Somehow I feel that this is THE ONLY EXERCISE that truly helps and you can feel the difference in singing RIGHT AWAY. I had a lot of problems with tension. I better keep doing these exercises. WOW!

I've smoked for 20 years, methol. Voice was almost completely gone. Day 2 I hit some notes I haven't heard in ages! I'm encouraged. This is now my regimen daily. Thank you for this.
I've been taking singing lessons for two years and I feel that I haven't made any progress. I will start this exercise today and do it for 30 days. I will come every day to tell you how I am doing, if I improved or not (I need to improve to be able to graduate in August 2023 ie this year). Today/day 1: it's a challenge🤯 I have done it 2 times today. Day 1✅ 5/3/2023 Day 2 ✅ 6/3/2023 🤯 Day 3 ✅ 7/3/2023 I notice a great improvement in my shoulders, jaw and neck that were tense. (It is worth mentioning that my voice feels more relaxed when I sang today before doing the exercise) I did it for the third time now. Day 4✅ 8/3/2023 today I did it 3 times, in the morning while I was in the bathroom, in the afternoon at about 1 p.m. and then at 4/5 p.m. It's amazing this exercise, I don't feel any tension, my voice has more body and I can sing some high notes better. (Accompanied this exercise with some other exercises from this same channel and other exercises, according to what I think my voice needs). I drink more water than usual. I sleep better and I sleep longer. I also eat better. Day 5✅ 9/3/2023 I did in the morning. I realized that my voice needed a break. Day 6 ✅ 10/3/2023 In August, God willing, it will be the graduation concert, and I will be practicing every day until then. Day 7 ✅ 11/3/2023 Officially one week. Day 8 ✅ 13/3/2023 Done. This does make your voice stronger, especially 3 times a 5 days a week morn aft and late evening, After 5 days your voice improves 20 -25% easily, And because you know your voice wont crack, you sing with a open throat but its important to have 2 days of complete vocal rest if your also singing or doing other karaoke or other forms of vocal exercises, It's important to avoid fatigue that rest and water are incorporated into your vocal conditioning, Been doing this on and off since September with another vocal conditioning workout and the results are amazing, getting massive applause at karaoke nights and im definitely improved by 100% hitting those high notes

This is phenomenal! Been working with this for 5 days now and I have noticed so damn much increase of breathing support and vocal power. Everyone who wants to improve singing skill (fast) should go and get their SOVT Straw asap. I'm totally blown away. Thanks Jacob for pointing out on this 🤩🤩🤩
@@jerrymcdougle4461 I guess they're permanent but if you lack on doing excercises for a while they might decrease like muscle training. I'm doing this (and other SOVT Straw exercises) since June sometimes more and sometimes less and I can say this is by far the best training method for singing I found.
@@jerrymcdougle4461 it's ways stronger but the very best thing is reaching the higher notes without straining. It's not just a commercial gag its a fact. As I said I'm doing this since June now and I'm still impressed, you will feel it the first time you use your SOVT Straw. Give it a try, if u serious with your voice development the few bucks it costs is nothing in comparison. But nevertheless it's just my personal opinion, I'm practicing singing for a little over 2 years now and tried alot but this is by far the most efficient way for improving my voice I found so far. Hope you get what I mean since I'm not english speaking lol
Well I've been doing this for about 45 days now and it definitely helped me go much higher, but the best part would really just be that I strain less when singing higher notes. I don't choke as much and that allows me to push further which is where the higher notes really come in. Definitely recommend this, its probably the best vocal exercise video out there for quick results.
2 questions, what type of straw are you using? (soda/standard, coffee/sip, boba/,) and has this got you to like blend past your break / unlock mixed voice?
@@WillBuildsStuff I am currently using a pen case because it has a super small opening in the end. It might be hard for you to do that but I have just been working my way up in difficulty. Just try to find a type of straw that is slightly difficult for you to blow through. Then work your way up every 2-3 weeks And it has definitely helped a ton with my mixed voice. I am able to breeze through from my chest mixed and head voice. I have also been pairing this with the "10 minute mixed voice" exercise video. Feel free to ask me any more questions because I have gone through a ton of these videos and found the ones that help the most. (at least for me)
I can't thank you guys enough for how much these exercises helps me. It's been just a week since I started this particular exercise and I've already seen a real good improvement ..Thank you so much❤😄 this has boosted up my confidence on a different level

