Looks so good. I love Canadians.

Tony ho, thank you ❤️
I am going to try this. I just went vegan an learning alot of different things to eat is fun an not as hard as I thought as alot of it I was eating already. So thanks for this recipe. Ill share once I try it🤗
Love your videos, there amazing and your voice is soooo relaxing
I just made these burgers! Delicious!
sounds delicious
I make this for my husband all the time and we both can't get enough of it! Delicious!
Plot Twist, you're a dude too * flies away
I am going to go make these for lunch, wow they look awesome!!!!!
FYI - not supposed to "wash" mushrooms, just dust off with dry paper towel because they are porous and will retain water - but I appreciate your yummy recipe!!! Thank you!!!!!! 😊
OMG! My family of 4 tried your recipe last night and the burgers were very delicious! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe 😁
Looks tasty. I want to make it.
That looks right delish.
A very nice recipe, made sense to me right throughout.
Looks really good!! I'll have to try this with some Swiss cheese, yummy!!
A decade later and this is still a good vid
Logging in after more than a decade! Thanks for your nice comment.
@HowToEatGreen Haha, I'm glad you saw! I've used this recipe more times than I can count, I couldn't thank you enough
thanks!!! helpful video
YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! Making these tonight.
Thank you so much 1st person in 5 videos to wash the mushrooms thoroughly....as opposed to " wiping them off"💜
Thank you! King 👑💚
great burger and video!
Hi Tony, thanks for the video, I am going to make some right now, looks very tasty.
Another good idea I think, would be to put a slice of tomato underneath the cheese. It would probably cook real nicely. I love cooked tomatoes! It really brings out the flavor! Yum! Great job. I'm going to try this! Thanks! I see it's an old video, but a good one... Hope you're still reading the comments 😉
Awesome
that looks soo good i gonna make that..... YOU SHOULD BE ON TV......
This looks sooo delicious! I tried it and loved it! Instead of the red roasted tomatoes and i added my own green anaheim roasted chiles….It came out delicious!
Good video. Articulate, organized, straight forward. Sandwich looks tempting.
really good video and really professional!
Indeed worth a million dollars. Gonna do this once a week !!
Good recipe
Thanks for posting! Great video and I agree with jbpharm.
Am drooling on my keyboard as I'm typing this - will make one for myself tomorrow night (without the onions, though). Excellent video Ton
SUBBED AND LIKED! X Great recipe mate!
dude, it looks so dank
@VegetarianFound So glad to hear that! Haha... "meater". That's awesome.
That looks so goooddddddddd
I really like the Follow Your Heart brand of cheese.
I gained so much respect for you just for actually WASHING the mushrooms. I get so grossed out when I see these chefs on TV wiping it with paper towel - I mean WTF don't they realize those things are covered in dirt!? But anyway, GREAT video, I'm definitely trying this out! Anddd I subscribed :)
Mushrooms are destroyed when washed in water ffs 🙄
Portabellas are awesome! If you like this, you would love my Portabella French Dip sandwich!
Most videos don’t use water to wash the caps. You just use papertowel wipe off any dirt, grit.
@jbpharm lol I've never been told that before. Thanks a lot!
Portabellas make a great burger replacement... grilled like a burger and similar cooking time. But real cheese gives it a lot of fat... and you can make your own cheesy sauce from nutritional yeast, raw cashews, lemon juice, water and a starch to thicken it.
Thanks for that tip! I'm going to try it.
nice organic balsamic!
You should become a pro chef and try to get on TV - you've get a great relationship with the camera! I would love to see u on FoodNetwork
Vegan cheese for me, I use Daiya. Delicious recipe, thanks!
nicely done. 1 1/2 thumbs up.
i lost 1/2 of one thumb in a childhood fireworks incident. don't ask...
😂😂😂😂😂😂glad you didn't lose the whole thumb
These mariniate much better if you use a shallow dish and put them in as one layer, then pour over marinate.
Just made it...my first vegetarian meal...DELICIOUS!!! Save some garlic and saute some peppers a onions taste different healthy and good.
Love that music - it reminds me of Charlie Brown lol - seriously. So I thought that pouring water directly onto mushrooms was a no-no for fear of soakage - is it just portobellos that can take it or are people just to jumpy and can you marinade them for longer than 15-20 minutes or will they become soggy? I have never eaten a mushroom burger (I'm just starting to tolerate mushrooms as far as liking them) but I'd like to try to replace some meat dishes with mushrooms and this looks fantastic!
nice
save a cow eat mushrooms,
Raven Songs Save a mushroom, eat a cow.
Yes, as long as options are available, we should stay away from meat
Mark Millers eat a cow, get heart disease . Don't save a mushroom . Save yourself .
Smiley face at 1:35!!!
