Here's how I imagine the song going out . A castlevania opening, slowly zooming in onto the vampire sitting on his throne. Tapping his foot to the rythm. And a party bowing to him. Then, him getting up suddenly, and scaring them off to the town. Afterwards, dancing forward, with a commander and a faithful servant beside him acting as chorus, with the party running in yelling about the horrors that are approaching. Meanwhile, the vampire is dancing, using his staff as a mic, and the skeletons and zombies marching ahead, spinning their weapons, meanwhile singing the 1:40 part swapping between them all. Then a town in ruin, with the vampire and his team, looking upon it. Swapping to the party's perspective, they get surrounded by the army of dead, before getting killed. 2:37 And then him in his castle, panning out from his throne of newfound riches, and endless dead dancing to the rhythm upon a bloodies battlefield.

Finally a necromancer with some flare and style. Usually necromancers just cry in the corner because they're depressed and don't have any fiends besides bones.
You really gotta appreciate the seamless combination of death threats and glorious guitar, a true masterpiece indeed, or should I say blasterpiece? I'm so very original
My take on this: A party of 1 fighter, 1 barbarian, 1 monk, and 1 wizard enter a dungeon Screenshots of dodging traps and fighting monsters, then a boss fight They get to the boss chest, their reward And the song begins with the wizard speaking as he opens the chest, the contents hidden The moment he says "death", the party looks shocked. He reveals a purple and green electric guitar covered in skull designs, glowing with a green aura, sliding it over his shoulder, holding it in front of him When he says "lucky for you", he turns around to face the party, his robes turning purple and green, as he draws out their souls, turning them into his first undead The rest of the song is him raiding towns with his army of undead, all dancing and jamming the whole time
This song is absolutely incredible and I've had it on loop for the past few days. I've just gone through the rest of this band's releases and as many people have said, the quality of these songs are SCREAMING for more recognition because oh my goodness they are incredible-- absolutely well done to you all

