This is the first day of a series of flights in mid-March 2019, on the way to Chicago. Soon the flights into majestic Eagle, Colorado and the return flight with a stop in hip Austin, TX
I just love riding shotgun with you in these videos. Your Cirrus is beautiful, love the avionics, love your calm demeanor and radio skills, love the content...please keep posting and safe travels!
Niko ... I was going to say many things, but ... SENSATIONAL! All beautiful! The plane, the sky, the light, the beautiful family, the blue of the Chicago skyline ... Congratulations!
Despite your wife's "funny" snip about losing time, the grin on her face when the tires touched the Gwinett runway said everything that needed to be said. :)
Nice to see you come up north, and see the family fly with you as well..the most precious cargo of all. Those headwinds sometimes seem to be hitting you on long trips, but hope they changed to tailwinds after this leg of it. Funny about the wasp..and many yrs. ago heard 2 tower controllers screaming like a murder was taking place..it turned out to be a mouse that popped out on them, lol
Niko, you have a beautiful family, plane, life and a calming demeanor Sir.... it's nice to see a successful businessman with everything in order. Thanks for taking time to make these videos, I love them. Would love to meet you some day..... God Bless you and yours!
Thanks Dave. Good health is everything and that’s the only thing I wish for every day for everyone. We lose too many good people to health issues every day.
Almost called her Miss Grace... 9:30 👍 I grew up in Georgia and your accent is unfamiliar to me, however your radio communications are very easy for me to understand.
Dang man, I wish I had known! I live very close to Lawrenceville! LZU, PDK, AHN, and GVL are great airports. Your route of flight took you right over the places I used to fly when I was first learning. I got my license at KTBR (Statesboro) and I would fly to Swainsboro, Vidalia, Savannah, Sylvania, Metter, Macon and Dublin all the time during private and instrument.
Another great Video Niko. Very nice camera work by the wife too! Because of you and your videos, I am heading to Lenawee County airport and talk with the flight school tomorrow and take a discover flight. Thanks and keep the videos coming sir.
Hearing "Oh dear" from the ATC could have been a little unnerving, sort of like hearing a surgeon say "Whoops!" "Time to spare, go by air", funny! Great video, I enjoy every one!
Glad you got to get away with the family! Looking forward to the rest of the trip. Your wife is great with the camera! Loved the shots. Hope all of you had a great Independence Day. Thanks for sharing, Niko! 🍻
Thanks for the inspiration, Niko! Did my training and passed my checkride last month in a SR20 G6. Yay! Already started my Instrument training. So much fun!
Niko's Wings Yes! Absolutely important in the Northeast where we get summer days with haze especially when flying along the coastline. I now have a license to learn...
Thank you for sharing the music of your videos as well. I love how you communicate your love of flying and the emotions you feel in the musical choices for each video.
Absolutely visually stunning video. I have flown on big planes but never on a smaller plane like yours. Again absolutely visually stunning video. Thanks for the upload looking forward to more
Niko I've been watching your channel for the past few weeks and it's been so much fun that you have inspired me to pursue my longtime dream of becoming a fellow pilot..so for that thank you for the inspiration and I hope to see more videos from you in the future.
That is one great looking aircraft you have there,I am amazed on how good it looks inside and out. Both yourself and 310 are now my favourite channels and I dont even own a plane nor hold a licence.I am inspired Niko, well done mate!
Like the trip to chicago, must have been in the winter time, you have a nice family Niko and your wife is a beautiful lady, man you make IFR look so easy and your competence is impressive.
Hey Niko Hello, welcome to Chicagoland, I’m about 30 miles from Chicago executive airport, I hope you come again, what live to stop and say ‘hi ‘, to you and meet you. I enjoy all your videos, take care, safe journeys
@Niko's Wings >>> DECADES ago I remember reading an article in an aviation publication - it MIGHT have been *_FLYING_* magazine - about someone who encountered wasps in flight. They were flying in a Cessna 150, 172, or 182 - I forget which - but had not opened all the cabin air vents on the ground. Wasps had apparently built a nest in a closed vent, and when they opened it, well...😨 FORTUNATELY there were no serious injuries - other than dead wasps 😊 - although I do not remember if the pilot and pax got any stings.
Okay Niko, I guess our state’s capital was close enough for this year, glad that you didn’t stop in Dallas. Maybe 2020. Hello Niko family, thank you for sharing your family cross-country adventures.
Cool video as always , really enjoyed it and enjoyed that landing with the helicopter on the left and the piper on the right . Busy airport that place is .
Im not a pilot my vision wouldnt allow it. Really enjoy watching you, flightchops, P1driver, flyingcowboys etc... Im really jelous of you all. Grew up around a bunch off ww2, dnr, and private pilots and enjoyed hear of their expieriances. Keep the vids coming. Be safe. Hope you have a long flying career.
Im pushing 50yrs old. Vision wont settle down. Need new glasses about every year and a half. Sticking to bass fishing and motorcycle. Family from virginia mn north of duluth. Friends dad works for cirrus. Cool plane.
I deer hunted w/ 2 old guys that flew P47's in ww2 & another who crewed in a huey v.nam. they went on to cubs, champs, and stinson's. Stinson's sons are MN DNR and delivery piolots for used plane sales. I do get rides when i can go.
Great shots on this flight, especially the shot passing the Cherokee! I always look forward to watching your videos. Makes me excited for when I have the chance to begin my flight training and to be able to take my family along with me. Keep it up!
Awesome video!!! LOVE your content, also I think this is the first video of you flying with your family since the emergency TFR one, and I believe that was the same controller working BCT Ground in this video. Keep up the great work!!
Awesome video again! I think this one has had some of the best shots thanks to your wife! Love seeing you flying with the family. Can't wait for the next part in the series!
Well, Niko, the weather display in your cockpit this time sure beat the heck out of that during another , hairier video that found you turning back then trying again and being forced to divert around and between cells. This one was a milk run by comparison.
Niko how are you I also live in boca raton i love your channel i would love a tour of your aircraft also would like to know do you ever do short flights around this area ? Maybe i can take a flight ?
Whoa, the medivac snuck in while setting up to land. The controller kept his cool. Around NYC helicopter traffic makes for an interesting flying experience. Fine as long as everyone stays in their lanes but shit happens and emergencies get priority. The wasp is hilarious, like a scene from the movie Airplane. "Passengers, this is your captain, there's no need for concern but THERE'S A WASP IN THE COCKPIT!!!! OMG!!! WE'RE GOING DOWN!!!"
That vernal equinox - like low orbit western sun must be a pain when flying VFR! Ouch! But not a bother to profs like you. Love it when you have the fam and she knows how to handle the cam! Love it!
Great Video, love the cirrus. I have about 50 hours in a Cirrus G6, what a awesome airplane, the air-conditioning is a life saver! I have been lucky enough to fly as safety pilot for a friend of mine who got is SR22 last year while he works towards his IFR. Do you ever have issues with hot starts? I have found they can be a little tricky to start after a hot soak.
My friend Baron Pilot thought me a great trick. 1. Max power 2. Full rich 3. Run the pump for a second or two 4. turn off pump 5. Mixture cutoff 6. Leave power at full 7. Start, when it catches be ready to simultaneously go full rich, fuel pump on, reduce power fast If that doesn’t help. Turn everything off and sump the gascolator then try again the steps.

