This movie captures the epitome of motherhood so well. Throughout the entire movie we see the robot slowly breaking down, giving so much of herself to complete her task of raising a gossling. The only thing that keeps her going at the end when she is on the verge of shutting down permanently is when the gossling nuzzles up to her neck and tells her he loves her, giving her renewed strength and purpose, making all her efforts and self-sacrifice worth it. It so accurately dipicts the struggle moms face in raising children, while also masterfully showing how love and meaning more than make up for it in the end. @@Ripple1111 you’re expressing an opinion & not being a jerk about it so normally I’d just pass it by but it just seems a little sad to me & kinda myopic. Which has been a recurring theme in laments about SW since ESB hit theatres & certainly w/ the prequels. I’ve had my own challenges w/ SW content over the years when I tried reading SotME & HS@SE and could never get through them or see them as having anything to do w/ George’s movies at least to the degree that I cared and so never took an interest in the EU (except SotE). When TCW started I figured it just wasn’t for me but eventually ended up watching it all. Curiously and quite opposite to the bitter EU fans we hear so much from, the Disney purchase freed me of my bias against non-GL content. It’s an entire GalaxyFFA open to a wide range of storytelling. And as such not everything needs to be for everybody either. Young Jedi Adventures, young reader, Junior novels, YA books, comics, adult books, TCW, Rebels, BB, etc, etc, etc… aren’t made for everybody necessarily either. But we all go through ebbs and flows in our tastes over time & it’ll be here for ya to come back to if things change for you (like the dads here commenting about this maybe being the access point that works for their particular kids). And if not, it happens, things and/or ppl change and there are other things to move on to. Strictly speaking though it must be said that Palps & Vader are dead at this point so they literally aren’t a part of this world anymore (until “somehow”🥴🙄🤦♂️🤬). But also did you imagine that every kid lived miserable lives throughout an entire galaxy; or that there are no kids, or they were all enlisted, or now all being subjected to the Hux programming, or everyone in the galaxy has regular run-ins w/ the greatest evils / highest ranking officials of the galaxy, or… what 🤷♂️. I’m guessing you never watched the Ewok TV movies (BoE & CoC) ? I wouldn’t blame ya, they’re… not great. Or any of TCW eps w/ kids/younglings ? The suburbs are very familiar looking to us so I get that being a challenge to see past. I suspect Tunisians, Italians, Spaniards, & to some degree Central & South Americans have all long held a similar feeling. Part of the story is that they come to find that others they run into have never heard of their planet & that may factor into why it looks they way it does. But maybe it’ll be a bad choice that we’ll all continue to struggle w/. Wim’s (& Fern’s) story in particular also looks to be very coming of age ANH-ESB Luke meets Goonies as pitched. Throw in some pirates that Han, Lando, & Hondo would recognize themselves in, blasters, space ships, pew pews, aliens, different worlds etc. All seems very prototypical SW @ a younger age & not inherently in conflict w/ the possibilities of GFFA to me. 🤷♂️

I hate saying this as I’ve been a Star Wars fan since I first saw A New Hope as a kid but I think I may have just outgrown Star Wars. It’s clearly not aimed at me anymore which is fine. Unfortunately it just doesn’t have any Star Wars feels for me 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@Ripple1111 it’s always been aimed at kids. 🤣
Bro, this show is literally geared to young teens and kids, It will have moments for anyone to enjoy. If you've outgrown Star Wars, so be it.
@@TheDarkPorkins that’s literally what I mean, it looks like a fun sci-fi show but (to me) it bares no resemblance to Star Wars. I hope people really enjoy it though.
@@feistyfan2344 correct, however as I say it just doesn’t feel like Star Wars to me. I can’t imagine Vader or Palpatine being part of this world 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@Ripple1111 you’re expressing an opinion & not being a jerk about it so normally I’d just pass it by but it just seems a little sad to me & kinda myopic.
