i just watched one of the nanjing japanese director hezhimeng's video last night. he revisited a place that he went 10 years ago and he remarked that the river was so much cleaner than 10 years ago and he wasn't even doing an environmental video. so i guess this environmental clean-up is happening throughout china. i have to give china a thumb's up👍👍. love from canada.
Hezhimeng is another documentary producer from Japan whose content are real and non judgemental.... he appreciates China and its progress ❤

The farm scenes just like the ones where I grew up over 70 years ago in rural Kwangtung China.
I know China has a lot of high tech farms. But they seems to be able to grow some food anywhere when they could find land. And I can't even get any food to grow in my garden.

Just a reminder, I don't know how you learn this expression 你们玩吧 (you probably want to say something similar to 'have fun'?). This is quite cheeky and fun in saying goodbye in a casual way, but may sound a bit rude to some southerners' ears or if used in a wrong setting, because it could also mean 你们（自个儿）玩吧 'go play yourself (don't bother me or I am not following)' 🤣🤣🤣 A better and safer alternative for a street talk would be 你们慢聊 (have a good chat) or 祝你们开心 (have fun)

I have four batteries for it , I don’t charge the camera itself just the batteries . Charging the battery box every night is enough

i think it should be pretty commonplace across all of Zhejiang, go into a restaurant anywhere in HZ and order some stirfried jiaobaisun (that water grass stuff you came across with the ducks), it's really delicious, like a lighter flavoured bamboo shoot crossed with a crunch more like thinly sliced broccoli stems.

Some of them have been shut down or moved , some have had wastewater systems installed

I haven't seen ducks in the fields for a while down here in Wuzhishan. I wonder if they have stopped it. Questions for you, are you doing this marathon ride alone or have you got someone trailing behind from Green Zhejiang? It's a long trip, how do you cope with changes of clothing? Love from Hainan as always.
I'm alone almost all the time except when I meet with locals like Mr. Dong and the duck farm owners, or when a photographer joins me for a bit to film some stuff like in Wenzhou. Lots of hotels have washing machines and I also returned to Hangzhou quite a few times in between this bike tour for other work projects so that was another opportunity to wash things. the bike has two bags on the back so I can bring quite a lot of stuff with me