I just bought my straws~ Doing this everyday starting March 27, 2023: D1: Done ✅ D2: Done ✅ I notice my jaw tensing by moving forward during the exercises and I mindfully relax it when I feel it. Still cracking my voice at high notes T^T D3: Done ✅ The glides are more easy now, I don’t crack as much! But I do kinda feel strained after doing it. Maybe the straw is too narrow? -2 weeks break- gotten so busy but I alwys try to do siren whenever I see my straw. D4: Done ✅ I feel strained after doing this. Maybe bc it’s been awhile or I am putting too much effort in exhaling thru the straw.
Reminder that using your head voice is ok! Try to bridge the gap. Also, using a straw with water at the other end is more therapeutic and massaging for your voice while using it dry is more of a workout and stretch.
Going to try this 0:40 (I started this 1 day before making this comment) Day 59 tip: with the second exercise I found easy for me to breathe after 4 notes D68 tip: don't practice these w/your chin touching your chest. This is to keep an open throat which = more power D86 tip: practice gamakas and hum(within your range) if the video is going beyond your range(humming is a recovery exercise) Day one is done Day two I needed a break due to doing this once by myself and once with my mother on day one Day three done Day four done Day five done Day six done Day seven done Day eight done Day nine done(discovered the exercises (mostly the glides) are done easily with the sliding of the tongue down and back and back to it's normal position) D10 done(figured the abbreviation was more pleasing and suitable) D11 missed( I was watching a gawr gura stream(she's my inspiration) and i was doing cardio)) D12 done (everything is glides) anyone have any tips for me to improve faster? Been doing this for a week with a regular straw and it has worked amazing!!!!!! I was sad about my voice before because it was always to weak and shaky, but not anymore!!! ❤❤
I use this tech in my daily routine. TRULY AN AMAZING WORKOUT FOR EXTREME VOCALS. (This also works with the mouth close to a tight O if you don't have a straw).
Yes! I'm glad to hear you're not only doing a visual video, but what about straws which have become such a big deal recently. I look forward to working with this video!
Yep. I wanted to put an explainer kind of video out first so that anyone interested can learn about how it works. This one is just straight to the point and fully practical. And some of the exercises are intentionally challenging. :)
Could you make an interval warm up video with specific numbers in a scale? Ex. 1 3 5 7 5 3 1. I know you have one to sing vowels over, but I’d like to work on being able to switch keys easily without needing to know the notes, and rather just knowing the intervals. Thank you :)

1. When am I supposed to breathe during the second exercise? 2. My lips get really tense after a while. Isn’t tension in your face/ lips/ jaws something to be avoided when singing? Pretty new to vocals, any input is welcome!
1. After 2 notes, 1x2 *breathe* 2x3 *breathe* 3x3 *breathe* 2. I like to do lip trills after the exercise which helps Again, I’m not an expert at this, but this is just what works for me 👍
Yessss! That's one of my favourite benefits. And I've had performers use these techniques in the wings just before they're about to go on stage too. You can pretty much do it anywhere!
i've been watching videos and reading stuff about how much straw exercises can improve your voice, so i decided to go at it and actually start them, this is my third day doing this
is it bad when my throat hurts a little bit and my voice is a little more hoarse than before or is my voice just tired after doing many of these straw exercises ?
You should stop right away if it starts straining your voice. It's not good. Start next day with proper reasearch. Remember, a little strain can also harm your voice.
@@candyKane117i it has helped me a lot with my "mixed voice" notes in the middle have become so much easier, my tone is a clearer, my pitch is more accurate
@@WolfIIzarean This is not super important. Just making sound through the straw/placing your voice forward, through the straw, is the most important. Focus on that, less of making an actual V sound.
Wont injure the vocal folds but if you over work it will become tired and fatigue ,a intense 30 minute workout should always be followed by at least 2 hrs rest
It's upto your preference but if you're having difficulties in the breathing section in 2nd exercise I suggest you to lower the playback speed a little around 0.75x
Hey, sorry for the delay. The best way is to start by making a "vvv" buzzing sound without the straw, then, slowly move the straw into position, whilst maintaining the sound. This'll allow you to feel and understand how to correctly make the sound so that you can do it first time every time. :)
I have problem with my vocal cords since 2019 and I need to quit my vocal lessons via moving out to city. Now is time to come back to my vocal journey. I work with Doctor Vox Pocket Ok Let's Go: 02.08.2023 DAY 1: I can't do high notes so i switch to falsetto on it. I feel too much tensionbecause I put in too much water to pocket.
@@shonie08 I know that's the base for breathing in singing training, I meant that the exercise is continuos and fast without any pause; the comment didn't meant that I specifically needed advice, I can do it because I've been singing for a while, but a beginner stumbling in this video may find him/herself short of breath and that is always a bad thing, because it means possible strain. Also the range of these exercises is huge and it touches incredibly high notes, another alarm for possible straining in unexperienced singers that do not understand their limits.
Yes, you can indeed. Just be mindful that the degree to which these effects occur are dependent on the resistance of the straw and its length. Individual differences mean that a single straw cannot be applied to all voices, and they're also task dependent too. You might find that you need a narrower straw to get a better workout, you might also find that you need a longer/shorter straw too. Really play around and explore what works for you, and be mindful about choosing a length and aperture configuration that'll suit your voice and your unique vocal needs. Our SOVT Straw is specifically engineered to maximise the airflow and pressure interactions, providing the most benefits for your voice - but you can certainly start out with a regular straw too. :)

