The animation was used from another anime, when you can draw well you can change it to look like another character. Either way, some scenes weren't from the anime, so yes it is well made.

14 years later, I get recomended this. I wonder how this was done back in 2009. Was Photoshop or after effects available to the public then or was there other software. I've used photoshop to edit videos 4kids/toonami/saban/nicktoons/disneyxd style.
If you want to survive this anime you need a whole lot of stamina. It's pretty boring and even for slice of life the progression is super slow, but yeah, it had like 2 amazing episodes with tons of references and some references here and there (like the endings). You will probably want to check out the main character since she's a hardcore otaku. :D
Lucky Star is good for when you just get back from work/school/etc and want to just chill. In the first episode they take about 10 minutes talking about food and the different ways to eat them. Even though Reaper said it was boring, I don't think it is, unless you only really watch shounen stuff and only enjoy action. It has a way of keeping you watching even though it has literally nothing going on. Also, it's good to watch after watching a lot of anime, especially anime before 2007, as it has a lot of references, but even if you don't it's still enjoyable.

It's pretty good, doesn't have much of a plot and a bit random. But it's a fun slice of life anime to watch.
