As someone who’s done this before, it’s the biggest pain to replace these, I thought I was doing something wrong which is why I watching this video but nope I did it exactly like this and it SUCKED
Just did mine. A little back ache and a little headache later- boom done. Good video though, it was very helpful for reference and reassurance. 👌
10x easier than trying to remove it from the knuckle with it still installed. If only the strut was 1" shorter at the base it wouldn't be needed 😅
I need to replace the strut and wheel bearing on my 2015 Chrysler 200. The suspension parts look very similar to this. This way seems much easier, aside from fighting with the control arm and other suspension parts that need to come off. I recently changed the ABS sensor on my Wrangler which looks like the wheel speed sensor here, and it took 3 hours because it was rusted inside and began breaking off. I almost lost it inside the hub, but was able to dig it out in pieces.
Are the clips that hold the strut safe
Does this work for a 2016 dodge dart sxt with the 2.0L automatic
I don’t like that the strut is hanging on by a plastic ring up on top. It would’ve been good if they were made of metal or came with some adhesive.
does this struts can handle my 2016 dodge dart GT ?? my mechanic said that some struts has a different ratings when it comes to HP of a car
