In this video we will see how to make a 100% whole wheat bread using straight dough method. The bread is soft and fluffy.
I have used 24 Mantra Organic Whole Wheat Flour for this recipe.
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour - 420 gm
Milk and water -.300 ml
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Yeast - 3/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Egg - 1
Olive oil - 2 tbsp

Tried it, came out softer than commercial bread!! Thank you! Although in my oven 45 minutes proved to be much longer than needed, mentioned for anyone who may use black and decker OTG.

Hi love your videos! Could you tell me how long the kneading took approximately? Because in the middle of kneading I feel like I’m too deep in the sea to go back and also doubtful of whether I’m doing it right and if I will reach the end point!😅

Is it locally milled flour or store bought one? Mam.
All your bread recipes are foolproof and gave me the confidence to get into whole grain baking.
Among all the methods that you have tried lo ke tangzhong, rubaud which method would you suggest for best texture and softer crumb. If there is one pls give the link here.

Hi chechy, fantastic recipe.I have tried whole wheat bread many times, but my dough never passed window pane test. Which brand of whole wheat flour are u using?if using homemade flour can you please guide me,do we need to boil the whole wheat before milling?
Thanks Sumi...I have used 24 Mantra Organic Wheat Flour.. for homemade flour ..just wash and dry in sun and get it milled from the local flour mill if possible..

Can we replace egg with flax seeds in place 50 ml milk
Yes you can add 50 ml water and flax seeds
In the written recipe on the screen, it says 1 against flour. Please clarify whether it's 1 cup or 1 kg or something totally different?

Thank you mam..tried it was lil gooey but tasted amazing..how many cups is 420gms mam I added 1 and 1/2 cup atta but still it was lil gooey and not solid like yours mam

Tried but came out quite dense. Any reason y ? I baked for 20 mins and got a hollow sound. That's the mistake I can think of. My first proofing was good . However, second proofing, the bread did not rise much. My yeast is good as I am baking regularly
What flour did you use...

Hi Nikita.. thank you for trying out the recipe... what wheat flour did you use..also if the dough is over proofed during the second rise..then the bread will not rise in the oven and might turn out dense...
