Very Goonies-esque, and I love it! Feels like a fun movie for all family members. And yeah, I really hope those online bullies will keep away from the child actors.
I'm digging it. I love the Goonies vibe, which along with Star Wars was one of the movies I had on repeat as a kid. Combine the two and you've got me on board for this adventure for sure. Looking forward to sharing this one with my kids.
Loving the techno music being used by Star Wars in more recent projects. I think there was a battle in The Clone Wars that used similar music. Edit: it's The Battle of Bothawui
Honestly I down for a predictable and fun little story. I feel like I already know the characters and how it’ll all end but I’m still looking forward to it. Watch people trey to compare it to episode three lol. People need to chill and realise they aren’t gonna love literally everything and that doesn’t mean it’s okay to shit all over it. Star Wars fans are the worst, speaking as a Star Wars fan. Be more positive
@@WardLafferty-p6w Sorry, but it was Peter Schilling who sang Major Tom, both the German and English releases. Thompson Twins never did a version, I'm afraid.
I wish people would stop referring to the past: The Goonies. Never watched, will never watch it. Stick to the present, and leave the show do its own thing without the handicap of some crappy past show.
It depends how you express that criticism, a lot of people who criticise have no tact. That's why I say direct comments to the showrunners and not the kids.
You are allowed to be critical of the film, the cinematography, and yes, even the acting. But it has to be in good faith. You can critical without being divisive. There's a difference between "I didn't like series that much, I think the acting felt a bit stiff and mechanical, and I could not connect to the child actors" and "Those dumbass kids don't deserve to be acting in ANYTHING! Who TF hired them! This is the reason Star Wars sucks and I hope those stupid kids never get hired by Disney, and their parents never let them see the light of day." Granted I'm over exaggerating here, but you catch my drift.
This trailer succeeding in finally getting me more hyped for this series...and the huttese cover of Major Tom definitely helped!
The original intro song is by Peter Schilling and was a number 1 hit in the early 80s. Its the Goal Anthem of the German football Team.
Everything i see of skeleton crew looks really good, fun, & even cinematic. Im hoping it becomes a sleeper hit! We need a win

Liking the look of this, feels kinda fresh and exciting. Definitely 80’s vibes going on. Looking forward to watching the series.
This takes place during the Mando timeline which is why Dave and Jon are executive producers.

Gostei muito do Trailer

The song is a Huttise cover of the Thompson Twins Major Tom.

@ it was a big hit for the Thompson Twins in the 80’s.

The original song is called *Space Oddity* and is sung by David Bowie in 1969. 🙂
Goonies in Space sign me up.This is Star ⭐ Wars Pirates in space like it how about Hondo.....
We saw Jude law use a force move at the end of the teaser trailer do you think he somehow faked that
This looks good,,the last show was abysmal

Ironic given how many people who hate Star Wars now only want to refer to George Lucas' Star Wars.
Shill.
Why cant the child actors be critiqued for their acting skill? Thats literally how we grow and evolve and become better.

I would say the criticism should fall to the director who makes the choice to show spotty acting. The kid is just a kid doing their best
It’s not Star Wars. It’s goonies 2.0 it’s not gonna save Star Wars and it’s for kids simple as that.
Well you don't have to watch it then do you?