You Inspired me to start my journey to become a pilot thank you Niko!
That’s just great!
Love the video! I also have had a wasp in my cessna before, NOT COOL!! But funny hearing tower scramble instructions because of a wasp, hilarious!
I just love riding shotgun with you in these videos. Your Cirrus is beautiful, love the avionics, love your calm demeanor and radio skills, love the content...please keep posting and safe travels!
HAHAHAHAH WASP IN THE TOWER! 😂😂 well that was a distraction 🤣🤣🤣
Niko ... I was going to say many things, but ... SENSATIONAL! All beautiful! The plane, the sky, the light, the beautiful family, the blue of the Chicago skyline ... Congratulations!
Thx Eduardo
Very nice seeing the family all together.
Cheers,

Very cool shots of the Cherokee on the approach into Chicago. Can’t wait to see the rest of the trip.
Beautiful video as always! My dream is to fly with my family like that! Thanks for the inspiration.
Despite your wife's "funny" snip about losing time, the grin on her face when the tires touched the Gwinett runway said everything that needed to be said. :)
TY for sharing this adventure. Those shots of the other aircraft I believe made a huge impact on the richness of the vid. Good job!
Hey Niko thanks for taking us along on another family trip! Excellent content as always!
Beautiful footage, nice edit, great airplane, good pilot skill and funny video. Couldn't be better. Nice job captain.
You know, I think Niko would make a good life coach. What a beautiful video. He demonstrates what general aviation is always meant to be.
Nice to see you come up north, and see the family fly with you as well..the most precious cargo of all. I also had a wasp in the cockpit once. Was not fun at all but it ended well and gave me a good story at the end of the day.

Bill, your vision should not affect you being a private pilot. As long as you correct it with glasses or contacts you should be good to go
Im pushing 50yrs old. Vision wont settle down. Need new glasses about every year and a half. Sticking to bass fishing and motorcycle. Family from virginia mn north of duluth. Friends dad works for cirrus. Cool plane.
When you are a Greek God, you make a controller nervous and get priority handling over a Cherokee and a Medivac! It’s good to be you! 🙊😉
The controller may have given me priority but the darn headwind put me at the back of the line that day... lol 😂
That’s an outstanding, creative edit.
