I've just now watched this older video of yours and again I must say that your passion really shows. Your tumbling and finishing is perhaps the finest that I've seen- Glaring polish! Thanks again for inspiring all of us.
I didn't realize how interesting rocks were until I started looking at some really cool ones in the Internet. Then I realized that I have some really interesting rocks right near me here in Michigan. I've been having fun with them ever since!
It's amazing how many rocks I remember when I open up one of those boxes. I guess when you look at a rock week after week for months, the unique ones stick in my head.
So jealous. Im on my third tumble so far. My first time tumbling was a disaster. My rocks didnt come out well at all. Thats when I found your videos. Thank you for your videos they are very informative. Im learning everyday.
Man I could sit here and watch your videos all day! So informative! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos for everyone to learn about rock tumbling, they are GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I’ve always wanted to know how to do this the right way!!! I bought a 2 pound National Geographic tumbler a few years ago ands it’s just been collecting dust, I ran across your videos the other day and fired it up again. It’s rolling as we speak. Checked a piece of my petrified wood after a day and a half on low and it’s starting to look good. I’ve always been found to get lost in a rock pile somewhere. Thanks
@@ryanbekke8354 You've probably seen my video on the National Geographic tumbler specifically, but just in case you haven't, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/CsTc1kXUuPo/v-deo.html
I've just gotten into tumbling but I've been a longtime collector and I've been known to tuck rocks into gifts before 😂 your collection is so neat, and your layout has given me some ideas for my own!
I found your channel while looking for tutorials on rock tumbling. I enjoy your detail both in the finding and finishing. And now what to do with finished rocks. I inherited a tumler tumbler from my younger brother and my dad 35 years ago. My son was 9 then. But we never got started then. Recently I was helping my younger brother at the sale of his mom’s estate and a lady showed him a “tupper ware” bowl and asked if the rocks were included for 1$ marked on the lid. My brother looked at the rocks and at me and said he and Dad had tumbled them many years ago. He said he would not be able to get them back across the country did I want them. Our father was a geologist and really loved rocks, the natural world, and camping. (Reminds me why I like your channel). I accepted the rocks gratefully. When I showed them to my son and my grandchildren it was my 10 year old granddaughter that enjoyed them most. I told you all this to tell you the use we found for some of the polished rocks, the ones smaller than a dime, the girl likes to play mancala. It is usually played with 48 small glass beads. My granddaughter and I were able find 5 sets of 48 stones each in that bowl the right size to play mancala with. So if you have 48 small polished rocks make or buy a mancala board. Touching my Dads polished rocks never fails to bring a smile to my face even when one of the grandchildren just beat me at mancala. Thank you for your art. Once a good teacher always a good teacher.
It's funny that you mentioned mancala. I'm a recently retired teacher. Another teacher once asked me if I'd make some mancala stones for her. She was doing some sort of project where she needed some mancala games. I agreed to, but she told me to wait and never did ask me to make them. My wife and I have been playing backgammon almost every day for about a year. I have thought about making backgammon checkers for us, but haven't gotten around to doing that project quite yet. Enjoy your games with your grandchildren. We love games here too.
Love rock hunting. I've been collecting stones and rocks over the years. Gifts from friends. I am looking for a tumbler. Just not sure what kind. Some day! Love watching you searching and sharing your ideas and knowledge. Thank you
i just got into rocks a couple of weeks ago because i bought some semi precious stones from a craft store and wire wrapped them for jewelry but i thought it would be way cooler to just source my own rocks and stones to wrap! im in chicago though so ive been trying to do some research on what spots outside of the city i should visit to hound for rocks because im sure i wont find anything in the city. i appreciate all the knowledge ive been collecting from this channel, from tumbling to hunting this channel is very informative!
