Hi! I’m Valeria - a writer, content creator, and the visionary behind Dramatically Expatic. With a background in TV, where I hosted my own program (think a bit more formal than my current UA-cam adventures), I now thrive on the dynamic and creative freedom of the web. As an expat in Italy for eight years and counting, I hold a BA in Theatre and Film Studies and an MSc in Media Organisation from the University of Bologna. I have always had a huge passion for discovering new places, having traveled all around the world since I was a child, so there were no second thoughts when searching for my niche. Here I share my best advice on visiting Italy, budget travel tips to Italy, and all things living in Italy entails!

The Italians talk and think about food all the time. I am like that as well, and I am super slim. Great video! Thank you. 😊

When I was in Rome we loved the food there. It was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.

I thank that even the college students in Italy are pretty superstitious; in almost every university there's a forbidden place where usually you shouldn't walk through not run the risk not to get a degree. I guess also in Bologna University there is something like that.

      Same in Germany 👋😄
..also we do call people who did sth stupid "wood head" (in a friendly way it's not per se an insult). Over time we combined those two and so it happens that in cases there is no wood near you when you gotta knock on it we knock on our head instead 😁👍 *true story *

Hello, I just found your UA-cam channel (???). So exited to have found you💞. My wife and met in Verona in 1960. She is American but of Italian descent. In fact she and our children just applied for Italian citizenship!!! Anyway, watching your video I had to laugh. As a family we still eat at 8:00PM and of our diet is totally Mediterranean with the freshest ingredients😋. My grandson’s Nico and Luca are always ready to eat Nanna’s goodies. In fact they have become quite skilled at making lasagna and baked Ziti with her. And of course Sfogliotelle and homemade sausages and Salumi. Look forward to your channel and finding you on Instagram. Such a joy💞. Grazie Mille!!!
