Speed was the best channel on cable. A dedicated car channel that was as close to an all in one channel as there has ever been. FS1 is just another version of espn. Who cares?
But we need a pair of 3 hour scripted debate shows on FS1 with Skip and Shannon yelling at each other over nothing and Colin spouting platitudes why he's the smartest person in sports, but can't have a 1 hour nightly NASCAR news and guest show that is filmed in front of a green screen anymore.
Sorry to see Race Hub going away and so soon. Wish they would have stayed until the end of the season. May God bless all that are loosing theie jobs and may he guide them to better opportunities.

Cancelling a show is generally all about money, if they aren't able to sell commercials, the show will be cancelled. The show needs to make money, period.
It has a lot to do with the easy access to all the information on the internet. Plus Fox has gone way down hill since it decided to go woke along with Nascar!
1st sign of Nascar's death was losing race coverages on terrestrial radio stations. When the local stations can't sell spots they don't want to carry MRN or PRN broadcasts.
I'm guessing it has to be a decision made by someone who has never competed in NASCAR, or has never had to create content for a show. This more than likely was a "Bean Counter" trying to squeeze blood out of a stone.
Total BS….Race Hub was something every NASCAR fan looked forward to every week. If NASCAR really wants to grow the sport they should have taken some of the profits they make by screwing the owners and subsidies Race Hub with their profits and keep Race Hub for the fans to inform the NASCAR community each week with the great hosts and guests that were on every single weekday!!

I live in Canada and there is not much coverage of nascar up here. If it wasn’t for TSN we wouldn’t see over half of the races, hats off TSN and keep it up. I pay extra for a channel so I can watch racehub. They all do a great job and I enjoy watching it. Much better than holding your phone up to your face all the time. It’s actually because of access to content like this that we can get whenever by whoever we want on social media that takes us away from the television setting. By the time I get home from work I’ve heard all I need to hear on UA-cam and x. Barely turn the tv on anymore.
The writers producer’s or director’s who is responsible for content and delivery are pathetic. The same information every night over and over again. Easily could have been a half hour show every night if it weren’t for repeating the same information. Stopped watching last year. Able to get news and information from other platforms. My opinion. It's horsesh!t. It is the one broadcast NASCAR news show that I religiously watch (not counting streaming) such a great show with a stellar dynamic from the crew along with top shelf insight. While I've done 55 cycles around the sun - can't say I understand alot of things and this is one.
I think that Comcast torpedoed FS1 when they made FS1 a premium sports package channel (for $10 extra) instead of in the basic package channels like before. That's what cable company money-grubbing does to the world. Comcast effectively shut off regular FS1 content to me.
I hope NASCAR can find a way to bring Race Hub and other shows back but just film it at their new production studio in Concord, NC. NASCAR really should just relaunch these shows and even some of the old classic shows like NASCAR Victory Lane themselves. Film everything at the new Production studio so it's in house, you don't need to rely on the Fox Sports studio in Charlotte or the Fox Sports studio in LA and eventually turn the NASCAR Classics web page into a Netflix for NASCAR.
So sad. I've watched nearly every episode since the beginning. (Same for the old NASCAR America show). Hope Race Hup gets picked up by another channel!
No offense to people on FS1. I'm pissed off that Fox has signed to Nascar for 5 moe years! Their Cup coverage has been piss poor for the last couple of years! But having too many races , including 4 in a row on FS1 is hurting Nascar viewership! Streaming is getting more popular because cable rates are so high. And with the crappy Gen7 cars which represents more of a sports car instead of a stock car the races are boring. I won't purchase Sling TV to watch the races. I prefer to watch the Xfinity races over Cup races. And luckily most of their races will be on broadcast TV or stand alone channels I subscribe too! I use to go to at least one race a year but not anymore! The France sons and especially that non driving POS Elton Sawyer with their new woke Nascar sucks. I prefer watching you on dirt tracks!

How/why do you repeat race analysis Mon-Wed with separate hosts and commentators? Shannon Spake and Kaitlyn Vincie were excellent knowledgeable hosts and didn't treat the show as if it was a non-stop comedy show.
15 yrs unknown amount of new fans introduced in depth knowledge of NASCAR drivers and teams that's grown mainstream to what it is today. Fan for 30yrs and watched Racehub nighty hope it hurts Fox and Nascar executives as you only exist if the fans exist

Sorry but Race Hub won't be missed by me, haven't watched it daily in over 5 or so years, it was just a bunch of race highlights & boring stories! They could cancel the prerace shows too, I rarely watch those either & just watch some of the races now since the Next Gen era. I think the cookie cutter race cars are boring & took the racing mainly out of the race teams hands, racing used to be really good when teams built their own parts, pieces & cars.

Her personality was a plus for me and I even missed not getting as much input from Chad Knaus since he went on to Hendrick. Alex Alexander was a favorite, also. Hope to see them on something else.

Certainly no expert on the situation, but it must have come down to lack of viewership. They do not canceled TV shows with large viewership normally
