    To be honest, I'm still learning this one! I figured it out enough to make a quick tutorial but I think I'm gonna end up making an more in depth one later on because I can think of a lot of other uses for this!
    As the title states though, this is a quick run through on making a forward scrolling background. It mainly uses particles to generate random elements that can be moved through 3D space without a lot of work to create the illusion!
    It is easy and fun to do but you really need to play with the setting to make it look just right!

    Great tut. Picked up several tips here. This can still work on Debut except for the particles. Just have to do individual objects. Thanks for the tut.

    • @Poptoogi
      @Poptoogi  4 роки тому

      I'm gonna try and make a semi-large tutorial just for beginners that is broken down into small 5 to 10 minutes segments soon. I've been getting more and more requests for that kind of thing lately and I now realize that although I have hundreds of tutorial videos it's almost impossible to know where to start. But just know I'm working on it! :)

    lets say instead of trees
    you wanted debris to be in the background...
    I want to do a background where a tornado is throwing debris thus the debris should "bouncing" on the ground and stops at a certain point

    ShoNuff93::How did you get the idea of your character??? I know its you but what did you use to get the basic outlines like the first image you used, I'm just curious. And to give me an idea on what I need to follow the same steps, as you did with your character.

    • @Poptoogi
      @Poptoogi  7 років тому

      I just kept trying different looks. The character changed several times. At first it was more like a family guy character then I wanted to make it more of a chibi style (bigger head, smaller body) and ended up with this. You just keep tweaking something until it feels right I suppose. I started with a square for each body part and just kept adding to it until if looked how I wanted it to but it to hours and hours over weeks until I finally had something I liked. It's like anything you make, it just takes time. Keep working on it and eventually, it will look how you want it.

      ShoNuff93::thank you for the reply, checked out the chibi style characters they do stand out,, well you gave me some ideas...I'm gonna start working on my character, and your video the beginning of it is cool funny, great work.

      Here is a great tutorial by the guys at Incredible tutorials that explain how to make a side-scrolling background with a brush. This would be much more difficult with particles as they generate randomly! Check this out though! Great technique! ua-cam.com/video/_n9Bztbklzg/v-deo.html

      Eli Mitchell I'm not a 3d modeler so I don't know how to do that but if. You're just doing 2d like in this cartoon you make a front everything that goes in front of the character and then make another layer for the back like the backseat and the back window and you put them all into one folder so you can move the folder around as one object.

      You is possible to make a 3D...ish car in anime studio but you're better off just using a 3D program if you're trying to do 3D animation Brandon. But if you have your heart set on making something like that in MOHO or Anime Studio go here. It has pretty much any tutorial anyone has ever made for the program! www.animestudiotutor.com/