HEY GUYS & JVA! Testimony. I have done these for a few weeks now consistentl;y as well as other other vocal warm ups from this channel. Yesterday I sang for some people and they all complimented my voice!!! HAHA me!! Who used to sound like a dying bat. They even asked for covers!!!!!!
You should sort the sub bass on that background music, it’s so loud if you have a decent speaker system when watching this video. Sure it’s fine on phones and small speakers but so intrusive on speakers with good bass response
Sing ever once in a while and if your singing sounds better that the last time then its improving🤗but also remember your voice wont change in a day or day or two you need to be dedicated
These exercises will also passively work the core and respiratory muscles too - so you might feel like you've been to a gym. That's good thing as you're building physical strength and endurance which will help with your overall vocal efficiency.
Do these exercises ever have any lip movement? (Not sure how one would do that...) Or are we always just kind of doing straight oo vowels as one would through a kazoo? Is all the vvvvv sound we are hearing merely the near-mic "vocal fry-ish" sound through the straw?
Yes, when done correctly, doing these exercises will build amazing breath support. (Pulling the abs up like a sharp "puh" sound and further magnifying the voice by bringing the chest into the equation(very important the shoulders and trapezius muscles don't raise; The chest should be moving outward)
Mobin Khademi my advice is to combine these vids with a good vocal coach - if not in person, then watch lots of UA-cam tutorials, to try and get a grip on the purpose of the exercises. With time, you’ll be able to diagnose your voices weaknesses, and specifically choose exercises to target that. Until then, keep on doing a variety of exercises - lip rolls on a scale, can’t go wrong.
I am just beginning "vocal training" with a speech and language therapist.I am aiming to strengthen my voice as I age (I'm old), and I want to not go raspy when speaking to a large crowd. She gave me this website to look at before our first session. I wish I could SEE the person making these sounds, since I don't exactly know what you are doing. Am I to be sending sound THRU the straw? When I do that, my voice seems weak and high pitched. I'm flummoxed with how the straw sounding will help my loudness.
Thank you so much for these videos! They’ve really been a blessing to me over the years. Please keep going! Your hard work is not in vain, and is blessing millions. God bless you! And Jesus loves you🫶🏽 Thank you!
I cannot offer you medical advice, however, I can say that straw phonation exercises are trusted by speech and language therapists as a rehabilitative aid. I would recommend speaking with an SLT to build a regime that's going to aid in your specific rehab case.
Somehow I feel that this is THE ONLY EXERCISE that truly helps and you can feel the difference in singing RIGHT AWAY. I had a lot of problems with tension. I better keep doing these exercises. WOW!
how is it going though?
how did you do the vvv sound
@@WolfIIzarean Try with a thinner straw! First I did it with a wider one but it didn't work. Anyway, I think that the microphone amplifies the out breath vvvv
I've smoked for 20 years, methol. Voice was almost completely gone. Day 2 I hit some notes I haven't heard in ages! I'm encouraged. This is now my regimen daily. Thank you for this.
Same here
I've been taking singing lessons for two years and I feel that I haven't made any progress.
I will start this exercise today and do it for 30 days. I will come every day to tell you how I am doing, if I improved or not (I need to improve to be able to graduate in August 2023 ie this year).
Today/day 1: it's a challenge🤯
I have done it 2 times today.
Day 1✅
5/3/2023
Day 2 ✅
6/3/2023 🤯
Day 3 ✅
7/3/2023
I notice a great improvement in my shoulders, jaw and neck that were tense. (It is worth mentioning that my voice feels more relaxed when I sang today before doing the exercise) I did it for the third time now.
Day 4✅
8/3/2023
today I did it 3 times, in the morning while I was in the bathroom, in the afternoon at about 1 p.m. and then at 4/5 p.m.
Day 5✅
9/3/2023
I did in the morning.
I realized that my voice needed a break.
Day 6 ✅
10/3/2023
In August, God willing, it will be the graduation concert, and I will be practicing every day until then.

