Hi Tony, I think a lot of people use our videos to help them sleep! 🤣🤣 We should be at the a Bolton Toy Fair again nest year so please say hello. Have a great Christmas and a happy new year. All the best Rick and Pauline.
That is a cool display case 🙂 it's had a history in the hobby, so makes it more special to display some of your collection in, I think it would look great in your living room 😉
Hi their Rick. Well, I do need to watch your others!!! I have been out of town on work ... Fun lol!!! So, jumping right into the great Trains!! And now time for the BIG PA lol!!! O wow the Coal wagons I just got some of those:)!!!! Just great Rick so did you do the Dicast cars just for me lol nice ones!!!!!! James Bond and some Dinky's and Corgi's too do like the Rolls Royce in your video it has a Green box wow 22.23 nice!!! No there are two lol the Green one and a Blue one both are Silver Clouds lol yes!! So much to look at wow I did enjoy my trip with you all :). Great Video you too and thank you :).
Hi Brad, yes I too am behind on UA-cam. Things are very chaotic at the moment and I can't wait for things to calm down. We have quite a few cars for our railway including a Bentley. Silver Cloud I'm guessing a certain Beatle had a psychedelic one! All the best Rick.
Oh here we go again on my fortnightly fix to a model train show. No effort on my part thanks to Rick and Pauline. Hello to you both and thanks once again. What a pleasure.
Great show guys, some fantastic finds and yes the mainline case would look great in the front room! 😜 Some great Wrenn models at this show, I would of certainly come out a few ££ lighter 😊👍 Thank you and keep up the great work 👍
Interesting to see the different versions of the Wrenn wagons. I didn’t realise the variation in packaging, let alone the livery difference on the Saxa wagons. ‘Every day is a school day’ as they say….
It's a minefield collecting Wrenn wagons, so many different versions of wagons made over 20 something years. Prices vary massively due to vastly differing production numbers. Thankfully I'm not massively into the Wrenn wagons so I have saved myself a small fortune. Locos is a different matter though! All the best Rick
The famous Mainline display case, I think a lot of you followers are jealous on that, but I think you should give it to me, my wife has no problem putting it up in the lounge😜 Old shop displays are so rare and are a real tread to the real collector. I also collect pre ww2 live steam engines, and one of my friends stumbled on a steam engine driven turn table display, build as a pyramid cake stand. This artifact was factory made to exhibit there steam engines in a shop display. Imagine a shop display surviving more than 100 years in one piece, these things where in the first place never made to be sold and thereby almost all been lost in time and ending up in land fils. Anyway, great fair, did see a lot of want to haves again, thanks again for the entertaining video… Cheers, Danny
Hi Danny, the Mainline display case will look good in the railway room and be safely out of harm's way. A cake stand would have more chance with Pauline. All the best Rick
I enjoy your bargain hunting and shows you check out I did go to the Greenfield show (no car these days) but you did Stalybridge show in the Scout Hut (had to go to hospital so missed it) and I was very excited STALYBRIDGE the Tame Valley Club did one in Dukinfield by the Scouts L miss that very much
Hi Keith, we used to enjoy the Dukinfield show and it's a shame the club can no longer hold the exhibition there. We do enjoy the Saddleworth show especially as I grew up not a million miles away from the museum in which it is held. Thanks for watching Rick.
1:28 That's an interesting way to create a cement hopper, as they usually are very short vehicles if its a bogie version 1:53 Are these locomotives re-relased as an updated version by other manufacturers? Getting any large locomotive for 50 pounds is a bargain 5:22 Similar things were done on the German 01.10, but most of the streamlining remains totally disappeared later. The things that were visible for a while were the smokebox door with the top part missing, and a few casing supports below the cabin. 9:23 Austrian Rebuilt E94, 500 grams of raw pulling power with a large motor. It surprises me that the UK hasn't started hoarding the Fleischmann UK coaches (which are also visible here), as they are the only thing that fits the HO Flying Scotsman. 23:03 Check out 'Johns Amazing Trains' channel, he has multiple complete sets of that running
At the back of the ‘cake stall’ is a box set for Moreton C Cullimore’s trucks. The firm is based near Frocester, Glos. As I grew up on a canal boat nearby in the mid-1960s, and then in Stroud, I remember their lorries very well. All their vehicles were named after characters in Dickens. Many of the lads at school ‘spotted’ them using a typed fleet list supplied by the company. Corgi have produced several models and sets, some in limited editions, but all in scale 1:50 which, very sadly, is no good for my OO layout.
Hi Will, it must have been quite the upbringing on a canal boat. We see the seller at most fairs and he specialises in wagons and the like. The other speciality is of course cake and we have suggested transporting the cake via a suitable truck. All the best Rick
We have been to Elsecar many times and we did the Barnsley show last year. We will probably be going again but I would have to check our diary to be sure. All the best Rick
A great collection of shots from these shows. Always so much to see and look at. I am curious on your take on the Ringfield (sp?) motors. I hear so many complain about them and wonder why they have been around so long and, I think, are still in use. Also, I see you are starting to compete with Mark at Piddle in the Marsh for names in your end credits.
Hi Anthony, thanks for watching, the Wrenn Ringfield motors are great but I seem to have had a few iffy ones. Not familiar with Mark at Piddle Marsh but I will go and check him out. All the best Rick
Another great Sunday treat for us all.
Thanks Deano
Great bargains love the cabinet very nice to see the back paper with it thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Clive, can't wait to get that cabinet up on the wall and filled with Mainline models. Thanks for watching Rick.
Another Sunday Treat. Such a good selection of stock and bargains. Thanks for sharing. Cheers and keep healthy. 🎉
Thanks Paul all the best to you too

The little black Hornby 4-4-0. I had that too. Very reliable loco. Very strong magnetic wheels
Yes mine ran like a dream!

Hi yes it's a very nice bit of memorabilia isn't it. Nice chance of going in the living room though. 😂😂
@@wellchuffedrailways would be the same here lol I'll let her off as our living room doesn't have enough space for my collection anyways 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Ivo, the ex Mainline 56 was released again by Dapol and then Hornby. Hornby now does a complete retooled version. Thanks for watching Rick.

Sweeeeeet observation
Will you consider coming to both the elsecar toy fair and barnsley model exhibitions this year?
We have been to Elsecar many times and we did the Barnsley show last year. We will probably be going again but I would have to check our diary to be sure. All the best Rick

But the Stalybridge show you will find was in Newton Hyde not Stalybridge

Confessions of a Wrenn nerd!😅
Guilty as charged! 😂😂
