"Snap Max Distance" : When you draw the Transpose Line, and it snaps to a vertex but you want to not have it snap to a vertex, then you can adjust the "Snap Max Distance" in Preferences > Transpose > Snap Max Distance slider. ( If you set it to zero : then no snapping will occur. ) In my experience this setting is pixel dependent : so it depends how far you are zoomed in or out for the Snap Max Distance setting to take effect. This setting is rather important when posing. Hope this helps ...
Nice tutorial, i really enjoyed it, i think hands is one of the most difficult parts to pose, did you hear about a system that use the zspheres to pose, like a skeleton in maya? what do you think about it?
A lot of great information here but far too many words were used to explain everything. You could simply have an overlay of your keys eventually and only explain it the first time. I ended up skipping through after the 10th time I was told you could press shift...

Gary Sebastian Nvm i found it xD
care to share what it is?
How are you getting such smooth antialiased edges of your model in the view port? Mine is all jaggy on the outer edges..
higher document resolution, and making sure your document isnt zoomed in too far (document zoom is different from 3d zoom)

Repeathing the same thing again and again is how you learn. Yeah I know this comment is 1 year old.
was this model done in maya or zbrsuh ?
where did you get the concept art for the model?
Mine does not let do shift d why in recording mode
Well it doesn't drop its polygons lets say
why wouldn't you just export and rig it?
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, but this look 1000x easier
