This is important information. A lot of young people need to see this. We are rapidly losing tradesmen and women. Great video!

FYi, if you didn't know. Pittsburg tool have a lifetime warranty, so even though they are budget friendly, they stand by their quality.

My favorite tool from harbor freight is the plastic level for $1.99. It weighs nothing. Switch to my regular brick level when I’m running conduit.

Great video, Stephen. I really enjoy the message you put across in this video. For folks in the trades, and people looking to just be handy around the home, it is important to not feel pressured into buying the most expensive and 'popular' tools just for the sake of buying name brands. Get tools that work, and that one can afford. There are so many other things in life where that hard earned money can be spent. Ignore that haters and keep doing your thing. I look forward to watching your journey unfold.

I really appreciate it Brother! When I decided to document my journey and share it with the world the sole purpose was to show others who might have been in a similar position as myself that’s it’s other opportunities out there and that you can make a great career out of the Trades it if you work hard. Hopefully they can learn the positives & my mistakes and strive to be the best version of themselves. One tool at a time & get what you can afford, you couldn’t have said it better.. Thanks for the support & following the journey brother..🙏🏽

Not an electrician but I do buy all my tools at HF for working on my car at home. PLEASE DO NOT BUY those Pittsburg pliers @ the 5:40 mark, they are utter trash and will fall apart the first time you drop them or throw them...ask me how I know. Do yourself the favor and go with the Quinn ones, buy once cry once...that way they aren't falling apart on you at a job site. They are a bit extra but they feel so much better in the hands and stand up to a beating. Also, if you have never shopped at HF the prices on those were for if you had the Inside Track Membership, otherwise you'e paying full price of $20 for the 5 piece set, not $14.99. The electrical tape is trash too, never sicks right.
Otherwise nice video, Pittsburg does have a Lifetime Warrenty on almost all their hand tools so if you break anything else you can just walk into HF and get a new one without any issues.

I spoke with one of the team members at Harbor Freight & they were the ones that pointed me in the direction of the Pittsburgh Pliers.. Definitely thanks for letting me know and the other apprentices that watch the video..
Thanks for the Advice & Support!
      Happy New Years Brother..🙏🏽

@@TheApprenticeToJourneyman Bauer and Hurcules are both decent budget brands at HF. Keep an eye on the website and sign up for the coupons as they arealway running dealsfor buying the sets with charger/battery with the tool or giving you a free tool if you buy a battery. Inside Track Membership isn't that expensive and will give you extra discounts all year that pays for itself pretty quick if you shop there enough.
