I have 250 pro that's 2 years old. It's been a great machine but I would gladly trade it in for this one. Spool guns are ok, but your Kickstarter engineers need to produce a real PUSH/PULL GUN for your 250 pro and 200 DP. About 5 or 6 meters length and NOT on a spool gun body that has a handle. It would expand it use of using .030 aluminum wire and use of 4043. I am going to sell my old 250 pro and buy one of these new. But one question, does the pulse work with stainless steel 308 and 70s6????? That would be very helpful on vertical welds.
Regarding your suggestions for a push-pull gun: we appreciate the feedback! As for your pulse welding question, yes, the pulse function on the DP200 works effectively with stainless steel (e.g., 308) and carbon steel using 70S-6 filler. However, the pulse mode on the MIG-250PRO is only compatible with aluminum welding. The pulse mode is particularly helpful in controlling heat input and achieving smoother, consistent welds, especially on vertical-up welds.
I like that spool gun👍