up
respect the dedication
Can you share your email such that you can share with me other exercises you are doing please? Love your dedication
This does make your voice stronger, especially 3 times a 5 days a week morn aft and late evening,
After 5 days your voice improves 20
-25% easily,
And because you know your voice wont crack, you sing with a open throat but its important to have 2 days of complete vocal rest if your also singing or doing other karaoke or other forms of vocal exercises,
It's important to avoid fatigue that rest and water are incorporated into your vocal conditioning,
Been doing this on and off since September with another vocal conditioning workout and the results are amazing, getting massive applause at karaoke nights and im definitely improved by 100% hitting those high notes
My voice just cracks and sounds like a broken kazoo when I reach the ends of the first two exercises. How do I avoid it? Do you have any tips?
Why does singing feel so good after doing this? To think I've had straws in my house this whole time and haven't been making V sounds through them!
🤣😂ditto. Wasted multifunctional straws 😁
Did you ever warm up before
i guess I'm kind of off topic but do anybody know a good place to stream newly released tv shows online?

Update please
What about now?, do you only use a straw to vocal exercise?
This is phenomenal! Been working with this for 5 days now and I have noticed so damn much increase of breathing support and vocal power. Everyone who wants to improve singing skill (fast) should go and get their SOVT Straw asap. I'm totally blown away. Thanks Jacob for pointing out on this 🤩🤩🤩
Doing this for over a month now and I'm still impressed. It's insane how your singing skill increases if u put a little effort in it!
Are the results permanent or have to continue doing them?
@@jerrymcdougle4461 I guess they're permanent but if you lack on doing excercises for a while they might decrease like muscle training. I'm doing this (and other SOVT Straw exercises) since June sometimes more and sometimes less and I can say this is by far the best training method for singing I found.
@@dr3tagewach ok good. So is your singing stronger ?
Definitely recommend this, its probably the best vocal exercise video out there for quick results.
do you notice a lasting change in your voice when you speak after doing this?
@@steve00alt70 Not at all, it just sort of makes singing more natural not really changing anything.
@@steve00alt70 Are you trying to change your voice? Because I dont really think theres a way to do that
2 questions, what type of straw are you using? (soda/standard, coffee/sip, boba/,) and has this got you to like blend past your break / unlock mixed voice?
@@WillBuildsStuff I am currently using a pen case because it has a super small opening in the end. It might be hard for you to do that but I have just been working my way up in difficulty. Just try to find a type of straw that is slightly difficult for you to blow through. Then work your way up every 2-3 weeks
And it has definitely helped a ton with my mixed voice.

@@Jacobsvocalacademy Hi coach 😙. Can we have another challenge like this plz? it's always interesting to try this type of challenge because we develop good performance. 🎤🎵🎶❤❤❤
I just bought my straws~ Doing this everyday starting March 27, 2023:
D1: Done ✅
D2: Done ✅ I notice my jaw tensing by moving forward during the exercises and I mindfully relax it when I feel it. Still cracking my voice at high notes T^T
D3: Done ✅ The glides are more easy now, I don’t crack as much!
Its important to use a wider straw if using water, if using a thin straw in water 💧 the pressure will be too much
Great advice. Thanx!
@GirlWithnail your welcome, also a cheap metal straw is extremely advantageous over a paper one,
My whole head was resonating...so cool...thank you so much!!
Going to try this 0:40 (I started this 1 day before making this comment)
Day 59 tip: with the second exercise I found easy for me to breathe after 4 notes
D68 tip: don't practice these w/your chin touching your chest. This is to keep an open throat which = more power
D86 tip: practice gamakas and hum(within your range) if the video is going beyond your range(humming is a recovery exercise)

