  • The rear wheel hub bearings in the Unicorn are BAD and by that I mean that they are very bad. Road noise, grinding sounds, poor performance and sagging wheels all because of the bearings going out. Within the last 18 months I've already replaced both front wheel hub assemblies now the rears are in bad shape and it's time to replace them. I've got a pretty detailed video here on what needs to happen to replace the Rear Hub Assembly for an 2008 AWD Chrysler Sebring it's a bit different than the front wheel drive version because of the CV Axles or Half Shafts or whatever term you want to use.

Thank you for the walk through. I have a 2010 sebring and the rear end started to wobble on the freeway. I'm going to check the wheels for loose bearing.

Unfortunately that's not the only thing you should look for, today as in Saturday Feb 3 I'm going to be replacing the rear wheel housing bushings and toe link adjustment arm. My rear end is all over the place in rain and on snow. It is also eating back tires, 3rd new set of rear tires will be going on the car later this week because of the bushings being shot. A new video will be coming soon showing in detail this disaster waiting to happen, but once I get these bushings replaced and the toe link replaced, I can take the car in for an alignment and hopefully make it so that it stops eating my rear tires like it's a Thanksgiving dinner for the Sebring.