Another great vegan cheese option (I'm not a fan of daiya) would be follow your heart provolone. Great video!
How long where there in the broiler
i was looking for a way to cut down on my meat intake to drop a few tons this looks like a good place to start
Is this the first ever recorded video of a mushroom bun lol 😂
Why not wash mushrooms? I've heard that before, but I've tried it and it doesn't seem to do them any harm.
you could put the mayo on the buns before you place it in the oven and it makes them more crispy.
I bet that you like your bund mayonnaised
add some sliced pickled jalapiños and the whole thing will rock!
12 years later and still nobody has mastered a nice vegan cheese 😄🤷 I missed eggs and cheese more than meat when I went plant based!
Anyway, great job! 🎶🐦
So true! Thanks for the comment. Just logging in after a decade, and I'm going to do an updated video with some of the newer cheeses. Have you tried the Daiya slices?
@@HowToEatGreen No, I haven't seen them in Australia yet :/
Will it turn out soggy putting the liquid on the mushroom.
Seems healthier than my deep fried mushroom burger lol.
That is good I made it before but I used 2-year-old cheddar and added sun-dried tomatoes and whole grain mustard. These are schrooms
So you can actually wash mushroom?
Fantastic! Don't start yet. I'll be right over with the wife. :)
OMG!!! I s this how it ends?
WOW to you who worried about his kitchen.. REALLY I'm like most of you are so rude n disrespectful as heck .geesh..he was clean and you watched his video . He doing these mushrooms his way..and everyone may not be on your level . since social media is a way you troll other people and throw shade, be rude regarding another person's efforts. You make a video do WE the social media can take shady comments on YoU!!!!. I think he did great n his recipe was DAMN GOOD. He is making efforts..so SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLS keep it moving!!! I m just saying.
You're like me...measuring with the palm of your hand!
I like that too! Instead of using 1000 little cups
Watching him cook is like watching myself cook XD
livingchaosmatrix Youre an asian guy with a blue shirt?
GR8119 Yes, I'm totally not a Mexican in a red shirt.
livingchaosmatrix lmao
I love this guy's presentation and the videos I have watch were all 5⭐💯 and now I'm subscribed.keep up the great work Tony , coming from a vegan
Thank you! Means a lot.
I will take this recipe and just put a burger in along with the mushroom :d
I grew Portobello's under my armpits never ate them though
True oven broiling is done with the oven door cracked open. Closing the door will cause a baking affect, over cooking your food.
I tried that marinade you made for portobello mushrooms it was excellent. I substituted the bread and use the mushrooms as my bread. It tasted incredible with the homemade jalapeno burger patty. I'm not sure if you're aware but you're supposed to use a damp paper towel to wipe off the mushrooms. But great marinade. Thank you
I cook for my home (7yo daughter, wife, and i), I have no top teeth, am lactose intolerant, have to control my cholesterol, and have a fiber deficiency. My diet is well balanced and my recipes are a large variety of both foreign and local dishes. I eat green but I also enjoy meat. I plan to make a youtube channel dedicated to softer eating and hope to reach out to other youtubers and maybe ask a few questions. Please let me know if you are interested.
Just tried this recipe, I personally think the balsamic vinegar simply overpowers and masks up any natural earthy taste that this amazing mushroom has to offer. Do not recommend putting so much vinegar.
StrikeXditt Some have said to use Worchestershire sauce in place of the vinegar.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
No, not necessarily so you do not need to wash them with water. You just wipe them with a damp paper towel washing them with water makes them way too soggy. lol
Try some CHAO cheese sometime - three yummy "vegan" flavors.😊
You don’t wash mushrooms sir. You only scrub them?
OMG!!!!;;; THIS IS HOW IT ENDS... WATCHING THIS AT NIGHT.
It's better to wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth instead, otherwise they absorb a ton of water from the faucet.
That's a myth! Mushrooms don't soak up a lot of water when washed. Alton Brown busted that myth on Good Eats S08E15 Myth Smashers.
I didn't see that one. I love Alton! Thanks
balsamic and olive oil is a mistake, imo. I'd probably go with lemon juice, tabasco and garlic. And where the hell are the salt and pepper?
dude from some experience and knowledge: don't wash mushrooms and the gills are clean they open up in 2 days, it's clean inside, damp towel or paper towel is best, just swipe em clean on outside. after a water bathing they inhibit too much water so the marinading process does not take place.
Great tip. Thanks! Always learning here.
Million dollar is figure of speech correct?
But it looks amazing and I bet it tastes great.
I wouldn't pay even 10 bucks for that
Uh oh we have a human measuring cup in the comments.
brush, not wash. and scrape out the gills with a spoon!
no wonder mine wasn't good
I;m so confused they say NEVER ever wash them
Fry it in sausage grease
