I've had this mattress for about 3-4 months now, and I feel like I can comfortably rate this mattress. For some background: I'm a small person, 5 4" at 140lbs. I got the 11" luxury firm full size mattress with a foundation. I wanted a firm, bouncy bed, since I toss and turn A LOT throughout the night and memory foam beds are awful for that. Overall, I'm quite happy with this bed. The edges are nice and firm so sitting on the edge is good. The bed is most comfortable on your stomach or back, but with the right pillow, side positions are good too. It's just bouncy enough to let me toss and turn while still providing accurate support. My only complaint is it's not a very cool mattress, so I would recommend using some breathable sheets and cooling pillows.
A little over 2 months in now and mostly satisfied! Out of the box, no off gassing or weird smells which was very nice. Delivery people very nice and took our old mattress away. I am a side sleeper and have compression in one of my lower right discs which leads to numbness, and I was experiencing some hip pain with my old mattress (a Serta I series) as well as numbness in my arms which would wake me up in the middle of the night. I am definitely sleeping better with the Saatva, I called them and they recommended the plush one since I'm a side sleeper. I still do occasionally have some numbness in my arms, but I don't think any mattress will fix this, I just need to be more conscious about how I lay my arms down when I go to sleep.
I’m actually in the process of using the warranty. We purchased it in May of 2021 and sags on each side. Wish I could share photos or a video. It was great when we first got it and the warranty process was seamless. They said probable defect and hopefully that’s the case.
Recently bought a Loom & Leaf relaxed firm. Upside: Good for side sleepers like my wife and I. If you tend not to move around much and stay towards the center of the bed, I think you'll be OK with it. Downside: There is absolutely no support around the perimeter. It collapses nearly completely if you, like me, like to sit on the side of the bed to get dressed. I've almost slid off the bed because of it. Due to SAATVA's restrictive return policy, I'm returning it and getting a SAATVA HD with pillowtop that they say has a much more supporting edge (for an additional $1,000).
I ordered a Saatva Classic in a full, luxury firm. Just waiting for it. I’m concerned that this mattress might be over-hyped, and I’m seriously considering seeing if I can cancel my order and go with one of the traditional mattress brands. I also learned that every “best of” list that this mattress is featured on is bought and paid for by Saatva, which is also true of all the other popular brands.
My Saatva Classic is here, and I have to say, it’s amazing!! I absolutely love it! I’m certain it was way overpriced, but I’m keeping it nonetheless, because it’s hard to find a mattress that’s comfortable. I just ordered some overpriced, 800 fill, down feather, pillows, too, from East Coast Bedding. I had never even heard of that company before. They aren’t on any of the “best of” lists. Hopefully I’ll like them. They have a 30 day free return policy if I don’t. I never buy things that can’t be returned. I have more trust in companies that allow free returns.
@@voice_of_a_little_lady Yes! I got the Sattva! I figured I’d at least try it. I love 💕 it! It truly is extremely comfortable. I also splurged on two 8 fill, (I think), down pillows from East Coast Mattress- OMG! Amazing pillows! I forget exactly how they label the different fills, but it was the best pillow they sell- and I got two. Comfort is not an area of life to skimp on.
Looking to replace my 3 year old sagging Purple 3 mattress. Purple will not warranty it because I bought it from Mattress Firm. Now looking to switch brands since Purple does not seem to want my continued patronage.
Purple is garbage. I laid on a few of them when shopping and did not like the egg carton feel of the mattress. Definitely go for the Saatva, they warranty it for life and my chiropractor recommends it. She had hers for 10 years and it started sagging and they replaced it. They do have a proration on the warranty, so it's not 100% coverage for replacement once you've had it for that long but that's still pretty amazing.
I have had the Classic for about a month and it is killing my back. I sleep on my back and am a small person and I feel as though it is already sagging. I can feel the little indentations in the mattress. I don't see why I should have to buy a topper.
I'm thinking about buying this, but the online consumer reviews are terrible. Not about the mattress but about the company itself. There are instances of being given used mattresses, or smelly ones, and 'white glove delivery' that is basically dump it and leave. Can you give any input on this type of thing?
This is the millionth video I’ve watched where they say softer beds are better for side sleepers, yet, every time I sleep on a soft mattress, my back kills me
@@17TRAVIZ bad for me as a stomach sleeper. I had to return the luxury firm and the even firmer Saatva classic model as well. I think hybrid mattresses just aren’t for me

I am a side sleeper, and I called Saatva to talk about this and they recommended the plush model. I was experiencing a lot of numbness in my arms when sleeping on my side in my $1700, 2 year old mattress from Serta. The Saatva is definitely more comfortable and I've been sleeping better. I still occasionally do feel the numbness but mostly when I have been in bed for too long (time to get up sleepyhead!).
Hello We have Dreamcloud, and we are looking to replace it. We have it slitly less than 5 years. It's just too hard. We are in our mid 70's. I weigh 210, and my wife is 125. Hope this helps.
The edge is firm-too firm to sit on it for very long if you are a light small person. You need to tie your shoes and get up very quickly and don't linger thinking about what lies ahead for the day.The trim of the edge is very uncomfortable/horrible.
That's awesome. Who cares. They carry your old mattress out. Lifetime warranty and made in USA!! Don't sweat on beds with Chinese materials . It's toxic
@@godsmackfreak13 dont get fooled by this companies, some like nectar will give you a full refund after using the mattress for a full year if you don’t like it, they go for around $800, they have to be cheap to make in order to take such a risk.
Damn near every single mattress has a 100 dollar return fee trust me I’ve been searching for a mattress now for almost 7 months and have tried 5 different ones and every time I return it it’s 99 dollars so Saatva isn’t any different
Saatva is not great. It sleeps hot because the top is memory foam which does not allow any air to pass through it. Also my spot on the bed is compressed down after about 1 year. All these mattresses that come in a box are scams just go to a store.
Saatva does not come in a box. Are you sure you even have a Saatva mattress? Some people live many miles from a store, online shopping is definitely an option.
the markups in store are ridiculous and I have gone through three different store bought in last five years, most of the mattresses are garbage, the firms are too hard and the plush end up sagging...if the budget versions (meaning under 1500!)..I definitely won't go with another bed in box, either, going with a white glove delivery of a real mattress...just have to find the right one Interestingly, most comfortable mattress I had thirty years ago from a discount warehouse for 200! but they don't make quality for budget anymore, even higher priced ones I tried have been useless after a year... I like the Saatv gives return/refund option if needed with an amazingly extended trial period

What firmness for a side sleeper?
I had the medium and exchanged it for the soft. I would not call it “soft”. I am a side sleeper, too, and quite happy with my two-year-old Saatva.
