- In this video I replace and recalibrate my Delta Pressure Sensor on my 2016 Freightliner Cascadia DD13 Engine. Very easy install. A bad DP Sensor will reduce Engine Power by 25% and will issue Emissions Related Fault Codes.
Replacement part # 310D/DDE-23539639. It was $177.33 with sales tax.
Where is the DPF delta pressure sensor? 2014 DD13 cascadia 125 throwing a code that my DPF pressure sensor it throwing high codes. Thanks
If I don’t have an engine light on, could I still have this issue? When I’m shifting gears, my truck will bog down and then take off like normal.
No, this sensor will throw an Check Engine Light and is controlled by ECM. It sounds like you have a out of balance flywheel or bad clutch.
@@jackofalltrades7417 literally a few hours after I asked this question, it threw the engine light. So I tore it apart and it sure enough was the delta pressure sensor. So thank you for posting this video. Truck runs great now.
@@John.Alphonso Excellent to hear
What is that thing that you have for bypassing the trailer light fuse?
There is nothing bypassing trailer light fuse, please specify what you are referring to.
@Jack of all Trades the thing stuck to your dash in the knee area. You said that your trailer light fuse was out, but you don't have to worry about it because you have that thing.
@@berniesands6201 Oh that is the trailer brake controller, that's what controlled my old 5-car hauler. It was equipped with electric brakes. My new trailer is air brakes, so that controller is out now.
@@jackofalltrades7417 aww okay 👍
Love it tkns
Thank you for the video, very helpful, my truck has the same issue , got the parts, but no computer, what should I do without computer? Please help!!
I have used DTNA Connect, which costs about $550 a year for the software along with a laptop and a NEXIQ which is about $799. So it’s gets gets quite costly for a DIY repair.
See if you can find an aftermarket scan tool that can clear that code, no programming needed. Just clearing the fault code. Worst case, you may have to visit your local dealer and have them clear it. Good luck
Thank you for the great info,
Do you have to recalibrate the new sensor after replace the old one ???
I don't think so. I did have a check engine light that I cleared, and no issues since then.
@@jackofalltrades7417 Thank you
What scanner do you recommend for the m2?
I use Detroit's Application, you will need a laptop and Nexiq USB Link 2 in order to communicate, then the application is $550 annually. The rest of the regular scan tools are not very good and won't really do anything.
@@jackofalltrades7417 Do you have link for application?
What code is it throwing
Great video boss where did you get the software program? For the freightliner ?
You can download it from Detroit, or snap on, runs $550 plus tax annually, and you need Nexiq connector to hook it up, an additional $750

Ok thank you for the reply
I’ll contact Detroit tomorrow morning
@@cumminsMoney no problem, here is the site where you can download the application l. diagnosticlink.nexiq.com/DTNA/Default.aspx.
Freightliner dealers will direct you to this site