Do you know how to do the vvv sound through the straw?
Could you make an interval warm up video with specific numbers in a scale? Ex. 1 3 5 7 5 3 1. I know you have one to sing vowels over, but I’d like to work on being able to switch keys easily without needing to know the notes, and rather just knowing the intervals. Thank you :)

1. When am I supposed to breathe during the second exercise?
2. My lips get really tense after a while. Isn’t tension in your face/ lips/ jaws something to be avoided when singing?
Pretty new to vocals, any input is welcome!
Same questions here
I feel the same way
1. After 2 notes, 1x2 *breathe* 2x3 *breathe* 3x3 *breathe*
2. I like to do lip trills after the exercise which helps
Again, I’m not an expert at this, but this is just what works for me 👍
@@Tori-b3o3g what does this meeeeeean 1x2 breathe etc?? been searching endlessly for answers on how and when to breathe in the second exercise
Thats a good idea thank you!, replace it with raspberry trills
Wow this is my first try and after doing the exercise, I felt that my voice became stronger. I'll do this exercise. Huhu thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this, now I can vocalize without disturbing my neighbors 😅
Yessss! That's one of my favourite benefits. And I've had performers use these techniques in the wings just before they're about to go on stage too. You can pretty much do it anywhere!
👍My thoughts! 😂
i've been watching videos and reading stuff about how much straw exercises can improve your voice, so i decided to go at it and actually start them, this is my third day doing this
Could you tell me how you do the vvv sound?

really helps to getting used to using diaphragm.. this is a strong exercise.
is it normal to get physically exhausted in the second exercise? that part was rough
Yeah it's exhausting at first but you'll get the hang of it the more you do it then it won't be so bad. 😁
@@blairbear4tw thanks! that was the most exhausting vocal exercise I've ever done lol
is it bad when my throat hurts a little bit and my voice is a little more hoarse than before or is my voice just tired after doing many of these straw exercises ?
Are you a beginner? If so, just rest your voice. Most likely just tired if you’re a beginner because your vocal cord isn’t used to being used that way
You should stop right away if it starts straining your voice. It's not good. Start next day with proper reasearch. Remember, a little strain can also harm your voice.
My head hurt
Tip: do warm ups and prep before attempting this.
Really thank you so much for all the exercises!! 💕

Could you tell me how you do the vvv sound?
@@WolfIIzarean This is not super important. Just making sound through the straw/placing your voice forward, through the straw, is the most important. Focus on that, less of making an actual V sound.
it feels so good to sing after this
Is it possible to over do the straw exercise and actually injure the vocal folds?
Wont injure the vocal folds but if you over work it will become tired and fatigue ,a intense 30 minute workout should always be followed by at least 2 hrs rest
So thankful
This exercise is amazing!!
Thank you 😁
Could you tell me how you do the vvv sound?
just a quick question, how are we supposed to time our breaths during the 2nd exercise or is it personal preference?? thank you!
It's upto your preference but if you're having difficulties in the breathing section in 2nd exercise I suggest you to lower the playback speed a little around 0.75x
Hello Leo, the breathing video of this channel helped me a lot.
Good question
How do you make that v sound with the straw still in your mouth, I can’t seem to do it. Anyone please help
Hey, sorry for the delay. The best way is to start by making a "vvv" buzzing sound without the straw, then, slowly move the straw into position, whilst maintaining the sound. This'll allow you to feel and understand how to correctly make the sound so that you can do it first time every time. :)
SOVT Straw thank you very much!
This is awesome many many thanks

Thank you so much...😊👍👍👍
oh my voice is back! thank you
what to do when we can't reach the higher notes, do we have to do it over and over until we are stable or is there another exercice to do before ?
Can I use a regular straw for this?
I sounded like a kazoo at some point 😂
That's okay! That's just the sounds resonating through your straw and within the vocal tract. It's a good sign.
XD bro no cap that's true HAHA
Thank very much you saved my life.