I'm sorry that I don't have any beach hunting videos from your side of the lake. The closest I have is one near Grand Haven, MI, which is a couple hours from you. You can probably find something closer, though. ua-cam.com/video/AMO69Z0Ljdw/v-deo.html
That is one extensive collection! And that is the one reasons I’ve never started this hobby…I’m so over just doing stuff to do it…..I need a reason to do the job! But kudos to you and all the rock hounds out there…..you do marvelous, beautiful craftwork!!
Your collection is larger than I imagined. Like the variety, makes for a more interesting collection ! Thanks much for sharing some with us. They are so so shiny and beautiful !!
I like watching lava lamps, sand pictures, and touching polished rocks ... I know I am NOT alone! LOL It takes awhile for my eyes to adjust, but I finally can see "depth" between the bands - - just fascinating!
Thanks for the ideas of how to decorate with our rocks ! I’ve never seen such a clean and organized home in that “outdoorsy” aesthetic before . I’m so jealous of your vintage green oven ! 💚
I wish I could give you that stove. It was the stove that came with our first house. We replaced it with a newer one, but I kept that to brew beer on. I stopped brewing years ago, but my wife won't let me get rid of it because she uses it about twice a year when we have a big dinner here. I just think of tools or cabinets that I could put in that spot.
I haven't assembled a collection that large yet, but now I have display and storage ideas if I do. I started my rock hound habit just last summer and I'm having a blast! Thanks for showing us your setup.
I'm not sure that I should be considered a good example. I'm kind of embarrassed that I have all those rocks held captive in my basement where no one can see them.
@@MichiganRocks Perhaps I'll hold mine captive where people can inspect the containers! One thing I've done is place agates in glass jars with very small battery operated lights mingled among them. They become agate lamps and look pretty cool in a darkened room.
Man! I would love a Petoskey stone from that cabinet! What a lovely pastime you have, and I loved the story about your son and his rock collection, too. My son (13yo) just told me he wants to major in geophysics, so we have been collecting obsidian from deposits in Coso Junction, CA. I hope to tumble some of them in a Lot-O Tumbler, to see how they come out. Thanks for making these videos - they have been so great to watch during these tough times!
The Lot-O does great with obsidian, but I have always run it through a rotary tumbler first. Here are some Apache tears I tumbled: ua-cam.com/video/pQq_4_n4ZNI/v-deo.html
Beautiful rocks. That was great seeing part of your collection. Would be nice if you had a way to display them. Hope to see some more of your collection sometime. Thanks for sharing. Davin
Depending on the response here, maybe I can start going through a box a week or something. Might get boring, I'm not sure. I thought about making a coffee table with a glass top over a box. I could fill the box with rocks so they could be seen from the top. Maybe some day. Too many other projects right now, like making weekly UA-cam videos.
@@MichiganRocks "week box" would be awesome! Really nice to get acquainted to your rocks. And what is most awesome - your table has space for more boxes with tumbled rocks ;)
Thank you for answering my question! What an interesting look into your very uncluttered life, sir. My compliments to your housekeeper match my compliments to your extraordinary rock collection, and I love the little turtles you make! You're an artist at heart, it seems. I enjoyed this tour very much 💯
The basement isn't usually as clean as it was in this video. Nancy requires me to keep the upstairs neat and tidy, but gives me a break on the basement.
I have loved rocks since I was a kid living by Lake Michigan. Came across your video by accident. Loved your collection. I will have to watch what you do. We used to always look for pretty "stones or pebbles" as we called them while playing in the lake where they were already all smooth by nature. I believe we spent more time looking for them than playing in the water! Wish I had them now as I grew-up appreciating them more and more. I have been to Lake Superior also but was afraid to keep any of them as nowadays, I didn't think you could take anything from the State Parks? Do you know the true answer to that? It was just at a little hotel on the shores of Superior where guests were burning driftwood! I was in horror seeing this as I am sure you know how much a small branch costs in the stores! The people from the hotel told me so much washes ashore and that I could take what I wanted, but I didn't as I thought with my luck I would get caught in another state that didn't allow it to be taken! TFS!
