I used to live on a rural property such as this and trust me, those cats are a blessing in disguise, these people guaranteed don't have a rodent issue. It's literally the only way to keep the little critter population down.
but what's good about mostly feral cat is that its low maintenace. i use to leave in a house in the middle of the forest with a dozen cat roaming around, only like 3 of them would stay inside for most of the time, the rest would just dissapeard days, sometime week and we didn't really have to take care of them. the only problem were when they catch some bird or rabbit and eat them under the sofa. finding some animal remain scattered accross the house is never fun.
I had a neighbor who passed last year. Part of her daily paper route was to 2 farms that had feral cat colonies. She asked each owner if she could feed them. They both told her they didn't care what she did with them. There were 10 at each place. The feral cats in own neighborhood must have gotten the word, cause cats begin showing up around our house all the time. To the point the neighbor next to her complained and those "catcher" cages came out. They caught all the kittens, but neither parent. They all stopped coming around the day after she passed..
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for what this couple has done for these sweet, loving kitties. They are caring & selfless kind loving people. Thank you so much.

Calling them “feral” is a stretch at this point. You guys have hearts of pure gold. I love this. ❤❤
I want to come back as one of your cats.
This is the cutest couple I’ve ever seen, a farmhouse with 16 cats honestly sounds like a dream
Having all of them fixed is a key point. Of course time will cause their numbers to dwindle, so I hope this kind and generous couple will take on some new charges as that happens. A lovely thing to see.
One thing for sure, these awesome owners will never have a mice problem!
Great to see people like this.
Or amy local birds. Or chipmunks. Or squirrels...
@@thisismyrealname2860 oof 😂
@@thisismyrealname2860 squirrels are just rats with fur anyway
@@thisismyrealname2860 actually the mice moved into the house lol
damn I wish I had cats like that
If you are a cat lover then this is your dream house lol. They are all gorgeous and cute. And they seem to be super affectionate. 💜
Facts🎯💯
Yeah lol 🥰🥰🥰
What a great act of kindness to keep the 16 cats. They have designed special room for the cats to stay. 🐈
👍
It's so cool how this couple thinks about cats' comfort and well being.
It's like a herd! Their so fluffy! This is my dream! Great job to these new owners!
I know I love those fluffy ones especially!
It's a clowder. 😂
Proverbs 12:10
I remember how my neighbor had a similar setup with all the feral cats in our neighborhood. She paid me to feed them for a month while she was away, once, and they were the sweetest bunch. A few of them wouldn't let me touch them, but a majority loved to come up to me and cuddle if I sat on the floor of the porch where their bowls were and it was really nice.
That is the sweetest thing. I can't believe all the work you guys did to help those strays! Most people would send them all to the shelter but you guys went above and beyond. These are some loving and kind people. That would be a great place to foster cats/kittens every now and then. (If you are able to let them go lol) Thank you for being such amazing individuals.
Pleased to hear people like you treated the cats the way animals deserve to be treated I hear terrible abusers and neglected true stories glad to hear people like you aren't selfish and can afford to do this thank you for making my day
🥰🥰
What an upgrade, they went from a 1 star hotel to a luxury 5 star and it's about to get even better! Jackpot kitties 💞👏🏽👏🏽
I wouldn’t call them “feral” anymore. I would go with “free range”
Feral cats typically avoid people. These cats are way too friendly.
We just call them barn cats. They are friendly and like attention but live freely outdoors and keep the rodent population down.
I like "free range." Perfect description 😸
The owners said the cats were fed by the previous time owner so obviously the cats are used to humans.
What wonderful, caring people. They are the luckiest cats ever!
I agree!
A feral cat running to you is one of the coolest experiences ever.
I absolutely love this couple!! They have been adopted by 16 kitties!! I love seeing all the little fluffy butts following Mom and Dad!!🥰❤😻
I live on a farm house and we have aprox 20 cats. People drop kittens in the field *EVERY* spring . They have their own barn and get feed everyday. There are several little houses all over the property for them. They are just like house cats, they 💕 people and to be cuddled.
Basically every year you “unwillingly” get more cats. Then the ones you have already teach the new one to love you as they love you, etc etc
People are assholes
“There are 16 feral cats on the property is that a dealbreaker?”
Me: “16 free to love fur babies? A dealbreaker? More like dealmaker”
You can never have just one

They essentially adopted all 16 cats without regrets and then did everything in their power to care for them....if that's not love I don't know what it 💜