On that 2nd exercise at least give some breathing tips
daniel Loni breath from your diaphragm your chest or shoulders shouldn’t go up, your stomach should go up and down
@@shonie08 I know that's the base for breathing in singing training, I meant that the exercise is continuos and fast without any pause; the comment didn't meant that I specifically needed advice, I can do it because I've been singing for a while, but a beginner stumbling in this video may find him/herself short of breath and that is always a bad thing, because it means possible strain. Also the range of these exercises is huge and it touches incredibly high notes, another alarm for possible straining in unexperienced singers that do not understand their limits.
I need help this is exactly what I m struggling with. It goes so fast I run out of breath
I try to catch my breath at the top of each scale before going downward again. That's the only way I can do it LOL
Can't do it in one go, I always pause in the middle for 30 seconds and then resume again. And i've been singing for while
Can i just use a regular and standard drinking straw? I'm broke as hell and that's the only thing that i could find 😂
You can change the resistance at any moment by simply putting your plastic straw deeper or more shallow in your glass of water.
Or use bic inner tube
At the second exercise i stared drooling from the straw 💀💀

should I warm up before this or not?

Love it much appreciated but how did u expect us to BREATH thru these exercises
How to we make the vvv sound and how is it different from the normal sound? Like how do we position our mouth to make the vvv sound?
I put water in it, I feel like it's much easier and effective
HEY GUYS & JVA! Testimony. I have done these for a few weeks now consistentl;y as well as other other vocal warm ups from this channel. Yesterday I sang for some people and they all complimented my voice!!! HAHA me!! Who used to sound like a dying bat. They even asked for covers!!!!!!
You should sort the sub bass on that background music, it’s so loud if you have a decent speaker system when watching this video. Sure it’s fine on phones and small speakers but so intrusive on speakers with good bass response
I've been doin more than 2 months and I felt improve my voice more raspy and more deeper .
Thanks for the an awesome video❤️.
Wow congratulations 🤩
a raspy and deeper voice is not a good result after practice.
How to know that I'm improving in singing please tell me 🙏🙏🙏
Sing ever once in a while and if your singing sounds better that the last time then its improving🤗but also remember your voice wont change in a day or day or two you need to be dedicated
Listen to your own older recordings. If u cringe, u know you improved
Install pitch monitor app.. if u r singing correct notes, it will be appear in the app the same pitch
The quality of your singing will become better and you won't feel any discomfort or strain while singing in your throat
Record yourself on a weekly basis and listen
Thank you once again 😇😊
You are welcome 😁
Do you know how to do the vvv sound through the straw?
Thank you so much JVA ...It helps me alot.......
You are welcome 😁 i’m glad you like it
Why do these feel like core exercises
These exercises will also passively work the core and respiratory muscles too - so you might feel like you've been to a gym. That's good thing as you're building physical strength and endurance which will help with your overall vocal efficiency.
Anita O'Day used to train with a medicine ball so you tell us...
Cause you have a weak core.
Do these exercises ever have any lip movement? (Not sure how one would do that...) Or are we always just kind of doing straight oo vowels as one would through a kazoo? Is all the vvvvv sound we are hearing merely the near-mic "vocal fry-ish" sound through the straw?
Does this exercise helps to built breath support too?
Yes, when done correctly, doing these exercises will build amazing breath support. (Pulling the abs up like a sharp "puh" sound and further magnifying the voice by bringing the chest into the equation(very important the shoulders and trapezius muscles don't raise; The chest should be moving outward)

Thanks I just got one and I’m new to this
Eould you give us a plan for in what order we should do exercises
I don't my a single video i mean generally for example this video and then those videos and then that
Mobin Khademi my advice is to combine these vids with a good vocal coach - if not in person, then watch lots of UA-cam tutorials, to try and get a grip on the purpose of the exercises. With time, you’ll be able to diagnose your voices weaknesses, and specifically choose exercises to target that. Until then, keep on doing a variety of exercises - lip rolls on a scale, can’t go wrong.

I be been using the outer case of an old biro. Works well just watch for the spittle drips on the carpet.
I'm flummoxed with how the straw sounding will help my loudness.
am I supposed to be using my normal voice?
Hey can you make videos for certain vocal problems, like breathiness

Would you recommend these exercises to help singers with polyps on their vocal cords?
I cannot offer you medical advice, however, I can say that straw phonation exercises are trusted by speech and language therapists as a rehabilitative aid. I would recommend speaking with an SLT to build a regime that's going to aid in your specific rehab case.
