My deep-set hatred of the idol industry is at least tempered by how incredible these women are. I could not do this in a million years that is just non-stop massive performance and excersize live. And they did it like it was just a small hundred meter jog. These women are amazing and I hope they have people that are telling them that in thier lives that aren't being paid ot say it.
if it's any consolation, voice acting isn't equivalent to idols, even if they sing and dance. so, though this was likely done at the time to ride the wave of idol popularity, most of them likely weren't subjected to the BS that comes with it, especially as it was in those years. that said, whatever ppl make of aya hirano, she had been an idol before being a seiyuu, and having "fans" without tempered expectations coming from those idol days is what led to the things that happened to her. she's announced her own marriage recently, so hopefully the antis die out eventually - i really wish the best for her.

Nijigasaki songs are really good too but due to covid and other restrictions, it is hard to gain popularity. I do enjoy some Aq songs but Muse will forever be my favorite Love Live group. I still rewatch Lucky Star from time to time. I agree it is too underrated
