you can manually use the sun shard on eevee to make it evolve immediately iirc
I tried a run where I didn't evolve Eevee at all to see if there was any alternate dialogue for doing that. There was not, but it was fun.
there's no way this is true. i always go umbreon as a casual player, but when you try to use the moon shard, you get the "this is not usable right now" message like when you try to use a held item or another item that is not able to be used. and if this was true then speedrunners would absolutely be doing it instead
@@Zabe_B It has to be done when Eevee's friendship is maxed out.
@yoshiwoollyworld Hmm, that's weird. Maybe try waiting a little longer. I actually beat XD without evolving my Eevee or taking it out of my team recently. No special hidden dialogue for that, though. :/
@yoshiwoollyworld Serebii is actually dated as hell when it comes to the gamecube games. It relies more on japanese translations than what's used in english versions. It's weird as hell, considering Joe is usually pretty up to date with things.
Teddiursa is amazing❤
Casually I totally prefer XD. Speedrunning, I think the least infuriating game is Colo, but I kinda like just destroying everything with Espeon and Bearmageddon. I might make a save of a good run and just run it for fun.
10:33 literally the first Pokémon game’s first battle lets you lose on purpose, it wasn’t a new concept in gen 3
Espeon is for ever one of my favorite pokemon cause of these two games
Unfortunately a lot of: story, back tracking, double battles, level grinding, dialogue, cut scenes, catching, & animation doing a speed-run would seem super difficult. Not to mention beating some very difficult battles seems super difficult
Where's from the first song?
I LITERALLY saw someone speedrunning XD last week 🗿
i too dig flareon, understandable
Noone? Like Peter Noone from Herman’s Hermits?
Sigh. Please do not do that.
The Orre games need a remaster
Earleon? xD 3:16
Crunch over bite is better for teddy but sadly espion doesn't get crunch
Something something Werster Red fights
Missed opportunity to say "if i were to say something about pokemon xd speedruns it would be: we just don't do those"
XD is one of my favorite Pokemon games of all time. Sorry it doesn't make a great speedrun for you.
10:50 I deadass always won
Why not fuck up the last boss using the masterball to delete one of its pokemons?
Master Ball takes a decent amount of time to grab.
"lower by -2" means +2, i hope you know that
So sad these game are so stupid expensive nowdays😒
P3 music, hell yeah!
10:33 ... every game since Gen 1 has let you lose battles on purpose?
Getting xd on
So XD is a better game because they fixed shit and made it unpredictable. Haha
Pokemon Games really have a speedrun curse huh.
Gravity rush music
"Even worse things than Team Plasma of B2W2"
Bro, Team Plasma was a joke in B2W2. You want to talk about a main-line team with some stage presence and diabolical plans? How about Team Galactic LITERALLY BLOWING UP THE WORLD TO CHAIN AWAY POKEMON?!
What the heck are you on about? Team Galactic wanted to change the world not destroy it. Cyrus used everyone for his selfish gain of a new world. Which he did by escaping into the Distortion world. Team Flare wanted straight genocide, now thats an organization
@@GalaxyStandard77I think you need to replay Platinum.
Who the hell is Noone?
i will never understand why some people like to do speedruns..
Same reason people do Nutzlockes or any similar thing: for the challenge. Beating a pokémon game isn't that hard, but adding restrictions can make it.
XD is still my fav tho. Not for Aidsrunning, but as a game.
No one is two words
"noone"
hello
danganronpa music too? Great taste
Earlyeon
357🎉
noone is not a word, it is spelled "no one".
I really Silverwind this video
Who the hell is Noone
