah, the flavor and sweetness are just terrible. The whole food discussion was pretty amusing. Different people have different priorities! I certainly am nowhere near owning a Taycan but can't imagine not paying for the good chocolate. Not that it even needs to be that much, in the States at least. Trader Joes has some great chocolates for like 3-5 bucks a bar.

The big releases this year aren't making money because studios are cutting costs on the screen writer side. Studios propably don't undestand this is the reason, but good writing is actually important. People who care about good writing watch the most movies and people who don't care about good writing often get their recommendations from people who care about good writing.

00:57:00 Kinda fucked that Linus as a business owner feels he should be the one to make that decision, not the employees. I get they can 'just find a new job' but seriously?
he's right though, people cannot manage finances properly for the most part, this is besides the fact that idk anyone who enjoys doing taxes, no member of staff is going to demand they do their own taxes, and for those who do, they just need to sign them up as subcontractor, so their own company, not affiliated with linus media group, because if his staff aint paying taxes at employee level, he's liable for that, this is also besides having a staff member drop out because of financial troubles when he's got a whole accounting system that can handle the taxes for everyone at his disposal it's not about "making the decision for other people" - it's about what makes logical sense.
@@bugz000Not withholding income for taxes allows employees to have more cash on hand during the course of the year in case they have unforseen expenses. hold on a minute... a little more than $3 for a Gigabyte of GDDR6 VRAM? you mean to tell me for the cost of an entire 4060 I could have 100 Gigabytes of decently fast VRAM?? obvoisuly you need the rest of the GPU to be able to support that much but still...
2:51:00 Yeah I hopped on the website to buy a $2600 16” that I had spec’d out, but unfortunately I really can’t wait 6+ months to buy my next computer unfortunately. Ended up going with a M2 Max Mac Studio (32GB/2TB), and just soldiering on with my M1 13” MBP as my portable for another cycle. I’ll try to keep up with the pre order situation for next gen framework and hopefully the release timing lines up with my needs in the future!
Can absolutely not agree more with "If you're buying something that's working, why 'unworking' it?" in terms of tech companies buying-out others only to absolutely ruin them...

There's a joke here about D-Link here which I didn't bother writing out
I'd really like to hear more from him tbh
I wish he was even more involved and got his opinion on a lot of topics. He’s much more knowledgable and qualified than people know and could contribute even more to some topics, sometimes even more than L or L.
dan's so funny i love him :)
Ah.
Makes sense.
Guess this is now a problem for every industry now then.
First they came for the adult actors now they come for the mainstream.
@@alanhilder1883 thats why you dont trust them. you take your own photocopy, and if possible, visit in person as they will treat you much better. phone calls/email/snail mail is a great way to get shit lost, stolen, or just ignored

Should’ve been here last week when they did free worldwide shipping for the show! And lost a lot of money….
Import tax is heavy too
Being in the US buying cd's & stuff from Australia was pretty cheap last time I did
It’s still not worth it in America lol

@saccaed pretty sure they wouldn't allow it anymore that's 1 of the reasons they quit nVidia is a control freak
Yep, nVidia locked the makers down, could only work on the coolers.
I didn’t even know evga offered that back in the day. Imagine the utopia we would have if nvidia let there board partners actually do stuff like add more memory to this day. People would be getting great deals! Which is what nvidia doesn’t want!

Linus being honest about the money is why I trust and respect the guy.

