Absolutely fantastic. You captured the weather conditions brilliantly.. As a 77 year old, I don't do any hard weather, rough conditions, and hill walking. It was wonderful to do this walk from my armchair, with a younger man taking the strain. I look forward to following you on other walks. Be safe.
Great video & thanks for taking us along. Glencoe is magical for adventures & one of my favourite areas to go all year round. Devils Staircase is still on my list to do. Brilliant to see your passion and character expressed in abundance throughout your adventure. Your smile & laughter whilst enjoying the elements is just infectious. Stay safe & looking forward to the next adventure. It would be nice to know your first name! 😊
Another great watch, thank you. Your positivity and sunny nature whatever the weather is rare indeed these days, as is a young man who has realised what really brings health and joy in life, and it certainly isn't drink and drugs etc. as so many seem to think.
That was a great place to pitch camp in that sheltered hollow, and be able to listen and watch, the wrath of the winds gods fighting it out above you despite it being rugged even in that spot. You've got balls man, big respect
Great stuff 😊. Great to see young folk applying them selves and getting the most out of the fantastic outdoors! Glencoe holds special memories for our family and glen etive is something else again😃. All the best buddy. Already subbed 🫵👏👍🏼
I camped up on that summit a month ago. Made a snowman too pretty much where your tents pitched but obviously it’s melted now. Cracking spot for a camp. Good video buddy
Another good video, Maybe add a pair of ear plugs with your kit! Great thing about the mist, it's a good excuse to return on a more favourable day! Well done on finding that great camp spot and not bailing during the night. Cheers Mark.
Excellent. I enjoyed this film very much. Buchaille Etive Mor is a favourite of mine. I think it was 1989 when walked the WHW. I wasn’t looking forward to the Devil’s Staircase but, like you, it wasn’t anywhere near as difficult as I’d imagined. Keep up the good work.
Layering up is definitely the best course in those conditions! Your filming is great by the way - move the camera too fast and it's all a blur, but you've got it just right!
Watched it a bit late this time but damn this was fun and exciting ahaha, can't even imagine how it must've been for you!! Yet another wonderful adventure filled with good scenery, decent distanced hike and exciting weather conditions 🫡 thanks for taking us along. Hope you got to sleep later after reaching home, you looked completely knackered 🤣
Is there ever a bad day up in Glencoe young fella ⛰️⛰️⛰️🏴🏴🏴🥾🥾 ⛺️ 🤟 What place was that your 1st time up the Devils Staircase? On a clear day the views are incredible i want to hike it and head towards Kinlochleven and back 😄 Glencoe is just magic you’ve got me in the mood for a visit back up there soon such a special place keep up the adventures ⛺️🥾⛰️🏴😆👍
Hello 🙋♂️. Hope you are good !! Question: When you eventually get back home 🏠 and MT all your gear out - how long is it taking you to dry your gear, tent ⛺️ s/bag, ect ect ? Do you dry your tent inside your flat - or do you just wait for a day that does not rain 🌧 and - get it done outside ?? Thanks 🙏 James 🫶✌️
Where Eagles Dare🦅!!: It takes a specially tough winged beastie (Scottish, of course!) to be wind-soaring in those conditions😮. All other wild 'coorin timorous beasties' hiding in the heather from the elements and those Eagles' talons, except our intrepid summiteer munching happily through his tasty pasta meal, while the tent rocks to the force of the wind and 🌧. Did you clean your teeth afterwards😂

Cheers brother. Glad you enjoyed it
I'm glad to see that you enjoyed yourself, despite the weather's best attempts to put a damper on your adventures.
That was a wild one.
Hi mate. Absolutely brilliant, wow what a wild old hike off the hill. As you say, great fun though. All the very best, Dave 🥾😀⛰💨🌧️

Thanks mate, yeh it’s a great spot
Brrr... cold & wet, wet & windy. That's why I'm now a fair weather hiker.

Get me off this mountain!! 😂 brilliant 👍
Very good, you certainly captured the beauty of this wonderful area.

Yeh I just wait till the weathers a bit nicer and stick it outside. Normally doesn’t take too long to dry