This has the mental instability and dramatic flare of one of my DnD characters. Funny he’s actually being tailored into the BBEG for my friends campaign rn
Had this band recced to me and so far it's an absolute joy. I have no idea what adventure rock is as a genre even after reading descriptions, but this feels like a happier Ludo meets a not-quite-goth-but-still-about-the-dead-and-monsters Voltaire. I'm fully hooked.
I thought of a D&D enemy from this song. A necromancer that dances to cast spells instead of incantations, and the only way to get rid of them s to out dance them. When the players dance, the monsters all watch until they finish, and depending on how good it was, they will either continue to attack, or just clap and let you pass to the big boss dancer. Love the song, had me groovin for the first time in a while!
Years ago I wanted to create a necromancer character that controls the dead with a guitar or bass, I found this song on my search and it was the winner, I’ve loved bear ghost ever since!
I know that vampires and necromancers don't have much in common other then being very powerful and having a connection with death, but this song seriously reminds me of this vampire OC I have. Like, I can totally see him rocking out to this while summoning anyone under his control and just being his overdramatic self
It took so long to find a song PERFECT FOR THE ANIMATED SERIES I WANT TO MAKE. From the guitar to the exotic instruments that give me the shivers, the lyrics that are so FRICKING CLEVER, and the voice and vocals. Wow. Everything just fits into place, and is very very inspiring. Cannot wait to listen to your guy's stuff while I draw and all that. Keep it up!🤙
This song spawned a bardic necromancer in my campaign who sings different lyrics (from this song) to cast his spells. He had a risen band playing with him. Each increasing the number of zombies he could control at once. Its still one of my party's favorite BBEGs to encounter.
Congratulations. User 136 Your history has deemed you a suitable candidate and have been volunteered for our partisan program. Please veiw the introductory course.
I adore absolutely everything about this song, but something that _really_ stuck out to me is the air of superiority the narrator has throughout the entirety of the song. Not quite in the sense that HE feels superior, but rather he feels that zombies are superior...to living humans. For example, the line at 0:48 - “...these endless, non-progressive inundations of their kind…”. The words 'endless’ and ‘inundations’ (the latter having a rather negative connotation) probably refer to the mere abundance of people on planet Earth (nearly 8 billion). The phrase ‘non-progressive’ makes humans out to be obstinate and almost like an inconvenience, especially with the objectifying use of the demonstrative pronoun ‘these’. Another thing to note about the aforementioned lyric is the use of ‘their kind’ in the context of the previous message. This may hint towards the narrator feeling as though the risen dead are the BETTER type of human, leading him to try and wipe out the remaining living ones. Continuing with the lyric at 0:53 (“and lucky for you, you’re the next one in line"), this probably signifies that the narrator feels that being turned from a living to an undead human is a privilege that ought to be embraced (which, again, takes us back to the ‘superior’ thing). In addition: something else I noticed about the lyric at 1:28 (“...drive a gathering of streets of gleeful people seeing the deceased’s advance…”) is the use of the word ‘gleeful’ to describe the LIVING humans (at least, that's what it sounds like). Chances are, the majority of people on this planet wouldn’t be too gleeful seeing a whole lot of zombies coming their way. Perhaps the narrator thinks that humans WANT to become zombies? After all, he does believe that zombies are superior, so why wouldn’t a measly human want to get an upgrade? Or maybe he’s just a sadist with good music taste. Who knows? Last thing before I shimmy out of here...the lyric at 2:57 blatantly states “you’re all the same”. That line COULD be interpreted as a way of looking down on the living humans (as the narrator described humans previously as ‘non-progressive’). Seems pretty telling to me of how exactly the narrator feels about humans. I dunno, just a thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tbh when I heard ‘endless, non-progressive inundation of their kind” I thought of it as the ‘endless overwhelming lack of chord progressions’ As in the musical term. It really matches in with the song, seeing as the narrator values constant music and dance. So, In specific, the narrator dislikes the living because they’re not appreciating music to it’s fullest. Thus, killing them and putting them under command of his music is a favour. To Narrator, it’s disdainful to see stillness. After all, isn’t life better when you’re mindlessly dancing and singing in joy without stress? What do the dead have to worry about? Honestly, light-heartedly this could be seen as a fan base following their favourite band (necromancer) who really does make them dance and sing. The fans are the zombies! In a good way. Or maybe the public is actually gleeful to see the dancing zombies because nobody believes it’s real ‘zombies’ at first? I think in the end this Narrator doesn’t value the zombies for being ‘zombies’ he values that they can be ‘ridden with rhythm and dance’. As a last bit: “its over, this necromance ballet. You’re all the same!” Is complete world domination. They all are blessed with dance and song! It’s an expression of excitement. Thought i’d add my two cents! Edit; wording changes for clarity
@@emptyboxie50 Holy goodness, I really love your interpretation as well, thanks for sharing! I honestly adore the idea of the narrator disliking [living] humans for their lack in music taste, that's such a cool concept and I thoroughly appreciate you pointing it out.

I’m learning the guitar for this song it would be sick to collab on this (but very hard to do so if you don’t live close, I’m from VA)

Incredibly so.

With nowadays mainstream music being so boring anything looks "underrated". They are damn good tho ❤️.

Saw you live in Seattle last night.
Went mostly to just kick it with a buddy of mine. Only ever hearing your stuff in passing.
You guys put on a hell of a show. Super fun to watch. Best of all I dig the tunes. Good job on converting someone else to your fanbase.
Keep up the good work my dudes.
Wow, thanks for coming out!
This is by far one of the best songs ever written

I am making a necromancer/bard team in my next D&D campaign inspired by this song. I can't wait.
Or an undead Druid, inspired by the band name.