Hey, so, Linus
From everything I've seen you're a pretty decent boss, and I've not seen anything to suggest your employees are in dire need of unionisation
But as much as I'm happy to entertain your WAN Show hot takes and usually actually find myself on the same side as them, an SME owner's opinions on trade unions are taken about as seriously by me as a lion's opinion on gazelle grazing herds
Tech companies are BY FAR some of the biggest abusers of labor rights and bad faith opponents of unionisation in the whole economy. As a tech journalist it is borderline *unethical* of you to trash talk unions and then just leave the point alone like it's too complicated to elaborate on
Either formulate a point that you can explain and discuss or keep it to yourself. Seriously. Peak boss behaviour and you're not even CEO anymore.
It's even funnier about Linus's absolutely terrible union take when they discuss private v. public sector benefits IMMEDIATELY afterwards. What a slap in the face.
Trade Unions are for lazy good for nothings
Yeah the union take is awful and the fact he isn't seeing the value being sucked out of the top of the industry and sapped from the hard work of writers and actors, is damn near idiotic. He needs to either give real support or shut his (in This instance) uneducated mouth
You know that the "you're not CEO" take is weak
Thanks for the update on the cable management gear. I've been looking forward to that for a while.
Way to completely ignore the A.I. facet of the SAG strike issue. (Scanning actors once for one day’s pay and then using their model in perpetuity without pay)
Also, it wasn’t the actors who decided to produce and release expensive, unprofitable movies. 🙄
Total lack of responsibility. They need to get new jobs now, they've murdered Hollywood. It was a cesspit anyway.
As an aussie I did my tax yesterday it took me like 20min.

A few points on Linus's discussion on Canadian tax:
1) Installments are required for personal taxes similar to corporated taxes if you have more than $3,000 due on filing.
Dude, I had no clue Luke was the one who made the forum back in the day. The forum is still pretty slick (get it xD) and up there from a search engine from time to time.
I got the black shaft full size!!!! Love it. Its wearing down, but i love the well used look!!!
*_'Look what you do with your shaft is your business, but I don't need to hear about how overused it is already!'_* LOL. I'm sure that's what you meant :D
Omg a Feastables x LTT collaboration would be epic, we need this to happen
01:50:40 Try one based of pea protein - it is the closest you get to a milk-like drink and you can even use it like milk in baking and cooking. We have a brand named "Vly" here in Germany and their non sugared one is excellent - no Ad!
been catching up with the WAN show these past couple of days... went to medicat to checkout if anything else happened and now Linus is their background image lmao
Rare Linus L, but an understandable ideological limitation coming from a Capitalist. Unions *are* actually one if those rare "black & white issues", in roughly the same way that voting rights & democracy are. Yes, the issue is "complicated" & not all unions are good, but unions are as a golden rule, a good thing.
Divided we beg, united we bargian.
Can I just say, I love sassy nick on the phone calls.
4060 ti 16GB is pretty great for stable diffusion. And other AI tasks. It's the lowest price 16gb GPU you can get with CUDA.
Thank you for supporting the WGA and SAG!
Luke should make a seed based food that's delicious for birds and humans.
In Australia pay as you go tax is mandatory for full time employees. Because the ATO got sick of having to set up payment plans for people who’d spent all their income as it landed and couldn’t pay 25% of their annual income in 1 hit.
59:37 Not sure exactly what happened, but Luke seemed like he could have been less passive aggressive to Dan.
2:33:18 Nick is a gem here
Absolutely, I'm dying of laughter over here.
1:02:35 I'm going to use that the next time I mar a client's wall / floor / ceiling during an install: "I show my work"
it would be very useful to know how compatible the precision driver is with the storage in ifixit toolkits. they have two drivers which are similar but slightly different (plastic/metal)
If they're close but not quite the same it would be nice if LTT could offer replacement foam inserts for the kits. Though I can't remember if the originals are glued in or not.
@@TheAkashicTraveller just checked mine, it's not glued. also the driver would probably fit but would ruin the form fit of the foam so it would be a tradeoff
"it might depend on where you worked in the public sector". Luke's hardon for NASA continues 😅
The big releases this year aren't making money because studios are cutting costs on the screen writer side. Studios propably don't undestand this is the reason, but good writing is actually important. People who care about good writing watch the most movies and people who don't care about good writing often get their recommendations from people who care about good writing.
I miss the 2010s when you'd get alternate versions of cards from board partners with double the memory, like the 6GB 7970s and stuff
Waiting for timestamp guy for this literally unwatchable 3.5 hour WAN show
You new here? Lol these long ones seems to be the new normal.
unwatchable?? its just enough to keep me busy all week until the next wan show
@@whiteb68 still waiting for the return of the 5 hour Wan show.
Wan show must never end
@@MichaelOfRohan I get the feeling that the joke is that it is actually far too short.
Don’t know if Linus knows this but I used to get fentanyl patches for my pain management but it gave me wicked headaches so switched back to oxycontin. Been on opiods since 2007 for my spine pain and nerve pain. You Canadians are weird.
Where the fuck is last nights wan show??
Keep your customers/fans happy, and they'll be there for you.
Lol. I show up as it ends.
Don't think you can get much better at industrial/lab Xrays than Zeiss. My Granddad and Father worked for them as service technicians and fine mechanics, unbelievable precision, reliability and attention to every single detail
00:57:00 Kinda fucked that Linus as a business owner feels he should be the one to make that decision, not the employees. I get they can 'just find a new job' but seriously?
he's right though, people cannot manage finances properly for the most part, this is besides the fact that idk anyone who enjoys doing taxes, no member of staff is going to demand they do their own taxes, and for those who do, they just need to sign them up as subcontractor, so their own company, not affiliated with linus media group, because if his staff aint paying taxes at employee level, he's liable for that, this is also besides having a staff member drop out because of financial troubles when he's got a whole accounting system that can handle the taxes for everyone at his disposal
it's not about "making the decision for other people" - it's about what makes logical sense.
@@bugz000Not withholding income for taxes allows employees to have more cash on hand during the course of the year in case they have unforseen expenses. If someone is able to manage their own money they're better off doing it themselves and being better equiped for when life throws them a curve ball.
@@fire_tower i can tell you've never once filed your own taxes... managing finances/taxes/insurance/other and building savings are two very different things, heck even my 5 yr old son can (and does) save money, he's actually got more saved than i do currently lol...
but back to the point - i don't know anyone who demands to file their own taxes, that's why there's an entire trade called accounting where you can hand that off to a company to file it for you... and did you read my comment? if someone truly wants to file it, he'd just put them as subcontractor, it's possible, but linus media group does not offer this themselves, subcontract nulls all liability
Same GPU with different memory configs actually did exist in the past. There was a GTX260 from Sparkle with either 896MB or 1792MB of VRAM for example.
Timestamp guy where are you😂
He retired.
Imagine buying a precision driver and not getting any bits with it lol