Wow what a nice answer to my question. You have the neatest, cleanest work area of anyone I have ever seen. Your tumbled rocks are beautiful and am sure your wife has some very becoming jewelry you have made her. I was showing your channel to my grandsons today and they liked it too. Keep those great videos coming.. Thanks.
Hi Rob, that was an awesome rock tour. I enjoy your videos so much and have learned a lot from you. I’ve only been polishing rocks for a month but we have always enjoyed going to the Lake Michigan beaches for the last 35 years or so and picking up pretty stones and rocks. We’ve got this big pretty pinkish rock sitting on the floor in our living room under one of the end tables. My wife has some crystal vases filled with stones in various rooms in the house and we have used the bigger ones for landscaping around the flower beds and pool. And now I’m building my polished rock collection. It’s a great hobby for the winter. Dave
It's currently 4:20 am and I'm here watching these beautiful rocks you have taken great care of! So organized work them, so brilliant! So emotional watching how much you love your rocks 💕
@@MichiganRocks I’m definitely going to check them out!! I have so many hobbies I love so I may as well add a few more. Do you find most of the rocks you tumble or do you buy them, or a combo of both?
@@rebeccameyer6104 I do both and enjoy both. It's fun to tumble my own finds, but it's also fun to tumble stuff that seems more exotic to me because I can't find it here.
@@MichiganRocks yes, because of the moose and fish, that's a very popular way to decorate there! And lots of ranch style homes as well :) looks like Michigan and Montana have some things in common!
Yes. That was awesome. Nice house and set up. The fish and duck carving was cool too. The rocks you showed was amazing. Saw all the banding and the one that does tricks with the eye. Really nice shine on them. Was fun to watch. Great video
Haha, I had to watch this twice because I was too busy admiring how uncluttered and clean your house is... I have 6 young kids, so my collections are stuck in my china cabinet for now. I have to figure out some other ways to display things so that I can justify keeping them. By the way, my oldest daughter absolutely loves your rock turtles.
We have two kids, one married and one in college. When they were home we managed to keep the house pretty clean then too. I have to admit that my clean shop is a lie. It's not horribly messy, but I did spend about an hour cleaning before the video.
Yes!! You remind me of my two oldest brothers they are both very organized and neat and everything has its place. One of my brothers is a lover of working with wood and the other one loves working with Harley, Davison‘s and every tool has its place. I am 56 and have a craft room but have gotten sick with MS and fibromyalgia and had to sell everything but I’m sticking with my rock tumbling because that’s something I can still do. I enjoy watching the way you store and keep your rocks. I am very much a beginner I started in December 2022 when I came across boxes and boxes of fossils and rocks in my mom’s attic! Since then I’ve been hooked, but it’s taking me a long time to learn the different rocks and minerals that make up the rocks. I’ll keep watching your channel and hopefully I’ll keep growing in wisdom. I did take pictures of cleaned up wet rocks. They’re all like 8“ x 60” Etc. I also have smaller rocks but I was wondering if you knew where I could send pictures of my larger rocks to find out what they are. I appreciate any help or direction you can give me God bless and take care. Have a wonderful, blessed day and if you’re hunting for rocks, Isaac can say is I wish I were there I live in California and our creek beds are all dried up here in the desert live just west of Bakersfield California. A lot of rocks take me months to tumble. The tiger eye was surprisingly quick. It's not exactly soft, but it shaped up way quicker than agate and jasper.
Hey, I have a question. I have never been to the store in person, I have only ordered from them. Will they let you dig through a big bin of rocks to buy tumbling rough or is it all packaged already? I'd love to hand select the rocks I tumble.
Michigan Rocks I have only been in one part of the store/warehouse, but all the rocks are in separate bins and you just go in the rock room by yourself and pick through the bins. You can pick and choose which ones you want. I’m sure they must have a pretty healthy back up supply in the warehouses.