Honestly I just discovered this song by pure accident and as a writer who’s currently writing about a necromancy story this is a vibe to write with!
I honestly thought that no one could possibly make better music that bear ghost's last few songs, but they managed to outdo themselves! I would love nothing more than to meet them in person someday!
I went to the same school as Ryan Abel the guitarist and we saw each other pretty often bc his little brother is my freind. He was a few years older than me but he was a genuinely nice guy and pleasant to be around. I'm glad to see he's doing so well. There was a whole group of kids there striving to be musicians and they were all really fun to know.
I just discovered Bear Ghost today, they came up randomly on Spotify. Linked this song to some friends and one of them described this song as "If early days Panic! had written Bonetrousle?" and I'm mad I didn't come up with that description myself!! What an awesome song, what a cool band! I'm obsessed
This is it
Now we've found it, I'm astounded
Every town will be surrounded
By a throng of marchin' death
Delicious the riches, they glisten ahead
It's a craze
They'll devour every hour
Of these endless, non-progressive inundations of their kind
And lucky for you, you're the next one in line
When I'm necromancin', everyone's dancin'
No one can stop me, I dare you to try
The dead are infused with sensational groove
And they're comin' for you now
There's nowhere to hide
Yeah (waltzin' forth, here they come)
I'm raisin' the dead (everyone turn and run)
I'm lovin' the dread (killer moves that will stun)
Let's make some evil
I'm in bliss
My cadavers drive a gatherin'
Of streets of gleeful people
Seein' the deceased's advance
The risen are ridden with rhythm and dance
Dig up some flesh with plenty of mold
Disease is appeasin' for rickety bones
And make it saucy with a hot incantation
Dominion is served with a bubblin', spirited, vibrant
Subjugation (whoa)
Yeah (waltzing forth, here they come)
I'm raisin' the dead (everyone turn and run)
I'm lovin' the dread (killer moves that will stun)
Let's make some evil
Yeah (bust a move or you'll lose)
The dance of the dead (they'll swarm all over you)
Get out there and shred (it's a zombie footloose)
And make some evil
Cities laid waste, and they celebrate
Freed now from their graves (we love it so)
So mince and prowl
It's over now, the necromance ballet
You're all the same
Yeah (waltzing forth, here they come)
I'm raisin' the dead (everyone turn and run)
I'm lovin' the dread (killer moves that will stun)
Let's make some evil
Yeah (bust a move or you'll lose)
The dance of the dead (they'll swarm all over you)
Get out there and shred (it's a zombie footloose)
And make some evil

You guys are freaking incredible!!! Blasterpiece just showed up on my Spotify out of the blue a few weeks ago and for like two weeks I couldn't make myself listen to anything else, so I promptly hit up your bandcamp page and bought the album! Am now sporting Bear Ghost stickers on my laptop and car! ;) (I am in Kentucky btw!)
On that note, do you guys have any proper bumper sticker designs in the works? Because I would be all over that; your logos are almost as awesome as your music, and the sticker from Blasterpiece is peeling pretty bad LoL.
Can we just appreciate the fact that Bear Ghost is still liking the comments on this video? That must take dedication lol
I have never herd of this band before. I heard this audio in a Gravity Falls edit. I am now a subscriber and this song is on my playlist.
this whole song, from lyrics to rhythm, has absolutely chaotic energy.
This sounds like Brandon Urie possessed an episode of Scooby Doo
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ABSOLUTELY!
Okay, first off, this is 100% my top favorite song from you guys, completely upset that I didn't find y'all sooner; and secondly, it's really funny that this is one of my top favorite songs in general and matches PERFECTLY with one of my favorite characters from this one game I play, literally a match made in heaven 🙏Now take my sub!!
I dont know why this isn't way more popular, this is nuts. Every part is great and unique, the track was great and my god what a vocalist.
im oreforming this at my school talent show next week, wish me luck.
Did it go good? :]
@@Marco_Polo360 awsome
I’ve listened to a lot of your guys stuff for the past 2 weeks i have one word to describe it, BoUnCy
Here's how I imagine the song going out
.
And then him in his castle, panning out from his throne of newfound riches, and endless dead dancing to the rhythm upon a bloodies battlefield.
Happy halloween

ok who gave the edgy bard the necromancer's spell book? im not mad, or even disappointed, just concerned.
Finally a necromancer with some flare and style. Usually necromancers just cry in the corner because they're depressed and don't have any fiends besides bones.
This is the greatest villain song in the greatest musical that hasn't been written yet.

