One voice I utterly loved in the 80's came from Pete Wylie. Great singer and absolutely amazing records from Pete.
Pete Wylie's holy trinity, Story of the blues, come back and sinful.🇬🇧
Pete has a packed fabulous voice. I love all of his songs. Very cool and talented.
I'm currently obsessed (re-obsessed) with everything Wah and loved the way John and Janice introduced them in this clip. Superb
Decades later i still remember John Peel calling them "The little sisters of the Anfield Road end"
1986 i remember this song and well done to the mighty wah who did this song again well done to them
This was brilliant
God I love this so much … defining !!!!!!
Brilliant song, great performance
Should have been number 1..! And Peel should have broken wind in every kitchen in the country..!
what a very delightful song i remember this back in the 1980s well done the mighty wah its sin ful
Josie with paul wellers guitar
RIP Josie , Janet and John The three "J",s 🙁🙁
Pete’s songs have kept me alive
Summer 1986
John Peel 10pm when I was teen trying to be a Punk😂And John's right should have been N01
Anybody know who the drummer was on this clip?
Graham Broad?
Thanks, I did wonder. However, somebody commented on a previous Wah! video that the drummer (and the same drummer here) was from Liverpool (or around that area), and Graham is a Londoner.
This always makes me cry. Banger
still brilliant :)
Re-released in 1991 with The Farm.
Fucking genius.
Always reminds me of Phil Spector productions.