I have only been there twice, and I was like a kid in a candy store. I really loaded up both times, so I guess bringing a voice of reason next time would be a good idea for me too!
Your home is absolutely beautiful! I love it and the rustic Michigan appeal. Those two larger Petoskey stones in your tv cabinet are the size of that one I told you an old boyfriend found in a gravel driveway and polished for me 🤗 And a tray of polished rocks you did on the coffee table, great way to display them. The big green rock that your son got in his room what is it .Did you haver heat treated at high temperature ,because gems stone they do and the can see value of the stone .I can be wrong I did see the show in Colorado what they were doing with stones .
That is a big chunk of green quartz that I found. It has not been heat treated. I have only found one other rock like that and it has been slabbed up and made into various things.
I have several fish tanks that I decorated with tumbled rocks and certain lights that highlight the colors. Slabs make for great habitats for specific fish. I wish I had gotten into the hobby in my youth as I lived in several countries growing up. Funny how I'm always eyeballing rocks when I'm out and about regardless of where I am. I remember loving rocks since I was about 5 yrs. old or younger. I use to go outside and sit on the curb and collect the rocks that had been scattered to the curb due to traffic. Just found your channel and thanks for being really knowledgeable with rock tumbling has helped me alot. I was thinking about using tumbled polished rocks with epoxy and making coffee tables and dining tables and desks with it at some stage
Here on Whidbey Island north of Seattle there's a rock painting club whose members get together and paint things on rocks and leaves them on the local trails for kids to find. It includes some serious artist. Every one of your polished stones is a natural work of art. I'll bet finding one on a stump while hiking with the family, would make a kids day.
I like Lortone rotary tumblers and the Lot-O vibratory tumbler. Most people start out with just a rotary. The Lortone 33B is a nice little machine. It's what I started with and I was very happy with it. There is a shortage of tumblers right now, so you might have trouble finding one. The place that I have found has the best prices and really good service is The Rock Shed. rockshed.com
Iv been in to collecting rocks since I could go outside my grandparents always joked they were gonna get me a box of rocks for Christmas and I’d be happy lol but my boss I work for always teased me cuz I’d find rocks on the job site so one day he leaves and when he got back he said I got something for you and he got me a tumbler!!! Get some acrylic cylinders and you could make some nice displays with many of the rocks. Nice collection. Just picked up a tumbler and plan on starting soon. Have to look through all the piles of rocks I have to find some stuff to tumble... fingers crossed. Picked up supplies from the website you recommended. Thanks!
You have a beautiful home. I was wondering where all the polished rocks went to live, and now we know the rest of the story. The stones you polish always have such high luster they are beautiful.
Thanks for the tour of your lovely home ... that was an unexpected treat ... I would love to see the back yard under snow. lol Been thinking about that most of the winter.
You have a beautiful collection! I am just starting. I don't even have a tumbler yet but am watching a few videos to learn what I can. Eventually I would like to make jewelry with polished rocks. I wonder how a hand made coffee table would look with rocks randomly placed on the top, then covered with a thick resin mix, or whatever is used. I think it might look nice. Anyway, I just found you tonight and am enjoying your channel, so thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I have thought about making a table with a glass top and a shallow area under the top to put rocks. Then you could change the rocks in there or even put something completely different on display. My wife was not as excited about my idea. With epoxy, you can never get your rocks back or change the look of the table. I used epoxy on a desk I made for my son. I built a cedar log desk. The top was cedar boards, but cedar is too soft for a writing surface, so I used epoxy on top. It turned out great.
Thanks for sharing. People ask me all the time what I'm going to do with all the tumbled rocks. I tell them it's about the adventure and the process, and then I offer them a rock. I'm in the middle of a 14 day isolation right now after returning to Canada from 5 weeks in Arizona, but I feel like I just went over to a friends house for a visit. Thanks for the invite !

