Coming up to 12 months with my T. Buckets, Ceramics, Manual. The connection you feel with the car is magic. A year down and I’m tempted to map it, but big part of me wants to keep it true.
I love my T it’s perfect blend of power and Grip for U.K. road..I am also lucky to own a 997.2 GTS which has 55k miles, I paid £49k in 2012 I was offered £65k by a dealer last week after service...madness at the moment in porsche world

Life is short. Drive one of this beauty while you can. Don't have to own one, lease one for a week. That could be your sweetest week.
Love my 911T - nice review. I agree on stock power but it lets you really rev it out on the street without going too crazy.
Such a awesome combo with that flat 6 engine and that 7 speed manual gearbox.. not something you see often but if it was a daily of course I'd happily have a pdk.. but something about the manual 😍 awesome video stef!!! As bloody alwayssss 💥💥🔥❤

Porsche interiors are purposefully designed to age well. My 2006 Cayman S dash still looks amazing even 15 years later.

Great vid, really enjoyed. This is pretty much what my dads looking for, he had an 88 Carreras sport coupe on a late e plate (reg in early 88 by first owner) and loved it from early 92 through to 2015for a lot of same reasons you liked this.

I always thought the 991.2 T was a bit of a head-scratcher ? Was it a run-out special to keep punters buying as we headed towards 992 ? Well, yes, there has to be a bit of that because that’s why the T was originally invented way back: to keep bums on seats.
Was it ‘special’ with its GT-lite gorilla glass and its ‘S’ final drive ratio ? Certainly…but then got all contrarian with ‘only’ a 5kg reduction over a boggo C2 ? The rear seat deletion must be that alone, so where did all the weight loss go…?
You’d have thought Zuffenhausen would have at least given it a ‘T-only’ celebration-colour or wheels to match for some visual differentiation ….but we just got a splash of titanium paint on the mirrors and slats… And of course the final drive bolloxed the emissions somewhat.
And now Porsche is at it again with the Macan T - prior to full electrification for the next generation.
Whatever the merits of the T itself (and I remain a tad confused by it) it seems that this little letter is the harbinger of fatter, heavier, more digitised Porsches to come. 992 T anyone ?
If only they’d done a T in Albert Blue or Nato Olive and set it off with a set of OEM 19” forged alloys from the start it’d have made the perfect ‘non-GT’ 991.2 🙂.

I've only seen 1 before, you could say it's a Carrarity ..
With Porsche's long gearing I wouldn't think 7th gear sees much use.
..actually, it’s brilliant… on the motorway to an interesting road, slot into 7th, switch to cruise control and the character changes to give you a relaxing plush mile munching drive.
The gearbox is amazing!! I have owned at ‘18 and now a ‘19 T. The gears ratios are tighter than the normal manual 991.2 with a shorter throw stick. I rarely use 7th unless I need to save gas on a long drive. You also cannot enter 7th from 4th-only 5th or 6th. So, there are no mis-shifts possible. For me, it is the perfect 911.
@@richardbower8707 Exactly. I love my T, on a motorway run with cruise control set at 75mph I'm getting 38-40mpg. On a 180mph car!