Dude. I had a 386 built into my desk when I was in middle school back in 1992. I carried upgrades through till I completed high school in 2000. I kinda miss it and was considering doing it again recently now that I am employed.
Totally Legit 1st Comment
At around 51:50 when they're talking about Fentanyl. It actually CAN be prescribed as take home (albeit likely very rarely).
When my dad was awaiting his MAID confirmation (late stage ALS) he was prescribed these lil syringes with small amounts of fentanyl in them for relief.
Again: rare, but can happen. Realistically it's probably very rare, so it might as well not be given outside of hospitals.
Holy shit haha Nick just talking shit to Linus when Linus asked how much they lost hahaha That was amazing
Love the picture of Linus on the Medicat USB website. lol
hold on a minute... a little more than $3 for a Gigabyte of GDDR6 VRAM?
you mean to tell me for the cost of an entire 4060 I could have 100 Gigabytes of decently fast VRAM??
obvoisuly you need the rest of the GPU to be able to support that much but still...
I was Struck by the thought of owning a furry friend of my own. Just shows you, every body had a great time
2:51:00 Yeah I hopped on the website to buy a $2600 16” that I had spec’d out, but unfortunately I really can’t wait 6+ months to buy my next computer unfortunately. Ended up going with a M2 Max Mac Studio (32GB/2TB), and just soldiering on with my M1 13” MBP as my portable for another cycle.
I’ll try to keep up with the pre order situation for next gen framework and hopefully the release timing lines up with my needs in the future!
Can absolutely not agree more with
"If you're buying something that's working, why 'unworking' it?" in terms of tech companies buying-out others only to absolutely ruin them...
From Farron Cousins (Farron Balanced, Ring of Fire): If you have a state law and a federal law overlapping, the state law takes precedence, unless you are on federal property, then federal law takes precedence. If either one does not have a law, but the other one has, the law that exists is in effect.
You guys really should try more chocolate from the UK and Europe. You sound so deprived. You must be able to get it imported surely.