I grew up in the UP, in Brimley. Our house was just a few hundred yards from the Point Iroquois Lighthouse. Left in 1986 for the Navy. Bought a tumbler a few months ago. Sure wish I kept all the Lake Superior agates I found years ago!
I love agate hunting in that area. I don't find many, but I treasure the ones I do find. I can't bear to put them in the tumbler though. I put all the other Lake Superior rocks in the tumbler though. I have a batch finishing up soon.

@@MichiganRocks I've learned that no matter how careful you are, some rock is difficult to get a good cut. Some will break, some will chip. Cutting out side in 50°F weather a few weeks ago, I could have cut better and evenly. First batch ever, so I'll get better. Only 1 chipped in the Lot - O. I also added 2 days in 1000 grit, then tin oxide.pilish. Turned out with a great shine. Rob, do you have a pattern of your turtle bodies and shell I can copy? Thanks for all the helpful videos
@Paul Carder I often lose one in the Lot-O, not due to chipping, but by breaking an arm off because of a fracture. Actually, I did 75 in two batches recently and I don't think I lost any. The key to not chipping the corners with the saw is to cut the ends off before the inside corners. Send me an email and I'll send you the turtle pattern.

I've just gotten into tumbling but I've been a longtime collector and I've been known to tuck rocks into gifts before 😂 your collection is so neat, and your layout has given me some ideas for my own!
Great, I'm glad I could help you out.
Thank you
My suggestion is a Lortone rotary tumbler (the biggest you can afford) and a Lot-O vibratory tumbler.
@@MichiganRocks Thank you for your suggestion
@@MichiganRocks I did not realize I would need 2 tumblers.
@@sherrystrack1130 You don't need two, but it's nice to have two. I could do everything in a rotary, it would just take longer and use more grit.
i just got into rocks a couple of weeks ago because i bought some semi precious stones from a craft store and wire wrapped them for jewelry but i thought it would be way cooler to just source my own rocks and stones to wrap! im in chicago though so ive been trying to do some research on what spots outside of the city i should visit to hound for rocks because im sure i wont find anything in the city. i appreciate all the knowledge ive been collecting from this channel, from tumbling to hunting this channel is very informative!
I'm sorry that I don't have any beach hunting videos from your side of the lake. The closest I have is one near Grand Haven, MI, which is a couple hours from you. You can probably find something closer, though. ua-cam.com/video/AMO69Z0Ljdw/v-deo.html
Thank you for the tour. Beautiful home and rocks too.
Thank you.

That is one extensive collection! And that is the one reasons I’ve never started this hobby…I’m so over just doing stuff to do it…..I need a reason to do the job! But kudos to you and all the rock hounds out there…..you do marvelous, beautiful craftwork!!
I can understand that line of thought. I really need to do something with these someday.
Your collection is larger than I imagined. Like the variety, makes for a more interesting collection ! Thanks much for sharing some with us. They are so so shiny and beautiful !!
So you're saying I have a bigger problem that you thought? Guilty as charged.
I like watching lava lamps, sand pictures, and touching polished rocks ... I know I am NOT alone! LOL
It takes awhile for my eyes to adjust, but I finally can see "depth" between the bands - - just fascinating!
My goodness, you are incredibly organized and neat! Oh and your rocks are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing
My wife is incredibly organized and neat. I fake it for my videos.
@@MichiganRocks lol!
Beautiful home (without clutter!) and beautiful treasure of rocks hidden away. Thank you for showing us!
Glad you enjoyed it.
@@gwynnfarrell1856 That sounds really nice.
Stunning! I love the tray of multi-colored stones on your coffee table!!!! Splendid idea.
Thanks. I chose a plate some they are easy to paw through. I thought about a vase or a bowl, but then you can't see all the rocks.
I agree with previous viewer, you are so organized. So jealous of those beautiful polished rocks. Thanks for sharing!
No need to be jealous. Just start tumbling. I just started a few years before you. You'll be there some day if you get started. It's a fun hobby.

