1A Auto shows you how to repair, install, fix, change or replace a worn out, vibrating or groaning wheel bearing hub. This video is applicable to the 05, 06, 07, 08 Chrysler 300

Just pop out the centre cap on the heel and break the axle nut free while the vehicle is on the ground.

Best instructional I've ever seen. However, it took me 3 hours because after mating new hub I finally realized what looked like could go on either way (180) could not. The hub fits only ONE way. I wish you detailed that. After that half day struggle I completed the other side in 15 mins.

An excellent video of what to look for and how to do the intricate work of removing / installing the rear wheel bearing. I'm about to have an estimate on having my left rear done on my 2013 Dodge Charger with ABS.
For the 4 E Torx. You can get 3 out easily. But the fourth is a real tough one to get out. Id suggest taking out the strut. Save you some time.
You can also loosen the axle nut before lifting the vehicle off the ground then you don't have to use the wrench method

I purchased a new hub for my 2015 Chrysler 300s AWD, and your site had this video in the "how to" video link. These hubs are not the same with how they attach. You have no torque specs for the 4 e12 bolts, and the cap nut torque in this is 184 foot lbs, but the paper it came with says 157 foot lbs. Now I'm having the same issues with a bad bearing I just bought
Are the front and rear axle nuts the same size? My front ones say do not reuse, is it the same for the rear?
i had big problems to reach screws of rear wheel bearings(5.7,awd) , because there is no space for tool, so must swing/bent cv joint to get some space , front is piece of cake

The one u have on the website no longer has the backing bolt holes thst mean u have to press out the old one now?
Is it a bad idea to reuse the 32mm center axle nut instead of a new one? it's a 2012 Challenger RT.

This part is interchangeable with the rear hub assembly of a 2006-2008 Dodge Charger. I have an 06' Charger SE, would installation be exactly the same as in this video? I wasn't sure if the axle nut size (32mm) and inverted torx bolts (e12) were the same size on my Charger.
Does anyone know what is the torque for the 4 E-12 inverter bolts that hold the Hug thank you .
are hubs /bearings on awd same on front and rear wheels? and are the same as rear hub on rwd?

i watch this video for quite a few times just how to get these e-torx screws out and there's no special equipment really to get these out easily. just patience and perseverance even if you take a whole day just removing these...

Is this the same for 08 dodge magnum?
what is the inner diameter of this hub? the ones with the splines.
Did the new assembly come with the new hub nut? If not, what would be the part number for that nut? I can only seem to find the front wheel nut and not the rear.

Seems it’s a dealer only part which is by order only. It can be purchased along with the axles if that’s what you’re replacing though. Should be included along with the new wheel hubs in my opinion.

I wanted to know if u can help . I've taken my car into the shop because my 2002 ford focus with manual transmission has a humming noise and the wheel bearings got fixed but the humming noise is still there so can u tell me what else can cause a humming noise from the front end I've spent way to much money taking my car in over and over almost everything on my car is brand new so if u can help I'd really really appreciate it.

Dodge 300 is it the same as a dodge avenger i have a 2010
Chrysler 300, Challenger and Dodge chargers are near identical. The avenger is not the same.

Those rear wheel bearings don't look to be more than any more of than a half an hour job if that. A little fishy seeing as my last mechanic billed me 2 hours for the same exact vehicle make and model as what's in this video 🤔 they went by the time estimate in the book when doing billing rather than the actual amount of time it took him. As I was at this shop for the entire time that my vehicle was being worked on for inspection. Should this be legal or should they stick to the actual time they took rather than what's in the book. I know how long it took him because I was at the shop that day there were other things being repaired but I noted two hours on the bearing repair Knowing damn well it didn't take him that long as I was watching him work on my car. They said they bill by the book when I asked about it and I needed my vehicle so I just paid instead of arguing so they wouldn't put a lien on my vehicle cuz I had an appointment for surgery the next day and needed to drive so I just paid it.
I replaced my hubs an now my abs light won't go off an I have no traction