My friend suggested this song to me not even 5 minutes ago and thought I would like it. He was wrong. I love it.
You really gotta appreciate the seamless combination of death threats and glorious guitar, a true masterpiece indeed, or should I say blasterpiece? I'm so very original
I discovered this fantastic band about a month ago, I'm methodically listening to every piece i find, blaster pieces has become a must-playlist
My take on this:
A party of 1 fighter, 1 barbarian, 1 monk, and 1 wizard enter a dungeon
Screenshots of dodging traps and fighting monsters, then a boss fight
They get to the boss chest, their reward
And the song begins with the wizard speaking as he opens the chest, the contents hidden
The moment he says "death", the party looks shocked. He reveals a purple and green electric guitar covered in skull designs, glowing with a green aura, sliding it over his shoulder, holding it in front of him
When he says "lucky for you", he turns around to face the party, his robes turning purple and green, as he draws out their souls, turning them into his first undead
The rest of the song is him raiding towns with his army of undead, all dancing and jamming the whole time
Yes
I just love the way they say evil like actual villains
This song is absolutely incredible and I've had it on loop for the past few days. I've just gone through the rest of this band's releases and as many people have said, the quality of these songs are SCREAMING for more recognition because oh my goodness they are incredible-- absolutely well done to you all
This song should be sang in some kind of rock opera. It's the best! I can totally see the scene.

FINE UA-cam, I'll admit it. You DID have a good reason to continually recommend this video to me for the last 3 years or so. I don't regret finally listening to it. I am enjoying myself.
Now please stop recommending it to me. I know it exists now. I have it saved in my playlist. You can stop now.
God, this song's vibes are impeccable. I keep coming back to it. It helps that UA-cam keeps recommending it to me to relisten.
who named him dinnerbone

OMG.. LMAO 😭😂

I’m soo happy i understand what that means 😂😂😂
im in love with you.
Thanks!
Thank YOU!
Honestly, this band is way too good to not be discovered. I’m just glad UA-cam put you in my recommended. The sensation groove is too high.
I'm using this song for one of the bosses in my DnD campaign. I'm so excited for people to hear this when they meet them.
Years ago I wanted to create a necromancer character that controls the dead with a guitar or bass, I found this song on my search and it was the winner, I’ve loved bear ghost ever since!
This band deserves way more publicity. It's such a good band
I know that vampires and necromancers don't have much in common other then being very powerful and having a connection with death, but this song seriously reminds me of this vampire OC I have. Like, I can totally see him rocking out to this while summoning anyone under his control and just being his overdramatic self
Bro this is how I got Introduced to you all and I’m so happy for it, thank you for this absolute banger😭
Its still one of my party's favorite BBEGs to encounter.
no but bear ghost are so underrated. their songs are genuinely so good and this is still one of my favourite songs by them😭💕
When i saw the title, i was expecting something memeish. Not a MASTERPIECE! THIS is a MASTERPIECE!
If “when I’m necromancin’ everyone’s dancin’” repeated a few times it would be even more perfect
The guy in the background: "wait a minute guys, ill do a handstand, lets not look the weezers"
"Killer moves that will stun" gotta be one of the best lyrics i've ever seen
Can't wait to jam this for the entire month of October. Love it, and so glad I stumbled on the album!
Congratulations. User 136 Your history has deemed you a suitable candidate and have been volunteered for our partisan program. Please veiw the introductory course.
omg, FAV SONG RN!!! I can’t stop listening to this… you’re too cool for me…
I adore absolutely everything about this song, but something that _really_ stuck out to me is the air of superiority the narrator has throughout the entirety of the song.
Tremendous contribution!
OP your brain is HUGE
Anyone who doesn't appreciate this (your comment) is nothing short of a fool. You did a wonderful job explaining!

This is begging for a "thriller" one shot DnD game against a necromancer who takes over a town overnight with dancing zombies and spooky skeletons. *hee hee*
Unironically this has become one of my most favorite songs since I first heard it, I just love the vibes, they're so specific and so fun
This sounds like a bomb ass villain song. Like a rockstar necromancer planning on taking over the world with their song that raises the dead with a chorus of zombies following them around giving them background vocals.
If Overlord was a western anime, I could see this being an opening theme
"The risen are ridden with rhythm and dance" is such a good, catchy line
I think it's because I enjoy good flow and aliteration
best song ive heard this week saw it on a gravity falls edit know ima jam to it all week
Why does this only have 900ish likes and 40k views? What is this, I've stumbled upon pure gold.
I really don't know how this song found me but I sure am glad it did. Even when I first heard it I knew it would become one of my favorites, still in love with both the lyrics and the music itself