I have had my hand buried in rocks plenty of times. Fun stuff!
The plate of tumbled stones on your coffee table looks beautiful!

I’m still very impressed! I thought your basement was pretty darn tidy too!

@@MichiganRocks😂
Oh my gosh, those are gorgeous! I'd spend hours and hours just looking through them. Beautiful home too.
Thanks!
Dave
It's great for winter and summer. Find them in the summer, polish in the winter! Actually, I polish all year long.
It's currently 4:20 am and I'm here watching these beautiful rocks you have taken great care of! So organized work them, so brilliant! So emotional watching how much you love your rocks 💕
I wouldn't say I'm emotional about them, but I do enjoy collecting and tumbling them.
careful...rock hounding is addictive...easy to get stoned...especially at 4:20 am...LOL
Simply AMAZING!! Thank you for showing us your treasure! Thinking of starting this hobby but it looks like I’ve got a ton to learn!
It's really not hard at all. It just takes patience. I have several videos that will show you exactly what to do.
Those rocks are all so pretty, they all looks like some kind of precious gemstone.
Gemstone maybe, but not precious. I like them though.
Quite a collection! Your cabinet of containers makes me think of putting up canned goods. Yours, of course, has a longer shelf-life than most!
None have gone bad yet!
I grew up in Montana and the style of your house makes me feel like I'm back home!! Thank you for the nostalgia! ☺️
I never thought of it as a Montana style home. Do you mean the way we've decorated with moose and fish? The house itself is a ranch style home.
@@MichiganRocks yes, because of the moose and fish, that's a very popular way to decorate there! And lots of ranch style homes as well :) looks like Michigan and Montana have some things in common!
So cool, gives me ideas. I think I'm going to do my whole basement floor with fossils and epoxy! Call it The Petoskey Stone Floor!

Yes. That was awesome. Nice house and set up. The fish and duck carving was cool too. The rocks you showed was amazing. Saw all the banding and the one that does tricks with the eye. Really nice shine on them. Was fun to watch. Great video
My father in law does do some nice carving, doesn't he? I really like his fish.
@@MichiganRocks Well, I'm jealous that your basement only took an hour to clean up. *Mine* is going to take months.

Beautiful rocks! I'm like you. I keep accumulating polished rocks, while giving some away. Be I've enjoyed the BOTS and various Obsidians. I finished my first batch of crosses and gave half of them away already. Keep the informative videos coming.
How did the crosses turn out?
Wo! A hobby with pure passion ! 😊 u hav a beautufull home 💙. Put som green plants here n there . The color of doors n wood overall will b enhanced !
We have a peace lily in our bedroom and an Aero Garden in the kitchen, but those are the only indoor plants, I think. I love gardening, but I keep my stuff outside for the most part. Sometimes I bring in some flowers to put on the kitchen windowsill. Some more plants inside is probably a good idea.
Money plant , ivy , orchid , bamboo will give life to corners …. Wow! Having outdoor garden is again beauty 😊
What is in aero garden ?
I m just returning from mountains and i found some rocks . The whole mountain is made of coolish blue grey rocks , which sometimes small parts looks transparent , and some very dark with that kind of (peblosky stone markings) …they have frankinsence fragrance .
I just saw the video yesterday n while hiking got them , how shud i show u what are they ? 😊
@@shwetashukla33 An Aero Garden ia a little hydroponic garden. I can grow six plants at a time. Right now we have herbs growing, so we can have fresh herbs whenever we want. I just put some cilantro on a frozen burrito I ate for lunch. We have also grown tomatoes (kind of tasteless), flowers, and other herbs. It's like a houseplant that you can eat. We've really enjoyed it. www.aerogarden.com
I'm not going to be able to identify your rocks. I can't even identify a lot of them in my own area. But if you just want to show them to me, Instagram is a good way. There's a link in the description. of this video.
