He was of pure Númenor descent. And raised by Elrond. Númenor was mightiest of all men to ever live and why their lifespans were so long. With the knowledge of the elves he was very gifted.
@@Ar-Pharazon21Nah you’re wrong, Elrond and Elros are twin brothers, both half elven, obviously Aragon is a descendant of elros, which also makes him related to Elrond, which also makes him related to his own wife Arwen, I can’t remember the proper back story but Aragon is also descendant of the maia
Aragorn directly descended from Elros first king of Numenor, who chose to be counted among men, who was also Elrond’s brother. Which kinda makes Arwen his very distant relative.
Aragorn isn’t just any Numenorian, he his a descendant of Elros, he has Elven, Human and Maiar blood, he his a descendant of Eärendil, Beren and Lucien. The house of Barahir. The man has a destiny that can’t be broken. He restored the line of kings, when non other could. He became High king again, after so many failed to be only King of Gondor or Arnor, he reunited both kingdoms, rebuilt them to their former glory. And he was humble and made fast friendships.
And why Sauron was afraid that Aragorn had taken the One Ring from the Hobbit (Pippin) that Sauron had seen the Palantir. He was frightened because Saruman wasn't answering his calls and so he mistakenly assumed that Aragorn had disposed of Saruman and taken the Ring from the Hobbit. Which would have made Aragorn a very real threat. Gandalf and Aragorn used this as strategy. Sauron rushed to send his troops into battle because he feared that Aragorn might be able to sway more Men to his side using the Ring. This provided cover for Frodo and Sam, since Sauron was looking for the Ring in the wrong place.
Not to diminish Aragorn's esteemed abilities in healing, demonstrated in his treatment of those who were seriously injured during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, esp. those who were injured by the Nazgul. However, he could not save Frodo, so he took Frodo to the true Master, Elrond, who saved and healed him to the greatest extent that anyone could after being stabbed by a Nazgul blade. Of course it helps that Elrond is over 6,000 years old.
As the last remaining descendant of the greatest and most noble royal bloodline of Men, Aragorn had all the passive perks maxed out by default from character selection: valour, diplomacy, leadership and charisma.
A Lord of the rings anime would have been better than Amazons rings of power. I reckon some things just doesn’t translate onto live action. Jackson managed it and it was a miracle.
Ok honestly why do we not have an aragorn prequel origin story movie at this point cause i could see all this being a movie all it's own all about aragorns childhood and the adventures he went on before the war for the ring started
@@nimrath the "cleansing of the temple" passage is probably the closest the Bible ever got to that. Not quite the same as taking up the sword, but still kinda badass

And gladriel is his grandmother in law.
Yeah as a 35th cousin. Something like that
Simpler, as he was raised by Elrond she's his stepsister

Literally raised by his ancestral, uncle. Aragorn is such a cool character.

A open world game on Aragorn would’ve been great
Shadow of mordor basically 😂
@ lets be real if you know the books of aragorn, u know he was with the dunedain, not mordor
Aragorn’s Quest. Basically, Sam tells his kids The Lord of the Rings but only from Aragorn’s point of view
He was also the descendent of Elrond’s twin brother Elros who became the first numenorian king.
So technically him being with Arwen was incest?

Aragorn appears to have been designed as a character that justifies monarchy itself.
Galadriel: "who is this man who courts my granddaughter?"
Aragorn: "I have many names."

There's one coming out in December, then a new live action film in 2026.

No anime, just art - Although there is a LOTR Anime coming out soon called The War of the Rohirrim
