Gib key removal on a 1919 IHC type M engine.

My dad saved this engine from a scrap pile in 1973. He traded a couple of engine blocks for it. then it sat in my Grandma's barn for the next 45 years. I'm going to see if I can make it run this year.
I had to remove the gib keys from the shaft to get the flywheels off. The gib key puller came from eBay (Flywheel supply). It works great but make sure you come up with some kind of fixture to keep it up tight against the key. If it starts popping out the side, it will start destroying the gib.

Yeah that's an early style quick hitch. I pretty much only use it for a cap because the horn is bent and it doesn't have a clutch in it.