Ya …. Thas wat .. i bring rosemary , mint , basil but cant grow confidently after a point .. thou fr now, they are there 😊
But no aero garden , i keep on moving untill find a pracefull corner … not lik pro ..
R u on fb ?
waohhhh, the ones on the window are amazing!!! love what you do, love rocks and the beauty that comes from inside!!!
Thanks!
I highly recommend a visit to your local elementary school geology activities during Earth Week.. It is where I picked up my love of rocks.. Thanks for the share.
Right now, I don't think extra people are allowed into schools. That's a good idea for the future though.
I have just seen a couple of your videos. Can you tumble shells? Obviously, they are more delicate. I love picking up shells on Asian beaches.
I have never tried tumbling shells. I don't really have any interest in tumbling them, so I haven't read much about it either. If I was going to tumble shells, I think I'd do it in a vibratory tumbler with dry corn cob media like in the video I'll list below. I'd skip the rotary part and just start with 500 aluminum oxide. I'm sorry I can't help you more.

My wife and I are arrowhead hunters, we’ve been hunting over 20 years . She worked in Michigan in 2017 . Since then we’ve been picking up agates and different rocks that would tumble AMAZINGLY. We would pay for shipping and your time just to have about a coffee can full of ours tumbled by you. But being a teacher I understand how time is a premium.😊. We’re from Tennessee. Someday we hope to come back to hunt at the U.P. Cross my fingers .
I retired from teaching this year, but I have plenty to keep my busy just making videos. A coffee can full of tumbled rocks would take a long time to do. I rarely tumble other people’s rocks because it’s so hard to keep them separate from my own. When I tumble, I don’t do all the rocks for the same amount of time, which is why it’s difficult to keep them separated. Have you thought about getting a tumbler and doing them yourself? It is so much more fun that way.
Yes Sir, my wife wants a cab king . I want a tumbler. So until we can afford them both .🤷🏻♂️. Just kidding. If I get in the position to afford a good quality tumbler , maybe I could watch your videos for the Best Buy for my money. I wouldn’t want a piece of crap that wouldn’t do a good job . But thank you so much for posting and teaching. You guys stay warm
@@thomasmcdonald5887 Let me know if you have any questions when you decide to buy something. I’ll help you out if I can.
What an awesome collection….did you find all your rocks to tumble or buy them?
I find a lot and also buy a lot. It's fun to tumble stuff I find myself, but I also enjoy tumbling stuff that is from places that I'll never visit in person. Mexican crazy lace agate and Botswana agates are two rocks I really like that I'll never collect myself.
I’m really trying to understand how you get this amazing texture and beautiful shine🤯
I have several videos showing exactly how I get the shine. The textures are pretty much all just "super smooth". Here's the way I tumble almost everything: ua-cam.com/video/hz2E0xJYEWY/v-deo.html
So organized it makes me sick!
Or maybe jealous! Lol!
I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better, I did straighten up my shop before walking through it. The upstairs is always like that though. My wife insists on it.
How long have you been tumbling rocks? Thank you for the grand tour of your beautiful home.
I've been tumbling for about eight years.
Your home is absolutely beautiful, flawless
Thanks.
Nice set up. I like to fill tall thin glass vases with polished jelly bean quartz and smokey quartz and sit them beside a lamp.
I like the idea of using a thin vase so you don't hide half the rocks on the inside. That's what I like about my plate too.
Amazing collection. Really enjoyed the way youve displayed some of them.
Thanks!
Woe!!! Beautiful stones and those pine corn, it is just amazing. God and the nature bless you. Thank you for sharing with us.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The sound of the tumbled rocks being stirred up is very soothing for some reason
Other people have mentioned that they like that too. I don't really even notice it.
So helpful! I mean all your videos are! I mean I don’t think my family will like it if I put them around the house “clutter” is what my mom calls it LOL 😂
My wife likes the house to be very neat, so rocks everywhere isn't going to happen here either.
