A drop of oil on the plastic lug on the top of the tumbler barrel lid will stop you grinding plastic. I had one of those tumblers as my first and it does wear down quickly. Brilliant video. Love the polish on the silver.
Absolutely beautiful contrast with the oxidized silver transposed against the burnished and polished surfaces !! The contrast is just stunning !! I Like !!!
Great to see you up and about. Gotta take care of number one. That silver looks great when it's cleaned up and shiny. Very 😎cool, and worth some 💰money, OH YA! THANX FOR THE VIDEO, AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, LOTS OF LUV FROM BARRIE ONTARIO CANADA 🇨🇦❤
Those turned out really nice! I think you made a necklace, a ways back, out of a cut slab with silver running through it. I think that is still my fav!!
wow they look amazing i remember watching you in a video out collecting them and now watching u turn them into stunning bits. i don't have old silver mines in the state/island I live on Tasmania. your so lucky mate. and your daughter must be so proud to have a dad like you.
Wow, amazing results! Funny how the plastic beads wedge right into the services, almost like how gold nuggets can stick into unlikely spots. Good for you for keeping busy, hope you're recovering well.
Great point! And kinda for the same reason. In a huge flood, cracks in the bottom of a stream open and close as massive rocks pound their way downstream. Gold sneaking along the river bottom drop into these open cracks and get trapped.
I can see Beau frothing singing Silver and Gold, lol. Boy he got the bug when he visited you I could hear it in his voice. He wanted to squeal like a little girl. I don't blame him a bit!
There's a parking lot for semi trucks that I know of. The parking lot is at a perfect slant and with the rains, concentrates of stack soot gather always in one spot. Within this spot I gather platinum from the regeneration process of the semis smoke stacks (precious metals on the ceramic combs). My point is. I've noticed with many of your searches your on a hillside looking. I'm wondering if on hills like that, if there isn't a particular spot at the bottom of those hills, where silver particulates may gather in a concentrated amount where you might be able to gather. (just sharing)
The silver that I find is pretty much sitting where it was placed by the old miners. There is some fine silver colours in local creeks, but not economic quantities. I am much better getting another larger piece with the detector than looking for sands
So glad to see you vertical. I hope recovery is zooming. The nuggets are pretty...perhaps your sweetheart (Linda?) will like them better now. Does Daisy like carrots?
I want to do a few tumbles to form a better opinion. Originally, I was somewhat impressed, but now .. not so much. I only paid $20 and bought it used from someone who only used it once.
Hey guy... Was thinking.. how the heck is Greg out there rock-hounding after just having an accident? But put it together (I think) that you had started some video recording at an earlier date and then mixed in the present episode/adventure. AnyWays... Loved the tumbling of the silver. Hope your recovery is moving forward in an tolerable manner.
@@meMiner and the day will come sir,you will be free. Remember, this is not forever, so do your best ,keep resting and keep strong .you will encounter what we call here , the peaks and troughs and this will be one such example... 💪🏻💪🏻🙏🏻
Hey Greig, You have got some colour back in your cheeks and sound much better, I hope all is as it seems but without nurse Daisy on duty it's difficult making an assessment although this was probably before your flying lesson. Noice silver, I would say they are more desirable now than they were as untouched specimen, I have a great idea what you could use the small pieces for but i'm not telling you. Speedy recovery my friend, all the best to you and all of the girls.
Hiya Greg, hey you sure do feel up quickly, or you had this filmed before your accident. Awesome video, I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😸🐟out!
Not so random question, do you think it'd be worth the effort to use electrolysis on the slurry left from rocks known to have gold or silver in them? I've been pondering this for months as I've found a few rocks with small concentration of gold deposits in them and a few with silver!
Those are some nice chunks of silver! Do you suppose they'll need to be burnished again as the silver oxidizes? I hope Mrs meMiner likes those pieces a little better. And I hope you're continuing to heal well and will be gaining in your activity level. Continuing 🙏🤗
I would buy your left overs for just under spot silver price, as there will be iron copper nickle exctera in the silver. And you just said thelat lol. Hope you liked the package.
Amy forgot to pick it up. I sent my wife this afternoon. I hope she remembered to pick it up. I know she got sidetracked for much of the afternoon with a visit to the new puppy.

@@gabriellehood8810 Remember, this tumble was stuffed with plastic beads. The rocks would have been louder without them. The motor is fairly quiet. It spins so fast that I bet there is some centrifugal force happening inside too.