What?
I love that you embraced the fact that you have 16 cats...I had one cat that moved into my new home uninvited (I had just lost my cat and had decided no more) and he was the best cat ever! Hats off to you and your family 💕
2:32 I love how one cat is just loafing on top of the cat house 🐈 🐾
Yes,😂❤🐈.
So cute 😍!
🥺🥹🤩🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much. These cats are blessed to have both of you. I can relate. My mom and her neighbor rescues and release cats they find. They pay out of pocket for all of their needs. Growing up I always thought she was crazy. Our home was a cat home, never our home. Now that I am older I appreciate everything she did. She gave them love and attention. I forward her this video and she started crying. You 2 saved them and didn't pish them out of their home. Continued blessing for both of you!❤
This brought tears to my eyes. You guys are my heroes, to show so much love and kindness. Thank you!
Wow …just wow! The love, time, & consideration for these pretty little wonders. Grateful for your caring hearts to keep them ALL safe and entertained!!!
As a mom of 4 cats. This speaks to my soul. What wonderful humans.
So beautiful 🥰🥰
16 feral cats with the home sale , realtor "is that going to be a dealbreaker ....?" home buyer "nope !" love it !
@@bebenut123 lol , that 's true !
What a great story.
So kind of this lovely couple to take care of all these kitties. They will be rewarded with the kitties unconditional love. Thank you Emily and Dylan, you both are amazing, very special people. 🥰🥰🥰
This is by far the coolest, sweetest thing this couple could have done for these furballs. They gained these cats trust which is such a difficult thing to do. Once you have that the love just comes pouring in and it feels wonderful. I love the cat house that they built for those 16 cats. I so wish I had the money to do that for my fur babies. This is amazing, thank you for sharing this with us.
The fact that she knew to just hang out until they became comfortable shows that either she's done this before or she was a cat in a past life. Lol.
That has to be the coolest cat "rescue" ever! I wish everyone thought like this, but I understand that not everyone has the money to do something like this. Kudos to this couple for having a heart.
I have 2 feral barn cats i took in. Started with feeding them. Then i trapped and gort them shots etc spayed. My vet was awesome since i was rescuing them she didnt charge for the neutering. And only charged me for the shots rabies etc. They live in my home and lord over it. My wife died 2 years ago if i didnt have the cats i dont know how i would have been.
@@sroevukasroevuka - Cats are so much fun to have, loveable and always make me happy.
@@sroevukasroevuka, my precious gift from God died almost 24 years ago and I, like you, would have been lost without my cats. I once had ten indoor only and one outside feral but time and nature have reduced my ten to six and a cruel neighbor shot and killed my feral (thankfully, Hurricane Michael came along and forced that neighbor to leave). Cat haters have no idea at the peace and comfort cats can bring. My cats are my children. They just happen to walk on four paws, are covered in fur and purr.
You were meant to buy that farmhouse & take care of the kitties. I’m glad you have the heart & ability to do it. ❤
THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE YOU ARE GIVING THESE PRECIOUS CATS. Do take care. Fl.
You people are great, fantastic, loving and full of grace and mercy.
Those kitties are very, very fortunate and nothing is by accident!
You know you’re a cat person when you catch yourself smiling through a video like this.
and crying lol
Terrific story! Beautiful property and the cats are gorgeous. Thank you for giving them a safe, warm place to relax on cold winter nights.
These cats won the lottery with their new neighbours 😍😻. You both prooved to be so warmhearted people, we need more of you in the world! I don't know many people who would adopt 16 cats in a moment! 👍
Wow, those cats lucked out with the new owners. They really went above and beyond....so sweet and loving.
The amount of effort this couple put for the cats is awesome!
“Is this going to be a deal breaker?” “No” I imagine most ppl who looked @ the property be4 said yes. Nobody want’s to buy a property where right off the bat they have to take care of 16 feral cats. I’m glad they said yes, went above & beyond to take care of them & we’re able to socialize thm!!

I hope The Dodo posts the new upgraded cat room when it’s done. What wonderful people who care for and love these guys😺😸🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈🐈
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for what this couple has done for these sweet, loving kitties. They are caring & selfless kind loving people. Thank you so much.
Wow! Kudos to you for understanding you not only bought a house, but 16 cats that go with it. Most people would’ve trapped them and bundled them off to the shelter. You had them all fixed - yay! Now their own heated cat room. I can’t tell you how wonderful you are! I wish everyone had this much respect and love that you do 💋
Sooooo many cats!, I admire this family for taking care of these many kitties!
This couple are AMAZING! They not only thought about shelter, but they also got them all fixed!!!
The love, though & care that they've put into the indoor shelter is incredible ❤ & look how appreciative the kitties are. "Barn cat" or not, they need affection & love too & this couple shows them that as well.
What a lovely video to see in times like this. Thank you 😊❤❤🇨🇦❤❤
This is like the cat island in Japan. This couple was so welcoming to their presence and really hooked them up with the heated/comfortable cat room.

I think you are amazing to take on these kitties and love them as family! If I can ever afford property that is MINE, I will make sure I have very few neighbors, and will have a small colony! I may not be able to afford to do this, but I will do something that will make their cat dreams come true! You did this right, and it must be SO rewarding!
Y'all turn your out building into a cat dorm, amazing. And happy they all are now fixed. Y'all are so generous and caring. Thank y'all so much for providing these cats with things they've never had before. These fur babies are living a life of luxury now, all because y'all care about them like no one else had.❤️👏😸🐾
Thank God there are still people like you in the world!
Thank you for caring for these cats and keeping them on the property. This was a very selfless and loving thing to do for them. Imagine the trauma they would’ve gone through had they been trapped and brought to a shelter. I hope they all have been fixed and shotted. Great job with the cat room!
