The water never touches the PVC pipe just the blue tubing. The PVC pipe is just to seal the air chamber so the pump works. The sizes of the PVC pipes depend on the size of the holes in the sink. I suggest just grabbing a bunch of fittings from home depot and playing with different combinations until you get it to fit.
This DIY Tiny Kitchen could be built with a typical faucet that is plumbed. There are also electric pumps for 5 gallon jugs on amazon.

It is amazing how practical and minimalistic your designs are. You do an amazing job. Can't wait to see the shipping container build, watch out for those choyo cactus' they have a tendency to jump out a get you.

A tip. Instead of a water container activated by pump, you could raise it and have water flowing thru gravity only.
An acrylic project followed by a plumbing project -- do I see an aquarium project in your future? :) (Btw, as someone who got my initial taste of making by turning the guest bedroom in my condo into a giant reef aquarium, I think that would be awesome, just sayin... )
Wow this kitchen table can be used as a portable workbench if you leave out the sink. It looks really sturdy and stable. Good build.
Everytime you put a stove or burner indoors, always put something on the walls where the stove or burner will be put. This is in order to prevent the stains or dirt which will accumulate through time because of the splash from the foods, oils and smoke. A foldable wood or metal plate can be put on the side of the table where the stove is located can be added! 😀😀😀

For your next camping project, I suggest a lightweight chuckbox. The renowned but discontinued Beaver Tree camping box and Campmate camping kitchen would be a great inspiration for a future project. There are many chuckboxes available but the heavyweight make them undesirable. Cheers!

Looks cool and functional, just had a thought I wanted to share-You could get a wide roll of flashing and cover the top with it to make it more durable in the weather and fire resistant. I think it would impart a nice industrial look. Might try this myself for the yard this summer, if I do I'll be sure to tag you on IG...

Your videos are always inspiring and just awesome! Since my girlfriend and I think about buying a van and build it into a camper van, it would be wonderful to see you do that. I know that there are many videos out there about that already. But I really would enjoy seeing you do that and also, as you always give a good explanation, found it very helpful. Don't know how likely it is that you will do that but that would be my first camping DIY thought! :)
Handpump is of course a greener option, but there is a battery run pump choice too, in case you’re interested :) quite a cool idea and design ;)

Great this can be a barbeque table i have 1 next to my grill we made and is nice to wash most of the stuff outside since i can afford a built in kithen i got a DIY table and spend all the money in a nice grill love this portable 1 do.

this is awesome. i’m looking to do a DIY outdoor grill/kitchen that’s modern and clean looking. i have a gas grill but would love to have counter space for prepping the food and this sink thing you made would be perfect for what i’m trying to achieve. i’d love to see you create something that can incorporate shelves for dishes (clean and dirty) to avoid having to go back and forth into the house. if anyone was to design a DIY outdoor grill kitchen (that i would like) it would be YOU and Jessie!

Instead using the hand water pump, I think it is better to flip the water gallon so you have 2 free hand when washing dishes or foods! 😁
DIY autofire/log feeder? Theres a few videos of them around. But it would be great to have a couple compact rails ready to set up. Its essentialy just a ramp that gradually feeds logs to a fire as the old ones burn through.

I would include a toaster oven. I would also use a two burner hot plate instead of a single burner.
Make the countertop out of concrete! Also put crushed beer bottles in the concrete to give it a speckled look!

Could you use a foot pump on the sink? That way, if your hands are dirty, you're not contaminating the top of the pump and recontaminating your hands
Very nice but have question. Instead of hand pump sink , could you show a foot pedal operated sink. That way your not worrying about holding down the hand pump to get water. Again nice idea but like to see or suggestions for foot pedal sink.

cool idea...but for practicality...you could just make cold cut sandwiches out of a cooler and buy a bottle of hand sanitizer...probably more environmentally friendly...easier to prepare...less space...cost efficient...minimalist (which is more modern by extension)...i like this idea more for a minimalist off grid kitchen than simple camping

Yeah, and this approach would require a lot of extra steps for the sink hole, even if it was otherwise functional. An handle or two on the back of the countertop wouldn't be a bad idea, though.
Why do you use a pump and dont bring the bottle higher and use some kind of tap? It will be much more functional...
